Totally agree with his mindset that his health and well being should come first. It just really stinks from a caste perspective as he is a young talented player.

I hear you Leanardfan, but obviously its his life and I guess he wants to enjoy life into his 80s. I am sure he invested his initial contract money wisely.

The article I saw called him a safety. Dumb asses. I wasn't quite sure of his first name, so I was hoping this was another Borland, not our Borland. Grasping at straws.

If I was in his position I'd go ahead and play. Take the money and the glory and let the future take care of itself.

But I don't always do the smart thing.

I just read the eagles are bringing tebow in for a workout. It is of course being met with ridicule even though tebows skill set is what all the so called experts are certain is the correct fit for chip Kelly's offense.

Id love to see Tebow back in the NFL in any capacity. I still think he would be a very good running back.

Oh man, if the Eagles were to keep Tebow that would really be awesome. Here's hoping he makes the team.

No doubt and he has a degree from Madison. Very prestigious school it takes a 26-29 on ACT to get in there whiche is definitely above average. One of the reasons schools like Wisconsin and Stanford are able to field white friendly teams. But still very upsetting he had a chance to be the LEGIT next Zach Thomas. Man he had such a great first year despite being so underrated/not wanted.

I saw him play live as a Badger and he was unreal. In complete control of the everything around him even as a rookie.

Chris Borland retires

I can't muster much emotion anymore for anything NFL, but this is still a stinging blow. Borland's instant success not only challenged the caste system at the top level, but also at the collegiate level, where he left a legacy as a powerhouse defensive anchor despite his 2-star "professional expert" review. He exceeded expectations at every single level, in contrast to the coddling and micromanagement deemed 'right and exact' for so many of today's properly-shaded elite athletes.

Goodbye, Borland!!

Borland retiring is yet another shocking blow. I'm not sure at such a young age if they fully realize how having money for life without a real 9 to 5 job can help your mental and physical health as well. A strange decision. The guy goes through high school and all four years of college football and finally gets paid to play and decides that this sport is too dangerous. 10 or 20 years from now he will regret this decision. Why do our guys always seem to do this?

And what's with the NFL veterans combine not even inviting Tim Tebow? Tebow to Philly would be a dream.

It’s a shame that Wes Welker, arguably the greatest WR’s of his generation, has garnered so little attention in free agency. A few weeks ago, the receiving savant was linked with the Houston Texans, but no workout or meeting ever took place. There are a few factors likely at work: multiple concussions, low production in 2014, age, and the salary he demands.

Nevertheless, this legendary, high-character player (who after Randall Cobb and Victor Cruz, is the still the best pure slot WR in the league) can’t get a 1-year deal? I think he’ll be signed eventually, perhaps after the draft?

Hey guys glad to see everything back up and running as this is truly the only site of its kind on the web.I had troubles logging in after it restarted but was formerly here as budwizer, but this name fits better anyway.

After the last season i have given up hope on the NFL because of their constant liberal pandering and the Toby situation but now the offseason keeps getting worse every time i do look at nfl. com.Welker receiving no attention,Hillis washed up & probably out of the league at a younger age than other RBs teams are pursuing,& now Borlands retirement right as he was about to become a pro-bowler for decades.Screw the nfl and their racist BS.

I guess if Toby,Woody,Rex,or Zack get a chance i might watch a few games but otherwise i will just follow it on here.

Welcome back BrokenHope. It's not all bad news. Jordy Neson had a huge year almost leading the Packers to the Super Bowl. Aaron Rogers won the NFL MVP barely beating JJ Watt who I was rooting for. JJ Watt was the most dominant player in the league. Brady led the Pats to a 6th Super Bowl. They went on to win with Brady winning the Super Bowl MVP. Edelman, Amendola and Gronkowski all dominated throughout the playoffs and in the Super Bowl. The glass is half full if you choose to look at it that way. I choose that or else I would be pissed off all the time. Anyways, let's keep hoping for the best.

TY White Lightning. My biggest problem is that QB is a position that no matter what will always have good white players with a occasional exceptional black guy in there,as long as their not a thug low-life i have no problem with that.Enough WRs & TEs have solidified playing time that thats also no big deal, except maybe the Buffalo situation.O-lineman have also got a spot on almost every team & you always will have kickers & punters.

It gets tough to handle when your favorite offensive position to watch is RB and Defense is what your more interested in.The constant screwing over of any good white RB is disgusting and has taken away from my ex-favorite sport. On the defensive side we have the most dominant D-lineman ever playing at a high level for years but he is one of few.The handful of starting LBs we have are generally some of the top players at their position but almost every one of them is under-rated until the prove their self and now one is retiring after a single half season that showed HOF potential. At DB as always we are severely under represented but at least Weddle & Smith are pro-bowl caliber athletes.

Its just hard to watch when some of the biggest busts/locker-room cancers are given chance after chance because of upside but will doubtfully ever make a top whatever bust list.Just seen that T-Rich is going to Oakland when he should have been ignored this offseason but Hillis or Brian Leonard can't get a single call.WTF

Sorry for the bad attitude guys but after decades of watching its just lost its fun factor for me.

Running back is my favorite position too. The year with Hillis was so much fun!

