I'm no flag-waving neocon, but given that Portugal's team is only slightly whiter than the USA's, I'm not feeling the need to root against the American team right now. I'm not an ultra-far-right let's-ally-with-the-ultra-far-left-and-destroy-mainstream-America-together type either.

Now Germany vs. USA, I will be rooting for Germany.

If the American team started at least 8 whites in every match, I would have no problem rooting for them. I don't like cheering for people who don't look like me.

Portugal is still alive I think, but barely. If Germany beats USA and Portugal beats Ghana, they might advance depending goal differential.

But from what saw of Ghana's play yesterday and Portugal today, I'm not sure about Portugal's chances. Ghana could still advance from this group, it would've been better if USA had won today. It was literally a last second goal right there.

The US team doesn't know how to close matches. In the last one against Ghana Bradley crossed it into the box instead of taking it to the corner flag and Ghana got another chance to score. Tonight it was virtually the same story. They had possession gave it up (Bradley again?) and this time got punished.

Depending on the amount of sun his siblings receive, some look quite Amerindian looking, while others look like Spaniards. He is probably a Castizo to not quite Mestizo. Below is a picture of the Bosnian team that was robbed by poor the refs against Nigeria. Sorry, but they are one of the whitest teams in the tournament and I will root for them. Not to mention that I understand that about 1/2 of Bosnia is Christian anyway. Do they suck? The little spot on the map that is Bosnia lost to Argentina 1-2 and with square calls would have beaten Nigeria 1-0.

it's not even about islam or whiteness in this case, it's about common sense
germany is one of the best countries in soccer history
switzerland was one of the first to have a professional league, and were in the final of the 1924 olympic games (which were the world cup of then)
sweden played a world cup final too and has produced many star players
so there should be german, swedish and swiss players playing for bosnia, not bosnians playing for these countries and clubs

i feel like there are far too many players from serbia/bosnia etc in europe's leagues than there should be

mexico and croatia will battle for a place to the next round
it's so unfair, the group was ruined by refereeing
first brazil should have lost against croatia, one of the most ridiculous refereeing i ever saw
