2014 Central Michigan Chippewas

Here are the projected white starters for the Chippewas this year. From 2006-2012, Central Michigan started 8, 10, 15, 13, 11, and 11 whites. There was no preview for the 2013 squad, but I imagine they were around half white. The Chippewas are easily a CF team of choice this year, starting 14 whites, and an all-white offensive backfield!! 2 white DBs should also be starting this year in SS Kevin King and NB Tony Annese. Some white Chippewas to look for off the bench are: QB Cody Kater, the entire 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] string on the OL, DEs Donny Kyre and Joe Ostman, DT Matt Losinecki, SLB Nathan Ricketts, and MLB Cody Lopez. A fair amount of white depth on the team as well… I wish they’d have a bit more with the offensive skill positions, but I’m not complaining. Go Chippewas!! I hope they win the MAC this year.

Don't worry about it. It stands for Nickel back. With so many teams running the spread, many defenses will drop an LB or even in some cases a DL and play with a 5th defensive back, which is the nickel back.

Not anymore, after the transfer with his hip swivel and "upside", not to mention his room-brightening smile, just got suspended indefinitely after being charged with three felonies... from Rotoworld:

Central Michigan senior RB Thomas Rawls has been suspended indefinitely after being charged with three felonies.
The charges include stealing a purse at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort and stealing two credit cards from said purse, according to beat writer Nate Schneider. On Saturday, a CMU release stated "an issue that came to our attention," and Rawls was subsequently withheld from the game against Syracuse. The Michigan transfer rushed for 276 yards and three touchdowns on 56 attempts prior to missing this contest. The Chippewas lost 40-3 to Syracuse.