I'm pulling hard for ZZ to make some noise. Zach Zenner is for real but will anyone give the kid a chance? I'm hoping but have seen
countless white running backs screwed over for decades now. Maybe this kid somehow beats the odds and gets to play. We can hope!

Rumor is that if the Eagles can trade barkley they will sign tebow. I hope Barkley gets a shot somewhere, he has gotten a raw deal.

That could be a huge win - win in my book.

Would it be out of the realm of possibility that Kelly is building a fast pace, power running offense? They have a great offensive line. Celek is a fantastic blocking tight end. Cooper is one of the best blocking receivers. They get rid of Jackson and Maclin. "Trade" McCoy for the power running of Murray and Matthews. The final piece of the puzzle could be Tebow under center?

If there was ever a team and situation that best fitted Tebow's skill set, it's with the Eagles under Kelly.

I think Tebow needed to convince Chip he has improved as a passer based on his workout. It's a good thing Urban Meyer is good friends with Chip as it may have been Meyer who convinced Chip to give Tim a workout. Meyer is Tim's biggest cheerleader it seems. His private qb house said Tebow is a different passer now. I hope it's true. If that's the case, then there is a chance he convinced Chip enough to pass on mariota and somehow trade bradford. Im sure the media will hammer Chip again but I like what Chip is doing. He does not care what anyone thinks. Even if that's not the case and Chip cuts or trades Barkley, it's good Tebow gets his foot back in the league. Chip would utilize him the way Rex Ryan didn't with the Jets. Matt Barkley won't be buried on the depth chart and could catch on with a team as a backup and get his shot later on.

You'll all love this. The irony espoused by this rat Les Shapiro is incredible. He basically projects everything we know about the vast majority of black quarterbacks onto Tebow, who when given fair chances HAS produced. It's a subterfuge reminiscent of the immigration policies endorsed by a certain ethnic group (shapiro's) in America while they totally oppose such policies in another foreign state....

Finally, a little news on Wes Welker...

The Green Bay Packers could add some veteran leadership to help bolster their receiving group.
Per a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Packers could be a landing spot for receiver Wes Welker.
"One team to watch for him, the Green Bay Packers," Rapoport said. "They're looking in the receiver market, not going to want to spend a lot of money. And of course for Wes Welker, he'd love to play for another big-time quarterback. Just like he did with Tom Brady, just like he did with Peyton Manning."

If Welker goes to Green Bay, it could only hinder the progress of Jared Abberderis and Jeff Janis. Also, he’d likely only be the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] WR after Nelson, Cobb, and Adams. That said, the Packers are perennial Superbowl contenders (and Wes has lost the big game 3 times) and could be his best chance to get a ring before retirement. Also, an injury to Cobb or Adams could open up significant playing time for the impossible-to-cover slot machine.

The msm wrote Barkley off after he didn't play like a Hall of Famer his rookie season. Of course they did it because he was white.

Barkley might be available for a low draft pick. If I were a quarterback needy team I'd jump at the chance to get Barkley at that price.

2 Broncos' free agents signed elsewhere. DE/DT Mitch Unrein signed with rival San Diego. Long time Peyton Manning companion Jacob Tamme signed with Atlanta.

Denver is going to be very black. Tamme for Daniels was a wash but now Derek Wolfe is the only White man left on defense. As it stands now, Denver has an all-none-White line. They could have only Manning, Daniels and Wolfe as starters next year.

Right Lew???? If Satan is made up, the Ten Commandments are made up, then the Bible is made up, which I'm sure you believe, (that it's made up), Where do you get your morality from? Yourself?

I guess everything's made up, Aristotle, Socrates, any ancient writings are made up. I guess nothing's real. Is CF real? What's not made up Lew? What's real?

Why don't some of you guys who are secular humanist, atheist, or whatever you are,( believe), begin another thread on Happy Hour, instead of throwing out what you don't believe on the football thread?

We'll debate it there!

Again, Hats off to Craig James for standing up!

You already know my answer when it comes to the Bible. We get our morality from our ancestors and our DNA. Of course Aristotle and Socrates are real, they weren't supernatural beings, just highly intelligent White men. There's no doubt to their existence. Secular Humanists are cultural marxists, and I'm obviously not one of them. And no offense but you're the one who initially brought religion into the thread. Also are you forgetting all those years Craig James spent on ESPN ? He's nothing but a shameless caste whore. To hell with him.

I find the intelligent design argument to be pretty reasonable.

I couldn't find more comprehensive coverage of the results of the NFL Veterans combine. Overall it wasn't at all something that would help many of our players. The running back times are hilarious though. Felix Jones runs in the 4.8 range now after running a 4.4 at his combine in like 2008. Their is a list of some of the other RBs as well - running in the 4.8s/4.9s. It really exposes the caste system which is good for us. It provides evidence from the source how quickly the so called super affletes supposed superiority deteriorates very quickly.

I heard Carriker threw up 40 225lb BPs and Tyler Wilson generated some positive buzz with his workout. Carriker is a beast, has been more of a victim of injuries impacting his career than anything else. I think he should make a team.

The media also trying to make the whole Michael Sam gay story popular again since he was in attendance and had a mediocre workout.
