Since 2005, the Boilermakers have started 9, 8, 8, 9, 11, 12, 8, 6, and 9 white starters. Expect another huge leap this year up to 13 white starters!! QB Danny Etling is key to the Boilermakers' success this year, and he should have plenty of white targets to throw the ball to this year. Purdue is a team to watch this year!! Backups to look for are: QB Austin Appleby, WRs Shane Mikesky, Dan Monteroso, and BJ Knauf, LT Joey Warburg, LG Cameron Cermin, C Kirk Barron, RT David Hedelin, and LBs Collin Link and Garret Hudson. Landon's younger brother Evan could also factor into the equation at safety. Go Boilermakers!!

Offense

QB- Danny Etling
WR- Cameron Posey
WR- Danny Anthrop
TE- Justin Sinz
LT- J.J. Prince
LG- Jason King
C- Ryan Kugler
RG- Jordan Roos
RT- Jack De Boef

Defense

DT- Jake Replogle
ILB- Jimmy Herman
SLB- Sean Robinson
SS- Landon Feichter

This is great. I would be happy if teams at least had starting white receivers and a safety or two.

I followed Purdue in the '90s and into the '00s when they had Mike Alstott, good White WRs like Vinny Sutherland and John Standeford, and lots of White players in general on both sides of the ball. Looks like I can root for them again now. :whoo:

Nice wideout lineup

Great job as usual guys on preseason college football team previews. Knauf can really fly.

A reasonable threshhold for white starters on college teams to root for is going to be 11. Seems like a decent number of teams have that many. Glad to see Purdue is one of them!

Of course, always root for the whiter team. That's a no-brainer.
