he took a hard hit

Edelman had more than just a hard hit. Dude was a warrior throughout the game. One the first drive his ankle got rolled up on and he was limping off the field, came back on. He got dinged up several times, but didn't it stop him from playing, he wasn't close to 100 percent for most of the game.

I was kind of hoping Collie would catch the winning td catch but oh well. I will be very upset if Rafael Bush is not fined for a helmet to helmet hit on Amendola. The only reason I know his first name is because they let him wear 25 when he came so they could keep selling what used to be Reggie Bush jerseys. Yes all of these dwfs are wearing the jersey of a nickelback, thats believable. I think thats why some dwfs get so defensive about an afflete, is because they spent like a ton on a jersey.

No one buys legit NFL jerseys anymore. The most basic ones cost over $100. A decent one with actual stitching costs over $200. A good Chinese knockoff with stitched logos, numbers and names only costs like $40.

Washington will do well in this game, they're coming off a bye. Dallas is still recovering from WW3.

RGScreen back to his old game of throwing short passes nonstop.

As someone who collects hockey jerseys (both retail authentics and game worns) I find those crappy Chinese knockoffs to be incredibly tacky looking. I cringe when I see them at hockey games. I realize not everyone wants to spend that kind of coin on a jersey but those fakes are simply pure trash. They look like they would fall apart after maybe 2 washes.

Yes, there were plenty of positives for Collie today.

A note before the game…

3:08 p.m.: Danny Amendola and Austin Collie are down on the field catching passes from Ryan Mallett. Based on Collie’s active status, it appears he has picked up the system well. He’s been talking to Brady a lot during portions of practice open to the media.

During much of the game, Collie was seen several times in the background on the sideline sipping Gatorade or standing with his helmet off.

He entered the game for the first time early in the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] quarter on a play in which Brady was sacked. He was playing the outside receiver position (in place of Dobson).

Then, on the final drive (one of the best comebacks I’ve seen in years), Collie was on the field for every play. Almost immediately, he made a 15-yard catch. Several plays later, of course, it was Collie who converted the critical 4[SUP]th[/SUP] down moments prior to Thompkins’ TD catch.

After the miraculous TD, Brady and Collie were seen on the sideline and Brady appeared to be congratulating Austin on his 2 critical catches.

If Amendola misses next week’s game against the Jets, Collie could be the beneficiary (assuming Boyce is still injured) in his stead. Amendola has been highly ineffective (likely due to his array of nagging injuries) since returning last week, so perhaps a few weeks of Collie playing could help him secure a long-term position on the squad or provide a showcase for another team to sign him in the future?

Of course, I'd prefer that Edelman, Amendola, Collie, Gronkowksi and Mulligan all finish the remaining 10 games with great stats and help this team make a deep playoff run. Like their Superbowl teams in 2001, 2003, and 2004, their offense is average and their defense is a bend-don't-break unit with no superstars, but some very respectable players (Ninkovich, Mayo, Gregory, Spikes, Dennard, Talib, and newcomers Vellano/Jones).

You got to know where to look, even if you get burned a few times before finding a good maker you're still out less than you would have been if you had bought the real deal.

Robert Griffen gets sacked, gets the 1st down given to him anyway.

Yup load of BS. The last plays to end the half were worth it though. Only have like 15 seconds on the clock and RGScreen wouldn't throw to the endzone at all. Then to cap it off he tries to run for a first down and gets tackled well short. Clock should have run out but "conveniently" the Redskins called a timeout the instant RGKnee got tackled.

Bob Costas is such a weenie. I love how dwf's have to take offense for something that has nothing to do with them.

That segment was hard to sit through. I pretty much rolled my eyes at the entire thing. I wonder what Don, Kaptain, White Lightning, or one of the other long time posters have to say about this little nugget of PC bullcrap.

The Jewish media hates that no one respects them enough to name a professional sports team after their tribe.

Robert Griffen whines like a baby for a ticky tack call and of course gets his way. Was not even hit out of bounds.

I say get rid of all Indian mascot names. European white team names and mascots only. Why honor another race?

Then after their mascots are gone we can work on eliminating their people and forget they ever walked the earth. Bob just didn't say enough.
I totally agree with him. Get rid of the redskins!

Bull**** call, not only do the refs overlook the most blatant offensive holding I've ever seen they call a Cowboys player for a personal foul for barely touching RG3 out of bounds.

The biggest reason Robert Griffen puts up even slightly decent stats is because the refs are constantly bailing him out to extend drives and erase INTs.

Collinsworth just said RG3 is a one look thrower and if his single read isn't open he runs. When did Collinsworthless start telling the truth?

Beasley with a big play for a first down. The Dallas defense needs rest.

Romo finally giving Beasley a look on this drive. Two big receptions for him.
