Scoring-maven, Thomas Müller, has now amassed a stunning 9 goals in 9 World Cup Finals games. It was great to watch the fiery young German blister the ball past the arrogant mulatto, Tim Howard…

Unfortunately, Miro Klose narrowly missed his record-setter, only moments after entering the game. At age 36, he still looks every bit as dangerous as he did 12 years ago in Japan/Korea.

If Russia gets past Algeria and advances, they’ll likely play Germany in the round of 16. Unfortunately, with the way Russia has played, such a game may not be a pretty site. I'll hope the best for Russia, assuming they get through. The winner of Germany/Russia would play the winner of France/Nigeria.

Germany are looking good and they will likely make the finals at least - hopefully against someone like Argentina. Netherlands will be tough too and with 8 white starters there are much worse teams.

There really isn't a single dominant team in the tournament. All the top teams so far have displayed weaknesses in various areas. I'd love to see a Germany-Argentina final, and both teams have a decent road to get there, at least on paper. But their defense worries me, giving up some easy goals and careless openings that can be costly in the knock-out stages against high-caliber competition.

I believe Brazil has to go thru Chile, Holland, and Germany, assuming those teams advance as expected. That is a difficult road for sure.

I've heard some people compare the Messi/Argentina situation to that of 1986 when Maradona single-handedly led them to the WC, but the game is different now. Messi has been great, but the rest of the team needs to step up, especially the back line. I don't have much confidence in their coach, honestly.

Great goal for Russia! They have an almost all-White squad apart from Samedov and Dzagoev and are starting with 10 White players! C'mon Russia!

Thrashen buddy, not to start a flame war here but how can you root against your home country? Is Tim Howard really that arrogant? Just because the US team is mixed dosen't mean you have to root against them.

Screw the American team. I root for white teams not half white teams.

Do you cheer for all or almost all-black U.S. basketball teams again white teams in the Olympics?

I support White teams - Our Race Is Our Nation

I support the White team whatever nation it is, I don't support England just because it has some White players.

There are still too many patriotard Amurricans who root for the good 'ol US of A whose team is replete with Mexicans, Mulattoes and other 'exotic' types. As the anti-White jewish supremacist Tim Wise said, 'Gentleman, your nation has left the building'

No time for Peter Pan comrades, you have to deal with the demographics of 2014, not 1914...

Announcing a South Korea game must be fun. Lee passes it to Kim. Kim up to Park. Now to Lee. Over to Kim. Flicked on to Kim......;)

Anyway, this Belgium lineup is much easier to support. I doubt they will but if they start 9 against USA, they'll be the clear team to support.

Agreed - Belgium has started 7 to 9 whites. I believe the U.S. was down to 5 or 6 today (I did not see the game).

Yep, started 6 and ended with 5. FYI, I count Bedoya as White but not Gonzalez.

Belgium starting 9 whites!

One of them, Steven Defour, has been sent off for a stupid two-footed tackle. I don't think we'll see him again in the tournament. If a whiter Belgian team draws with crappy South Korea then we might as well get used to a blacker line-up for the rest of the tournament.

Its been a good day so far.Russia currently lead Algeria 1-0 at half time.To be honest the Russians are an average side and Algeria are mounting pressure so hopefully they can hold on and progress to the knockout stages.

Nigeria are the only African team to progress which isn't a problem as they are a poor side.Ivory Coast and Ghana are Africa's strongest teams and both have been eliminated which is a huge positive. To be fair Ghana are a decent side they have pace and invention up front but like all black players and teams they are prone to mental and tactical mistakes

Only black African country. Alas, Algeria goes through. The Algerians have a chance to avenge Germany over that infamous match in 1982. I don't think they'll do it. The Germans should win handily.

Yes, Russia lost to Northern Ireland in the qualifying. Proof right there that they wouldn't do well in Brazil.

USA is a state, not a nation state. Blood is thicker than the lines on a map.

One thing I don't understand is how some teams continue to persist with goalkeepers who have played poorly.

I'm talking about Casillas,Akinfeev and Pletikosa.

Casillas and Pletikosa have both failed at the second time of asking, hopefully Akinfeev will stay strong!

Akinfeev didn't 'stay strong'...I just knew!

Why can't coaches see the fairly obvious and replace their keepers?:frusty:

The laser could've played a part though:

Brazil vs Chile
Netherlands vs Mexico
Colombia vs Uruguay
Costa Rica vs Greece
France vs Nigeria
Argentina vs Switzerland
Belgium vs US
Germany vs algeria

There are some very clear choices to root for here.

i edited russia out

i hope brazil loses to chile
netherlands wins against mexico, but i wouldn't mind a mexico victory too
colombia will win against uruguay
i hope greece wins against costa rica
france-nigeria: neutral
argentina will beat switzerland
belgium will beat the US
and germany will beat algeria

now the nigerians skipped a training session because they want more money and won't play until they get it
what a joke
the african teams are going to be punished by FIFA for this and their bad results i think
the number of african teams at the world cup won't be increased and might decrease

Earlier today I was listening to a radio panel discussion of African failures at the WC and the Ghanian teams mutiny. One of the white liberals on the panel jumped in and said something like the following: "but it is not just Africans who are not representing their country well. The French were the same in 2010. So it is a worldwide problem with spoiled athletes". White liberals always look out for their pets.
