It'll be interesting what Rex Ryan does next week with Geno Smith. That was one sorry exibition of ballhandling he put on today. Maybe we'll get to see Matt Simms next week, finally.

Kris Durham led the Lions today with 3 receptions for 58 yards. Not exactly eye-popping stats, but he's another White WR who can hopefully step out there and continue to deliver if given the opportunity.

You are correct. Manuel is just another Josh Freeman. The Browns defense has been pretty solid all year. They are going to eat him alive.

The dwf's are having fun ripping Flacco for his 5 ints. they are calling him overrated. The fact is only about 2 of his turnovers were his fault the rest were tipped balls off the receivers hands.
 
The dwf's all week long were predicting the gremlin was ready to breakout this week. Well the Redskins won, but the gremlin had a lackluster game. Yeah some breakout game.
 
Danny Woodhead has a shot at 1000 combined rush/receiving yards this year if he keeps being used like the past 2 games. Hopefully they wised up after the first 2 where he barely saw action. If he can graduate to getting just 16-18 combined targets and carries he will get it easy.
 
Sean lee with a whopping 15 tackles, one interception returned for a td, and one pass defended.

The bad news is that I sat him in the lambert ff league:mmph:

Geno Smith sucks. He has two fumbles and two interceptions. He was also sacked 5 times for 50 yards.
 
Brock Osweiler moves remarkably well for a 6’ 8â€￾ guy.
 
I have to say Philadelphia move the ball reasonably well in the first half. A lot of runs were eating up yards. Not huge gains, but enough to make you think their offensive line was doing good work. Don’t know if that signals anything for Denver or Philadelphia down the line, it’s just an observation.

Glad to see Jeff Maehl get an opportunity and take advantage.

ESPN credited Lee with 18 tackles (15 solo), 1 TFL, 1 PD, 1 INT, 1 TD. I haven’t seen a player with that many tackles in a single game since LB Ben Taylor with the Browns back in 2003.

Pretty nice week thus far…

When the Steelers officially lost to the Vikings and posted their first 0-4 record in 45 years, there was a side-splitting camera shot of Dan “The Crypt Keeper of Cultural Marxism” Rooney, who appeared to be decaying with each waning, digital moment. Conversely, it was nice to see Matt Cassell and the Vikings (who sport the NFL’s whitest roster) register a win. I’ve always liked Cassell, but after leaving New England, he’s been undeniably dreadful (albeit on the atrocious Chiefs). It would be nice to see him lead the Vikings to the playoffs and resurrect his career, even if it’s at the expense of Ponder. Hopefully he can work Rudolph, Carlson, and Gerhart into the offense.

Danny Woodhead, Wes Welker, Eric Decker, Brent Celek, Garrett Graham, Owen Daniels, Coby Fleener, Kris Durham, Jeff Maehl, Sean McGrath, and the supreme “rising star” of the 2013 season, Jordan Cameron (who, as Truthteller mentioned, likely “fixed-up” his sister with Blake Griffin, for some retch-inducing reason), all had nice outings.

Tons of great defensive performances from our guys, as always.

Gregory is the only DB the Pats have who can reliably make a tackle. He's also spending a lot of time trying to herd his afflete fellow DB's into the correct formation. Patriots really need a more effective leader at MLB, either that, or to start hiring the demographic of defender that doesn't need to be corralled into position anytime the game speeds up.
 
Has Edelman had a single target?

Thompkins seems like a Garcon type, can come up with a circus catch but struggles with routine catches and plays.
 
Why does Chrissy have such a crush on Wilfork? It's obscene. Every Patriot game he calls he just goes on and on about Wilfork.
 
Sometimes I think that White athletes in football (and other sports) are "praised" with stereotypically White traits like being hard-working, dedicated, and determined, because if Whites were fairly praised with the same compliments commonly attributed to Black athletes (fast, gifted, etc.) it drives home the fact more clearly that, in general, Whites are just better all-around competitors.

I think that calling someone "gritty" and "hard-nosed" and "old-school" is a really nice compliment, but of course the media gives these compliments to Whites as if the compliments are dichotomy; ie, one cannot be high-motor and also an "electric talent."

It's just another example of ingrained, ignorant racism from the White media, because they know that if and when they call a Black athlete "gritty, hard-nosed, high-motor, lunch-pail, old school," they're doing so with more than a bit of tongue-in-cheek irony.

Black people have been stereotyped for hundreds of years as shiftless, overly-dramatic, and lazy (what—not true? come on) so of course to appease them and have something nice to say, compliments which should be given to ALL PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES as a default—fast, strong, athletic, etc., are given almost exclusively to Blacks because without them, there would be nothing else to say.

Oh, and Geno Smith is a fu*king retard.
 
The fact that the Pats could be 4-0 with a crap run game and rookie recievers just shows what a true master of the game Tom Brady is.
