So Freeman is probably done for good as far as being a starting quarterback and now he's bitching about it. Way to take responsibility for your actions. Gremlin doesn't look so good so far this year. It looks like injuries are taking their toll. I expect him to be out of the league in a few years. Geno Smiff flat out sucks, Manuel has been decent thus far, Pryor is a joke, Krapernick has been figured out, hell even midget has a bad game today. His completion percentage was just about 50 percent. The black quarterbacks are coming back down to earth.

Manuel decent? Today was his 2nd game of completing under 50 percent, second straight game of 45 percent completion, except today he threw 2 picks with 167 yards. The only decent game he had was the first one, dinking and dunking, a whopping 150 yards passing, but 2 tds 0 ints with a long completion of 19.

Sean Lee with a mere 15 tackles so far, 12 unassisted, to go along with his pick six.

Another turnover by Smiff, I think it was Karl Klug who scored the defensive TD.

Woodhead's second TD came off a great audible call by Philip Rivers. He specifically wanted Woodhead to flare out to the sideline where he'd be one-on-one with Bruce Carter, who the announcer reminded us was a "great cover linebacker". Woodhead smoked him to the point he was wide open for the 13 yard reception in the endzone. If that play was on the other end of the field, it would have gone 90 yards because the safeties had pulled into the middle, and no one was catching Woodhead at that point.

Alex Smith ran for 37 yards today to bring his total up to 114 after a quarter of the season. He could double his career high of 179 rushing yards this season, one year removed from being benched for a "mobile" black quarterback. Most impressive though is that he's got the Chiefs at 4-0, while the Niners have already lost twice. Andrew Luck also hit the 100 yd rushing mark for the season today. I can't help but wonder how many other white quarterbacks are already in the league that can run with the "new breed" of QB, without the accompanying handful of turnovers every game.

Geno Smiff might be the most inept quarterback in the history of the league, and is a great fit for the Jets franchise. He just took a sack in the endzone from Karl Klug, but rather than going down (or escaping the pocket, which is what mobile quarterbacks are supposed to be able to do), he tries a Dominique Wilkins move of switching the ball to his off-hand behind his back. Of course the ball spills out and Klug falls onto it for the full six points. I am probably not explaining that well, but there will likely be plenty of replays in the future, since this play rivals the Butt Fumble in trademark incompetence.

They said that the Locker injury was a type 2 hip dislocation. Does anyone here know what that means? and how long he's going to be out?

The Broncos are a joy to watch. Welker and Decker could both have 100 yards soon witht the way this game is going. I wonder if Chip Kelly will eventually go to Foles if the Eagles continue to lose. I doubt it but if he were smart he would. They have good receivers and Nick Foles is a very accurate qb.


Manning is simply the best. Maybe of all time and I don't care that he only has one super bowl ring. It doesn't change a thing for me. The guy cannot play defense. He gets it done period.

Yep, the Eagles will go nowhere on offense with Vick. How long will Chip Kelly wait to acknowledge the obvious and change QBs? Given how bad their defense is, it looks like it's gonna be a long season if they stay with Vick.

I wanted the Eagles to be more competitive so that Peyton would throw another for another 100 yards and an additional TD or two.

Philip Rivers is having an absolutely monster game. He's hardly missed a pass and just threw a perfect 56 yard TD pass to Gates, his 200th career touchdown pass.

I remember Karl Klug had 8 sacks as a rookie DT, then barely got to play last year. Odd story there..

Two great back to back catches by Maehl. Dragged a Broncos corner for like 15 additional yards, then scores the TD. I hope that's the first of many many TDs for Foles to Maehl.

Great catch and run by Jeff Maehl, then he scored a touchdown on the next play. I thought he was Zach Ertz at first as he showed the strength and determination of a bull.

Nick Foles comes in and rather easily leads a scoring drive, with Maehl catching the TD. Vick's days should be numbered, and I believe Maehl needs to be getting more playing time.

Rivers is 35 of 41 for 401 yards and 3 TDs. He's been as accurate as can be, glad to see him back to elite status, yet another outstanding White quarterback.
