Noodle Arm? So bogus. Bowe was doubled the whole game. Smith did throw the ball more than 5 yards and somehow it's a crime to not throw the ball into coverage to have it picked off? I have to wonder if any of these weenieworld clowns even bother to watch the games comment on.

Twitter was fixin' to send out a search party before noodle-armed QB Alex Smith finally found his No. 1 receiver on the Chiefs' second drive of the fourth quarter. Perhaps Bowe was well covered, but by far the biggest factor behind his near doughnut was Smith's complete unwillingness to throw the ball more than five yards down the field, or into tight coverage. It's become a running theme through the Chiefs' 3-0 start, with Bowe snagging a grand total of nine passes for 90 yards and one touchdown. He's drawn all of 15 targets. It stands to reason the Chiefs are going to start forcing the issue with their $56 million man, but for now he can't be trusted as more than a middling WR3.



 
The fans don't seem to be blaming Cooper. They seem quite unamused by mv's play according to their comments in the Philly Inquirer comment section.

Yes, it’s as if they didn’t actually watch the game and see those specific plays and they merely looked up Coopers’ “targets” and “drops” afterwards online.

The Eagles’ offense under Vick has been a massive disappointment from a Caste perspective. Cooper, Celek, and Ertz are rarely targeted, and when they are, it’s usually a poor throw while Vick is on the run, the ball gets batted/tipped, or thrown in the process of Vick being sacked. James Casey might play 3-4 offensive snaps per game. As soon as Michael “Pick” shatters his ribs (an annual celebration of his frailty dating back 4-5 seasons), Foles/Barkley can finally shine.

Speaking of pathetic injuries to black athletes...last night, LeSean McCoy dropped to the ground during a routine tackle and immediately shed his helmet, screamed in pain (he actually appeared to be crying), signaled for the trainer while grasping his shin as though he has just suffered a fractured tibia bone. Mike Mayock, who was appalling last night alongside the palatable Brad Nessler, yelled out: “Oh God, no! That doesn’t look good for Eagles fans. I feel so badly for this kid.” McCoy returned to the game several minutes later and showed no lingering effects from whatever “injury” he sustained…

I didn't watch much of the game but I did see that part when Mayock made that comment, I thought the same thing, "no separation?" If Vick throws the ball right it was a TD. It just goes to show that when you have an agenda the truth doesn't matter.

Cooper is in the crosshairs and unless he is able to put up some good numbers, hopefully with one of the other QB's it going to be very difficult for him.

The propagandists are usually more verbally astute than this. What the hell does "trout out" mean?

I think that the more outrageous they are, the more fans they wake up (though it is few). This is an outrageous example. Vick was awful, and they are obviously trying to cover for him, to the point that they are barely able to communicate in English. This is also an example of fantasy football overriding actual football. Cooper's catches per targets were down, but that doesn't tell the whole story.

There is a whole world out there of sports truisms that only about 1% of people are aware of. The "room brightening smile" said to be had by every single black athlete and zero non-blacks. The "lots of upside" comment being applied exclusively to unproven or underperforming blacks. The "Joe Sixpack" or "good hands receiver" or "gym rat" moniker being applied to every white athlete. The "deceptive speed" comment being applied to every white receiver (even if he runs a 4.5 and is the fastest receiver on the team).

But the black player writhing and screaming in agony on the field or on the court only to be back fine - with no limp - four plays later is the funniest. And it has never even been mentioned in the press.

The league is trying to prevent "fake injuries" but how exactly can they do that? Blacks have become expert at putting on Academy Award worthy performances. Of course some are ludicrous and hilarious, such as the instant injury after a d-back is beaten by a White receiver.

The DWFs have started to boo of late when a player lays on the field, but just wait until some black is flagged for a penalty for faking it but turns out to actually be hurt. That will result in an extended morality play/pity party.

I haven't watched an NFL game at the stadium in 15 years. The endless delays -- for timeouts, television timeouts (about 25 minutes worth each hour), penalties, constantly injured drama queens, plays that are challenged while the ref spends 5 minutes under the hood, etc. -- must be close to intolerable. No wonder the preferred state of the fan is to be drunk.
 
So Trent Richardson and his 3.4 yards per carry is worth a first round draft choice and is supposed to make the colts into a "real" contender. LOL. Only in the NFL.

Meanwhile, Luck's college teammate, Toby Gerhart, wastes away with a 4.3 yards per carry average on mostly inconsistent use packaged with short yardage duty.

And also meanwhile, Peyton Hillis (the guy Richardson "successfully" replaced and "outperformed") and is over 4 yards per carry career average wastes away on the bench buried deep on the depth chart. Only in the NFL.
 
One approach to fake injuries might be that any player whose real or fake injury requires time to be stopped and to be helped off the field, cannot get back into the game for a certain amount of time, such as the next change of possession or not until the next quarter. That might be a useful rule.

Make it so that only the "injured" player can be subbed out aswell. No using injuries for your substitutions.

The discussion itself is an insult. He's should be the clearest #1 overall pick ever. And here again the critics resort to mythology to criticize Manziel and assure at the very least that he will have to serve a several years long racial apprenticeship before he sees the field. That is the plan. It always has been for althletic white qbs who can and will RUN the ball.

And laughably we once again here that the mythical "throwing motion" criticism. What are some of these guys watching?

Plan A was a futile attempt to end his football career in Art Schliester like scandal. Plan B (aka the tebow plan) is to run down his nfl ability enough to drop his draft status below instant starter. He will probably get drafted behind a well established icon qb and have to wait what should be his prime running years on the bench. That's the plan. Just watch it play out.
 
They mention the average size of lineman being 6'5, Guards and Centers tend to be shorter and besides the entire line is bent down, you want to get low when blocking. Which why every White linemen is usually put down saying "more of a waist bender" when you want them to bend more at the knees, hips sunk (apprently its them damn hips again for White guys) . Linemen haven't been a problem for guys like Drew Brees or even Doug Flutie, they are good at maneuvering around and finding open lanes to throw through, Manziel is no different. And if the dline is any good they are trying to get even lower, the tackles seems to be more upright but they usually push things to the outside.
 
Manziel is 6'1. RGScreen is allegedly 6'2 but I've heard that he's actually around 6'0. Michael Pick is only 6'0. You never hear the media comment on their heights.

What a damn shame. It's most likely because they want to sign Demps for the rest of the season.


I really hope the Patriots sign him right away. He would really help that anemic running game. He could also be another target for Brady out of the back field. Hillis has great hands as he showed in Denver and in Cleveland. Another team that could really use him is Pittsburgh. I doubt they would ever sign him though as they don't ever allow even close to 10 whites on a team let alone have a star rb. If they did sign him, he could help the Steelers though as he is a Jerome Bettis type running back that could put the time of possesion in their favor.

I'd rather him be a free agent than waste away on the Gap-toothed Wigger's bench. If this league had any credibility the Browns would sign him back. He's got more in the tank than McGahee who they just signed plus Hillis was very popular there. Let him win the fans back over with his play.
