After 3, they got down by 11, but now are within 5, with Shved scoring 8 points. Yes, Love is having another fine game with 22/16. He's already played 31 minutes and is out of the game. Don't know if they can come all the way back without him.

Kyle Korver having a good game with 19 points and extending his consecutive streak of hitting at least 1 3 pointer to around 112 straight games!

I don't know what has happened to JJ Barera but he is just not the same player he used to be. He turns it over way to much and his shooting both inside and outside is not consistant. I feel that Rubio would be the better pg in to close games out but it seems like JJ is usually end there for his scoring most of the time. As I type this JJ was just ejected. Maybe by a miracle they can pull it off but it's not looking good.

It's not looking good for this team with the way the play in the 2nd half of games and especially in the 4th quarter. Go get Jimmer. He could run the point instead of JJ. He is capable and man can he score. They need some help scoring the ball and they need to cut down on their turnovers. Very sad to watch these games slip away. Still a little time left. Maybe they can pull it out somehow.

Well said WL! Would love for them to get Jimmer! They're within 6 with 4:38 to go. Love back in and scoring quickly.

Korver 22 points.

Kevin Love with 43 pts and 19 rebounds! But the T'Wolves lose again. And Kevin Love will never get his full due until he plays on a winning team that can get to the playoffs and make an impact.

what a game! I've heard some rumors of KLove ending up as a Laker next year. I'd love to see that happen!

Yes, another night of some pretty good performances by our guys. All those guys playing well, cdb15, and as jacknyc mentioned about Love's performance, 43/19.....

others who've played well tonight...

Kyle Korver, ATL. 24 points
Kyle Singler, DET. 20/10
Gortat, WAS. 14/14
Dragic, PHX. 19 first half points.

Spencer Hawes is killing me! 20/8 one night and 4/6 the next. He could another D. Lee if he was more consistent.

No way would I want to see him on the Lakers. The LA Lakers are usually like all the other teams. They will not have very many whites for much longer. They are usually coal black and it would piss me off to see Love an a team with no other white guys. LA will not have this many whites next year or any year. This is a rare occurence. I want him to stay in Minnesota. I know it's not a big market but it can become a very popular team like the Spurs if they just start winning. Even the Thunder in Oklahoma draw good ratings nation wide because of Durant but mostly because they are one of the top 5 teams in the nba for around 5 years now. Minnesota can get into that mix but they need to find ways to close out games. The only team I would want to see him on other than the Twolves would be Phoenix or Utah but I would prefer he stays right where he is at.

How sad is it when your superstar has a monster game only for your team to lose again. What a damn shame. If they break this team up, you will never ever see another team this white in your lifetime. I wish more people on this board understood that Minnesota is even whiter than your nfl Patriots. They start 4 whites sometimes out of 5 players and 3 guys off the bench are white. That is why it kills me when they lose because it plays into the stereotypes that whites cannot play basketball. They got rid of their toughness and even the other point guard at least could shoot consistantly. All of those guys are gone. If would have been healthy last year they would have been scary good with their shot blocking ability of the 3 white centers they had. Damn I'm bummed out. I need a beer!

I applaud Kevin Love for playing his heart out. I feel so bad for the guy as he wants to win more than the whole team put together.

Dragic is amazing and he is making all of the critics and non all star voters look stupid. Go Phoenix Suns!

Only one game today, Magic vs Celtics. Nikola Vucevic had 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Probably would have been more worth watching than the Super Bowl.

The Suns are trying to make a trade of injured center Okafor for Gasol of the Lakers. Pau Gasol is averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds a game. This would be a steal for the Suns if they can make it happen. Gasol may be older but they can get him for cheap and maybe make a deeper run into the playoffs. I hope it happens.

Very quiet last night in the NBA. Some of our guys disappeared, SB hangover I guess.

However, there were some decent performances....

Dirk, DA. 23/8, didn't play his normal mins. in a blowout win.

Teletovic, BR. 20 points

Valnciunas, TO. 18/9

Vucevic, OR. 16/13. continues to play well since his injury.

Hawes, PH. 8/8/6. I mention him because he should have better numbers than this, he shot a huge 7 times in 35 minutes!

.....and of course Jimmer did his usual damage in a limited number of minutes. He had 11 points and 4 assists in 10:56.

