Maybe if the Giants continued to play Peyton Hillis they might win a few more games. As soon as he went to the "inactive" list, the latest losing streak started. And NFL coaches are supposed to be smart, "only the best players play", "players that give the best chance to win". Instead, we have plodding Brandon Jacobs in the backfield.

I don't like Denver's charcoal defense but all things considered, there could be far worse things than them winning it all. Peyton Manning is living proof of white quarterback superiority. Another ring would affirm that and would quell the fervor over the incoming black quarterback class. We can keep a lid on it if white QBs keep winning Super Bowls.

Just noting the commercials, the Nissan commercial where the guy has to impress the girl's father. Shows a clean-cut black guy driving his new Nissan to a nice middle-class black family home that actually has a father to please. First, only 13% of the population, and then how many are middle/upper middle class with a father present? Then immediately after that is a Coors light commercial featuring a black ice-climber delivering beer to a black club high in the snowy mountains. OK.

One has to suspend disbelief when watching alot of these commercials...

I was watching a show on the computer not really paying attention, tv in here is small, I was thinking of how Hillis got screwed over, look up and see a back that look like he got shot out of a cannon and realized it was Hillis. 2nd run was even better. It looks like he is almost back to form, he needs to start trying to dodge defenders though, just a side step here and there, although he always did have a kamikaze type of style.

Jacobs should go, he isn't valuable in the passing game and looks like he lost a few steps and they aren't coming back.

Amazing that the first drive they use Hillis they score when nothing went on for the first quarter.
Its a damn shame that all it would take to really gain my interest in the NFL is to have one White starting halfback to follow.

It would be on par with Baltimore winning last year with 5 white starters and a white QB. New England with their 12-13 white starters or Philly with their 9 white starters would be much better.

1) A second Super Bowl victory would further solidify Manning's legacy.

2) Manning is the unquestioned leader of this team, whereas Ray Lewis was the leader of Baltimore.

3) Welker and Decker have prominent roles in this offense in caste positions.

I agree. It's just not quantity of White starters, but also quality, ie what positions they play and who they are.

was that is for Hillis? just a "how to" tutorial for running the ball so Brown can try to emulate.

its good to see White receivers and tight ends, they are more visible to dwfs but sometimes I feel like we have too few White linemen, like we are slowly losing the battle there as more sumos come into the league, but Id be perfectly happy with Manning's win. Even dwfs know that he is the main reason they are winning. Welker is a proven commodity and Decker is seen a legitimate outside receiver with talent. The defense that is supposedly so great that "helped Tebow win" doesn't look that great, I think the ball control offense keeping off the field made them look better than they actually were.

Manning has a quick release and great poise in the pocket so the line looks better than it actually is, and announcers even talk about how quick Manning's release is, so it kind of takes away from the line.
