Since 2005, Michigan State has started 7, 5, 7, 10, 10, 10, 12, and 8 white starters. The Spartans look to have an increase of at least 1 white and possibly up to three white starters! Riley Bullough has been moved from LB right now, and is currently penciled in as the Spartans' starting tailback!! Michigan State looks to contend for the Big 10 Legends crown again this year, against Nebraska and their arch rivals Michigan. Some white players to look out for are: QB Connor Cook, FB Niko Palazeti, TE Paul Lang, LT Jack Conklin, C Kodi Kieler, RG Connor Kruse, and RT Michael Dennis. I think this team is getting blacker again; from the depth chart, it looks like WRs Blair White and Keith Nicol, and FS Danny Foertner will be the last respective white players at those spots for awhile.

Offense
QB- Andrew Maxwell
FB- Riley Bullough or Trevon Pendleton
TE- Andrew Gleichert
C- Jack Allen or Travis Jackson
RG- Jack Allen or Dan France
RT- Skyler Burkland

Defense
DT- Tyler Hoover
NT- James Kittredge
DE- Marcus Rush
SLB- Kyler Elsworth- in a fight for the position
MLB- Max Bullough

Great job Jack L. but in the spring game Michigan State used middle lb. Riley Bullough at tailback and he is number one on the Fall depth chart though there is expectation it will be a rb by committee as 3 true freshmen are coming in to try and take the #1 spot.

Thanks, Twinkle Toes! I just saw an article about this last night! I'll add in Bullough as the starting RB for Michigan State! I guess I'll be cheering heavily for the Spartans this year as long as Bullough gets his chance to tear it up. I hope it's not an RB by committee and that Bullough takes a strangle hold on the job.

Fantastic news. This will be the first time I've cared about the Spartans since Blair White graduated.

Still looking forward seeing 6'-2" 225 Riley Bullough's talents on display...he is just a redshirt freshman... had a shoulder injury; causing him to miss a few early Summer scrimmages...anyway

Jr. RB Jeremy Langford has been named the starter...for now...http://michiganstate.rivals.com/content.asp?cid=1542145

This was a little over a week ago...

Can still remember RB's Bobby Morse & Blake Ezor has a little kid in the 80's

From rotoworld;

Michigan State has moved redshirt freshman from RB to FB.
"When we looked at Riley and put him over there, I felt like he was a guy a little bit like (Iowa running back Mark) Weisman, he’s a little bit like (Mike) Alstott," head coach Mike Dantonio said. The Spartans could use more two running back sets moving forward.

Translation:
He's a little like alstott and weisman so were going to go ahead and move him to fullback where his touches will be severely limited. Its best for the team.

You mean a bell cow back who plays tailback? So this kid will need every "pure" tailback to catch the clap, the flu or to be ruled ineligible to get touches on Saturdays?

This really sucks. I guess I have no reason to cheer for the Spartans anymore. Now, Bullough will cancel out another white player, Pendleton. Hopefully, the Michigan State tailbacks will catch a bit of what happened at Iowa for Weisman. I guess Bullough took the blame for the Spartan's absolutely terrible offense the first part of the year, and was moved to his "racially appropriate" position.

I'll be cheering for every team in the division except for the Wolverines and Spartans now, with the way they screwed Bullough over. Northwestern, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, are all viable alternatives.