Hawes is having his best year of his career. The 6 assists was a team high. That tells me 2 things. That Hawes is a willing and able passer for a center. The other thing, is that he is on a team with ball-hogs that lack distributing guards who can set him up for more shots and some easy baskets.

In an ideal scenario, this "breakout year" will give him a chance to go to a good team in need of a center next year.

WL, totally agree with the spirit of what you are saying. 300%.

However, would I rather have Love languish on a mediocre team that can't get it's sh#t together for the next 5 years or on a Lakers championship team (placing him saliently in the national limelight ala a Larry Bird) even if he was the only white starter (but the clear Alpha)?

If I had a crystal ball, and those were the two options, certainly we'd all go with the second one. Of course, no one has a crystal ball.

Here's Max Kellerman arguing that Love is not a star that could bring the Lakers a national championship. Meanwhile a brother(!!!!) disagrees and shows that he is far more objective than Kellerman. Wow! When bias trumps objective analysis. He even goes so far to claim Chris Bosh is better than Love. Are you kidding me?

I think this turd once said the Klitschkos would never be world champions…OOOOOOPPPPPPSSSS! Haha. He should say more what appears to be true as opposed to what he hopes to be true. Poor guy. Indoctrinated from an early age. And its humiliating how far he goes to kiss the feet of blacks even if he is ultimately motivated by a hatred of whites, rather than a love of blacks. You're a worm kid. But you didn't have a choice in the matter.

The Twolves play the Lakers tonight at home. After two consecutive losses nothing else needs to be said about this games importance. The schedule is not very friendly as the play OKC next. Nash and Blake are both finally gonna play tonight. Minnesota has bad luck I swear. These guys have been out for a very long time and they pick tonight to return to action. None the less Minnesota needs a win. I would like to see them stick with Rubio more in the 4th quarter. He makes everyone around him better. I know he is a below average shooter but they play better when he is on the court both offensively and on defense as well. Kevin Love is coming off a 42 point game in a loss and he has to be wondering what more he can do. Keep your head up guys. There is still time to turn this around. Hope Pek is back soon.

Good to see Kaman back for LA. I forgot they had Kelly from Duke on the Lakers. He has actually looked pretty good. I can't believe how white the Lakers are. It's strange to watch. It would be great if they kept this team together but I doubt that will happen. Minnesota looks really good so far. Rubio has had some amazing passes.

Blake, Nash, Kelly, and Kaman all playing together, now if Gasol was playing.... an all white Laker 5 playing at the same time, we must have died and went to heaven.

Yeah the Lakers look like the old Minn. Lakers. Haha.

The Twolves are up by over 20 now. Don't let up guys. I've seen them blow big leads too many times this year. I was very happy to see the report that they are going to build a new practice facility across the street which will also have a Mayo Clinic there. Great news and no one is happier about it than Kevin Love. Maybe he will consider staying for at least one more year. I hope so. I still would like to see Jimmer take over for JJ Barera next year. Also if Jimmer was that good he could become a starter and bring Rubio off the bench. Either way it would be a win/win situation.

0 points for Rubio. The problem is that he can't score points, he his FG % is like.325 by far one of the worst in the league. The new strategy is for teams to force Rubio to take the shot.

Speaking of the Lakers, they had a nice and interesting win last night. Going into the game they only had 8 healthy / dressed players. During the game, injuries to Nick Young and Jordan Farmar brought them down to 6. Later, Chris Kaman fouled out so they dropped to the minimum. Finally, Robert Sacre fouled out, but as per the rule, he could stay in but any additional fouls would result in a technical free throw each time. Despite all this, the Lakers won behind 26 points and 6 rebounds from Ryan Kelly. He's been a great 2nd round pick. The other star was Steve Blake who recorded his 1st career triple double: 11 points (including 3 pointers to ice the game), 10 rebounds and 15 assists! He thoroughly outplayed all-star Kyrie Irving with a +16 to Irving's -25.

If the Lakers had a healthy Nash, Gasol and Bryant they would be a competitive and White-friendly team to support.

Despite three of the starting five missing last night and the Wolves losing, I wanted to point out that Ricky Rubio had 19 points. Hopefully this will help the kids confidence. Kelly did look great last night. I've followed him since his Duke days. Still want to see a Jimmer trade with less than two weeks until the trade deadline. Maybe a Gasol to Phx trade too.
