The fact that the Eagles traded Foles is proof positive that winning games dosent matter to these coaches, or Gms. If winning mattered Foles would be THE franchise QB after that year he had. White southern Christians are simply not allowed.

Maybe these puppets are getting orders from somewhere above, or maybe they are mentally retarded. It HAS to be one or the other. I have more trouble believing the latter.

If Chip Kelly is “creating a white team culture†in Philly, it surely wasn’t agreeable to Nick Foles…

Nick Foles is glad to be out of Philadelphia.
Foles, the former Eagles quarterback who was traded to the Rams for Sam Bradford and draft picks yesterday, apparently wanted to leave. Sal Paolantonio of ESPN said on 97.5 The Fanatic that a Foles relative described Foles as ecstatic to no longer be an Eagle.

“I just talked to a member of Nick Foles’s family. He is absolutely pumped, overjoyed he’s out of Philly,†Paolantonio said.

From everything we’ve seen, Foles is a well-mannered, religious, polite, professional young guy. Was Foles upset to see so many teammates traded, released, or allowed to sign elsewhere? Does he have intimate knowledge that they'll be drafting Mariotta? Is Kelly difficult to deal with?

Fitzpatrick to the Jets. I still hope that smiff is cut from the team and out of the league this year.

I quite like Chip Kelly i think people are being slightly unfair on him. I agree that as a player Foles is better than Bradford but maybe its just a personal problem they just dont get along perhaps. They are both white so its not as if its a white guy loosing a starter role. He did say some good things about Bradford in the press conference today so guess just have to watch this space. He has created a very pro white roster in his two years in the job just have to trust he knows what he's doing, hopefully creating the white version of the pats in the nfc!

I know it is being a little nitpicky but Bradford does
identify himself as Native American and the media have used that as a talking point. He has been a bust up to this point as well.

Ok fair enough i take your point re Bradford and his ethnicity, always thought of him as white but no what you mean.

Does Bradford identify as an Indian, or is that something the media thrusts upon him, like they do with Mark Sanchez and his partial Mexican background? At 1/64 Indian, I have my doubts that Bradford voluntarily starts talking or identifying himself that way. . .

Bradford is not a bust, he's just injury prone. When healthy he is a very good quarterback. This could be a trade that works out for both teams/players.. assuming one of those teams doesn't do something stupid like draft Hundley.

I think that Bradford has all the ability to succeed, he plays well when healthy so hopefully stays fit and he could be a good signing for the Eagles. Like Robert Griffin the Turd says could be a win win for both teams with a bit of luck.

From Wiki: Bradford is 1/16th Cherokee and listed as an official citizen on the Cherokee Nation tribe's rolls.

1/16th is nothing. I have Turkish in me but I'm clearly a white man. Bradford passes the eye test and thats all that matters

Fair enough. I just hope he remains healthy and is able to be effective. Totally agree regarding either team drafting Hundley. Again I just think Foles is the more talented player.

True. I just get annoyed when people who pass the eyeball test try to mention they are part of some other ethnicity which somehow excludes their European ancestry.

This is a good move for the Jets. The overwhelming sentiment I get here in NY and with Jets fans is that they are done with Smiff. They know he stinks and isn't worth "trying to develop". With that said, who knows how the new GM and coach feel about him.

Personally, I think the Jets would be wise to either draft Petty, Mannion or Grayson if they can't trade for Glennon or Cousins. Either way they need a new, young quarterback to groom under Fitzpatrick.

Bradford's one Indian relative is a great-great grandparent, which makes him four generations removed, or 1/64 Indian. Regardless if he's 1/16 or 1/64, he's about as much an "Indian" as Tony Romo is a "Mexican," they're both regarded as White for Caste System purposes.

I defer to Don on this :) and I am a romo fan so that settles the score for me. I just hope he remains healthy and is effective as the starter.

also I hope I didn't come off as incendiary to anyone involved in this conversation.

Does anyone know what's going on with Welker and Woodhead? I've seen nothing on the various sports sites like ESPN and NFL.com

I have "Google Alerts" for Welker, Woodhead and a lot of other White players. When you do that Google sends any relevant articles about them from the previous 24 hours. It's a good way to find stuff from sources other than the dominant ones like ESPN and SI, and a fair amount of local material shows up too.

Alternatively, Google them and then click "News" and a lot of the same articles that Google Alert sends show up.

Woodhead is under contract at the Chargers, should see a bigger role with Matthews moving on. Welker is a different matter not sure if he might retire but he is a free agent.

Danny Woodhead (fractured fibula/ankle) is "ahead of schedule" and on track to make a "full recovery."
The injury was a bad one, but happened early enough last year that Woodhead should have a chance to participate in OTAs. An oft-used passing-down back in Mike McCoy's offense, Woodhead could be a value pick late in 2015 PPR drafts. We've seen Woodhead last until the 20th (last) round of early MFL10s. Mar 7 - 4:36 PM

Nothing concrete on Welker, just that he intends on playing in 2015.

Last week, there were multiple articles linking Welker to the Texans, but since free agency opened, there hasn’t been a single update on Welker or any the teams interested in signing him. The don’t buy that the Texans are interested, as they already have two black slot WRs (Damaris Johnson and Keyshawn Martin) on the roster.

Welker played the 2012 season under a franchise tag and when the 2013 free agency period began, it was reported that the only teams interested in signing him at his asking price were Denver and New England. Now that his price will be much lower, I assume he’ll garner more interest.

An update on one of last year's ridiculous FA signings. "Sack specialist" Johnson had just 20 tackles and 7 assists to go with his paltry 4 sacks:

Bucs released DE Michael Johnson. They're giving up on him after one season of a "five-year, $45 million" deal. Along with LT Anthony Collins -- also released -- Johnson was a complete flop in Tampa Bay last season, battling a high ankle sprain, not giving full effort when healthy, and managing four sacks across 14 games. Assuming his price tag is low -- and it figures to be after Johnson put so much bad play on tape last season -- the Bengals are expected to be interested in a reunion. We also wouldn't rule out former Cincinnati DC Mike Zimmer's Vikings giving Johnson a long look.

Concerning Welker, I believe the Titans were interested in him after the 2012 season, but not sure if their offer (assuming they made one) was anything similar to what he got from Denver.

I'm with you, but I don't think he aces the "eye test." I remember when there was talk of the Redskins making moves to get him years ago and his ancestry came up. I'm glad he didn't go to DC because I'm sure he would've been thrust into the "debate" about the team name. He seems to be claimed by "native american" organizations. No biggie.

Tampa signs Chris Conte and he has a good chance to start. The Jets were also in contention. At least he had interest after being thoroughly unfairly demonized and scapegoated by the media and DWFs the past two years.
