You guys have to cut Denver some slack. Just because they don't start as many White o-lineman as some other teams doesn't mean they aren't caste-breaking when two of the top receivers are White and often the tight end. Welker returns punts, another very visible place to put a great White player.

Wolfe is out with illness, Stewart Bradley was going to be their starting MLB until he was injured, Walton the center was injured, Dreessen and Tamme were both hurt at various times. Denver would have 7-8 White starters without all the injuries, so it has to be kept in perspective.

Don Beebe caught 4 against the Steelers in 1991. Still wasn't enough for him to be a starter of course.

Seriously? A White guy making a block on the offensive line is the same as Decker making TD catches and Welker returning punts?? I had no idea so many at CF were interested in the intricacies of run blocking.

I would simply prefer that the Patriots have home field advantage over the Broncos. If you disagree, that's fine, but the Pats seem to have a few more palefaces out there than the Broncos.

He also has 72 receiving yards and a receiving TD. I'll give him credit, he's played very hard and smart this season after previously being a first round bust.

According to Weenieworld, Julian Edelman is now on pace for 93 receptions and 948 yards. Would be great to see him get over 1,000. He's someone no one in the league wanted this season as a free agent and ended up re-signing with the Patriots for relative peanuts.

i still say he is a bust, a very average player with a great passing game, that took 5 years to become an average player. This is the 7th game this season where he averaged 3.3 or less per carry. There are plenty of White guys that could do the same or better sitting at home. Backup fullbacks in the league could do that, his longest run this year is 25 yards, never had a rush go more than 36 yards in his career but straight line speed is always a deciding factor with White backs. Id love to see Jacob Hester in the same role.

Of course he is going to have room to run underneath, the defense has to about covering DT and Decker and of course Welker on shorter to intermediate routes, plus tight ends.

The Bears could have signed Brian Urlacher cheap but chose to let him retire instead (and like Edelman, no other teams were interested in signing him). Without him Chicago's run defense has greatly deteriorated and they're no threat to go anywhere even if they make the NFC playoffs.

dont forget he played defensive back pretty damn well when they stuck him in there, i forget how long it was for but it seemed like a while. At the time I was kind of hoping he would stay playing as a nickel back compared to situational role at wr he had before.

Brian Hartline caught nine passes for 127 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 13 win over the Jets. Hartline led the Dolphins in receiving and finished with a team-high 15 targets. He was able to take advantage when matched up with Dee Milliner in coverage, and beat Antonio Cromartie on a 31-yard slant route for a touchdown in the third quarter. It was just his second 100-yard game of the season. Hartline has 62 receptions for 804 yards and three touchdown through 12 games. His lack of big-play ability will continue to limited [sic] him as a WR4 going forward.

Nelson, Welker, and Woodhead all frozen out, and it still ends up being a pretty good week. Gronk, Edelman, Hartline, and Decker with standout performances. Amendola, Durham, Cooper, and various tight ends with solid numbers. Steltz, Greenway, Alonso, Kuechly, Worrilow, Posluszny, and Hawk, all led their teams in tackles.

Just noting the commercials, the Nissan commercial where the guy has to impress the girl's father. Shows a clean-cut black guy driving his new Nissan to a nice middle-class black family home that actually has a father to please. First, only 13% of the population, and then how many are middle/upper middle class with a father present? Then immediately after that is a Coors light commercial featuring a black ice-climber delivering beer to a black club high in the snowy mountains. OK.
