as expected brazil scored from a free-kick or corner kick
on every corner kick/freekick the chilean defence and goalkeeper look comically vulnerable

Yes,you were right, also Chile's defence is at sixes and sevens everytime a brazilian makes a rather straightforward run towards the box, they could hardly handle Gustavo's run.

Jesus Christ, what a match of football that was. My heart was literally pounding with excitement during extra time and penalties. I can only imagine how intense that would be to genuine Brazilian or Chilean fans.

Chile deserves a ton of respect. Brazil nicked it by the closest of calls.

Alexis Sanchez and Charles Aranguiz were brilliant for Chile. Hulk, Neymar, and David Luiz solid for Brazil.

But the real hero of the match is Toronto FC's own, the keeper Julio Cesar. Balls of steel to save the first two penalties. Can't believe this guy plays and lives in the same city as me Toronto.

Great match.

I wasn't supporting either side just watching the match casually.

Racially speaking, Brazil's black subs performed horribly. Jo missed an open net, and Willian had the worse penalty of all, literally missing the net entirely.

Don't think we'll be seeing much more of Willian. Maybe thats unfair as he seems a good player, but that penalty was absurdly bad.

yes, good game by chile, bad game from the brazilians

brazil are very lucky to go that far because they are really the worst brazilian team i ever saw and one of the worst south american teams at the world cup
colombia will take them out in the next tround

colombia's core is white or non black: the goalkeeper (very important) the central defender yepes, the midfielder james rodriguez, and the striker falcao, who is not at the world cup but replaced with the mestizo striker
around them there are blacks who can run for hours without getting tired

ofcourse uruguay has nothing to be ashamed of with their 3M inhabitants
they won't go to the semi finals every 4 years (and i think they should have won in 2010)
the ones who make it possible for colombia to go that far are the big nations like england and italy by playing with black forwards, ruining their chances to get out of their group in the process

That goal by James has to be the strike of the World Cup thus far. It reminded me of the interception of Jason Sehorn several years ago in a playoff game in the NFL. Total situational awareness and athleticism to go the job done. Outstanding!!!

Qatar: UK media investigation into World Cup bribery allegations is racist and Islamophobic

Qatar is now trying to drum up Arab and Muslim support by branding a recent Sunday Times report and wider British society as “racist.”

Using social media to build sympathy, many in the country are now bashing recent coverage by the British newspaper on Qatar’s alleged World Cup 2022 bribery scandal as having “racist” and “biased” overtones.

today:

holland-mexico

and greece-costa rica

we'll see how many whites will start for holland and how well their white stars will do

and hoping that greece can beat costa rica
i didn't watch an entire match involving costa rica yet so i don't know how they could finish first in england and italy's group
any thoughts on costa rica are welcome

Costa Rica look pretty good from what I've seen. Given how mediocre Greece has performed I think Costa Rica will probably win this game.
