The mom looks Poly to me. Poly usually means black in the Caste System, but maybe not at running back. Fullback might be okay, but at running back with a white father ...... he will not be getting any carries in the NFL.
I dunno its hard to tell, i think looking at the small picture, and the picture of his little brother, she is mexican, or some type of hispanic with indian blood, I don't think he is part black like some suggest and looks Whiter than Jace Amaro and Greg Salas who many on this site support(ed.) Since its rb I will support him. I dunno, a poly might get to some carries like Matt Asiatia (spelling) who I believe is poly, and got carries with Peterson and Gerhart went down, and was praised for a mediocre performance (low ypc but some easy goal line tds), some speculated Ryan Matthews was poly until he said one parent was White and one was black in an NFL interview. I haven't seen a single dwf view him anything other than White and gets the standard "lack of straight line homerun speed, limited hip wiggle" comments.
One of my good friends growing up had a mom that looked similar, although a little lighter, from Houma, where Cajuns mixed with indians. He identified as White and was a good guy. If she were skinnier it would be easier to tell.

Tyler Gaffney is white! I have looked at good pictures of him. I actually was probably one of the first to notice Tyler Gaffney and Brandon Wegher from WhiteRivals.com and BrownieScout.com, but originally mistook them as mullato from non-close-up pics of them and got beat to starting a H.S thread on them by White Power and Jimmy Chitwood.
Gaffney was somehow ranked a FB on Rivals and not even in the White Rivals 250 after posting the measurables and ridiculous stats he did, including a eye popping 300 yard performance in his California H.S Championship game. Plus (just like Sam McGuffie) his ranking began to drop faster than flies- after originally being in the White rivals 100 as a tailback (so Gaffney's got to be white)!
I was gonna mention that about Gaffney tough! A black/mullato RB with Tyler's numbers and measurables would've been a 5-star back easily. Instead, he was a FB and not even ranked in the Rivals' 250. That alone pretty much proves he's white.

(and now its happening all over again in the NFL), I think he would get a better shot if he were poly, I mean look at at Troy P (not even going to bother spelling it right).
combine profile
[h=4]Strengths[/h] Excellent size. Effective inside runner. Nice vision and patience. Runs behind his pads -- churns his legs through contact and fights for extra yards. Good hands as a receiver out of the backfield. Highly competitive. Tough and durable. Well-conditioned athlete -- showed he could handle a heavy workload after a year away from the gridiron (averaged 24 carries per game). [h=4]Weaknesses[/h] Tight-hipped and straight-linish.
Limited twitch and wiggle. Gears down to cut. Average quickness to and through the hole. Runs duck-footed and lacks breakaway speed -- tracked down from behind. Has split his time and training between two sports. [h=4]Bottom Line[/h] Gaffney, who doubles as a baseball player, rejoined the Cardinal football team after a one-year stint in Class A. Did not skip a beat, shouldering the load as a feature back and putting himself back on the NFL radar by showing inside running skills as a big, athletic, downhill back willing to grind out the tough yards.
Has the determination and competitiveness to earn a backup role for a power-running team.
The duck footed thing Ive noticed in the open field, I don't see it as a problem, but he does have wiggle and twitch and doesn't really need to gear down to change direction, not even close to what someone like Hill or Hyde have to, but thats what they say about every White guy who times well in the 40, that they are slow to change direction, i remember after Jordy's performance people were saying "yeah but it takes a sun dial to time his speed when he changes direction". His shuttle and 3 cone drill times prove his quickness, but that doesn't mean anything to anybody apparently.
So, so a little mexican/indian blood isn't going to stop me from rooting for him, as long as it isn't black. I actuallly have an easier time rooting for him than the jewish guy from Iowa, Mark Weissman but its all about how fans perceive him, I mean even Woodhead looks to have a small amount of indian blood in him. If we were judging players from a stormfront perspective we'd lose some athletes to cheeer for.
