Actually Football Dad, Hillman has been a serial fumbler as has Montee Ball. That's why they've turned to the latest great black hope (an undrafted free agent) this week in the hopes that he'll be able to back up Knowshon Moreno without not only not fumbling but also preventing Peyton Manning from being seriously injured by knowing the rudiments of pass protection.

Hillman and Ball were both high draft choices; odds are the undrafted free agent will be better than both, just as many White running backs if given a chance would be better than many highly touted black RBs, Trent Richardson being a great example. And even Knowshon Moreno himself is another first round bust who is finally playing half decent this season, meaning he knows how to pass protect and is a pretty good receiver, a relative rarity among black RBs, but he's far from a topnotch runner.

The Broncos are one of the teams that should have given Peyton Hillis a chance. He has a proven track record and would have been popular among the fans.

There are two other white running backs that aren't with teams; Nate Eachus and Joe Martinek. They're both good enough to play in the NFL and could help the Broncos.

two? there are many.

where is Jake Sharp, possibly the fastest running back in the 2010 draft class? timed at his KU pro day running the 40 in a blazing 4.34 seconds and putting up 19 reps on the bench press at 225 pounds, a 35-inch vertical leap, a 10-foot 4-inch broad jump, and a 4.10 short shuttle, Sharp never even got a smell of the NFL. instead, he's now the strength and conditioning coach at a high school.

the list could go on and on ...

Hillis is expected to get the start and be the man today for the Giants. hopefully, he'll have a monster game.

Eagles defense is slightly above average against the run as far as yards per carry go, but they have been terrible against the pass. Hillis is far and away the best back for the passing game and if they spread the field with deep routes he could haul in some monster yardage from dumpoffs. There is really no reason for the Giants to play any other back at all in this game outside of giving Hillis a rest every once in a while, but we know how things usually turn out.

Hillis could have a crazy huge day if he's used correctly. So here's to hoping 90% of his plays aren't spent on audible shotgun draws up the middle and pass blocking.

Sports Illustrated and other websites even state Sharp is explosive on his draft profile. That's something that is never attributed to a white player.

The "face shots" of New England's starting line-ups were just displayed and they started 3 whites on defense (Gregory, Ninkovich, Vellano, along with the very white-looking Chris Jones) and 10 whites on offense (Brady, 5 OL, Gronkowski, Edelman, Amendola, and Develin).

13 white starters is the most I've ever seen in watching NFL football.

Also, it should be noted that LB Dane Fletcher is finally playing on passing downs...presumably because former 1st round Alabama bust, Donte Hightower, is simply too slow-footed, uncoordinated, and obese to play in the NFL.

Convick is back for the Eagles meaning Riley Cooper will be completely phased out of the offense again. Also, Cox got the first couple of carries.

I hate Lovie Smith and the NFL for burying Sharpe for a bunch of slugs. Smith outside of Forte literally ran slugs as backs except the good workhorse white man he called the water boy. His GMs and the Bears owners had to know what he was doing, because he brought in absolute morons to play that position and they proved it repeatedly. The last GM also knew he buried Haas, even some gimp reporter asked the GM why Haas was not played but rotted on the practice squad while literally his receiving corps could not catch a cold. And I watched the Cleveland- GB game and IMO there is now way they should start Campbell over Weeden, half the incompletions were drops, but no doubt that mysterious way of the black QB getting the best out of the black players.

Jeff Heath starting at safety for the Cowboys. He caught Calvin Johnson from behind on an 87 yard run - showed amazing speed ran past 3 black DBs and caught him.

Thad Lewis has like 3 or 4 fumbles already I believe. Scott Chandler going to be deemed raycis for not holding, I think the Bills recovered 1, but their defense looks amazing. Kyle Williams straight up bulldozing through the line, although it doesn't look like he is getting credit for the sacks? like pushing a linemen straight back into Brees and a safety come in and the safety gets the full sack? Kiko Alonso not allowing Sproles or any back to get anywhere on those screens. The Saints thought they could counter an overagressive dline by screens but Alonso is all over the field.

But of course with both teams, a corner is going to get burnt and a td bomb will happen.

i saw it on another channel, they said Johnson "ran out of steam"

Hillis slowly looking like he is getting his legs back, of course backhanded compliments. Still looks better than a lot of backs out there. Last week was horrible play calling, just straight up the gut out of shotgun. He has gotten more variety, but not much, like straight up the gut out of the i or a single back set

NE getting blown out by MIA at halftime, and Brady is 6-8, 25 yards, 1 INT. I thought that was a mis-print. He's playing far worse with all of his weapons back, than he was without them earlier this year. I cannot watch this game, so what's going on? Is the stat-line misleading or does it look like another off day for Brady so far?

For once, it has nothing to do with drops, wrong routes, or poor throws...Miami's defense is unfortunately playing extremely well. Also, the Pats have no pass rush or ability to stop the run. If I were McDaniels, I'd go no-huddle for the remainder of the game.

could be lack of chemistry, its been a while, Brady has looked off in general this year. Gronk may have been rushed back and he could be forcing it to him. I don't have the game either so I don't know.

edit: looks like its been answered, but the Pats offense used to never get stopped, you stop one guy another one gets open. The loss of Welker is bigger than people think. He was ALWAYS open.

Brady keeps trying to force the ball to Gronk from what I hear, I think he also has a swollen throwing hand.

If I was Patriot fan I would be pretty pissed. Kraft is a cheapskate. How do you not pay the guys that have gotten away? Welker,Woodhead, etc. He should be spending the money and bringing in guys....Say what you want about Steinbrenner he went out and paid for the guys he needed.. Hillis is looking good and I don't think Jacobs will replace him.

Kraft is a hands off owner, the Pats GM is who to blame for losing Welker and Woodhead.
