I apologize as every year I find some obscure white corner back and they never wind up playing but these 2 might pan out. Arizona has 2 white corners in Brendan Murphy and Logan Bartlett. Murphy was on the 2 deep last year as a senior but was inexplicably redshirted. The weird thing is that he is from my hometown of New Hartford, NY. He runs a 10.9 100 meters so at least he has speed for the position. He should at least get some playing time this year.
Bartlett is a redshirt freshman from California. I don't know if he will pan out but apparently he had a hell of a spring game. Maybe 2 to watch. Maybe not.

I saw this thread and realized we are only 2 months away from college football. Anyone interested in doing previews? I just started a new job so I have been pretty busy and bogged down by that but can probably do some write ups.

Here are this year's starters for the Arizona Wildcats:

Offense -
TE - Trevor Wood
OT - Mickey Baucus
OG - Jacob Alsadek

Defense -
DT - Dan Pettinato
LB - Scooby Wright III
S - Jared Tevis

Horrible number this year for an all time low of 4. Rich Rod loves his black QBs and it looks like QB Conner Brewer won't be starting here. Back ups include OT Jacob Arzourman, OG Zach Hemmila, C Carter Wood, DT Luca Bruno, NT Jeff Worthy, DE Jack Banda, LB Jake Matthews, and CB Brendan Murphy.

The back up numbers suggest that this year will be an aberration and they should return more white starters in the coming years, but for now this is a team to root against.

When bitchrod is at the helm of the team they always are easy to root against. He is one of the most despicable caste whore coaches of the past 10 years.

I made a bit of a mistake. Apparently they have a starting LB in sophomore Scooby Wright III. You can probably see from the name why I automatically assumed this guy wasn't white. Also I expect the sparingly used TE spot to become more of a factor from reports I have read. I expect a white starter here as well, most likely freshman Trevor Wood. So add two more.

Depth Charts have NOT been updated...Look for LSU transfer DE-Jordan Allen to make a big impact!

Safety Jared Tevis could be compared to a poor man's Pat Tillman?? Let him get drafted in the 7th Round & see what he can do as well!

Looking for JUCO stud NT Jeff Worthy to get some starts by seasons end...

I'm sure they will find a special teams role for back-up CB Murphy...Do not see CB Logan Bartlett on current roster

Looks like Arizona is playing at least 6 or 7 whites on defense on the regular tonight...including Jordan Allen who transferred from LSU...Scooby Wright & Jared Tevis should get a shot in the NFL!

I don't buy Phil Steele's Magazine anymore...too many defensive white players demoted far too often!

I was just looking for the thread to post this haha... I've been watching the game and noticed this as well. From whom I saw at the start, and from Arizona's depth chart, the following white players started:

NT- Jeff Worthy
DT- Dan Pettinato
SLB- Cody Ippolito
MLB- Scooby Wright III
BANDIT- Jared Tevis

Also like 22 said, Jordan Allen has been playing great off the bench. WLB Jake Matthews has also been seeing a fair amount of action, and I'm guessing NT Parker Zellers has been in as well. Potentially 8 white players playing on defense for the Wildcats!! Very impressive, especially for a Pac-12 team. Even with only 3 white starters on offense, the amount of white play makers on defense makes this a team to follow in my book.

Thanks JL for the defensive breakdown! A pleasant surprise indeed!

I could be wrong....When Arizona's Defense came out I saw #18 D-End Jordan Allen starting.....if not he sure was put in very quickly on the first series.

I think you may be right, 22. I saw him in the game nearly every series I paid attention to the defense as well, giving the Wildcats an all-white DL for a good chunk of the game! That would give Arizona 6 white defensive starters!! A team to watch for sure.
