The U of A Wildcats knocked off over hyped Duke by six points. I love seeing Duke get handed their second loss despite they media hype and referees trying to do everything to help them win. AZ looks good. McConnell is such a good all around point guard and Kaleb T. is a monster at center. I don't think anyone can stop this guy. He creates so many matchup problems at 7'1 inches tall and he is strong. He reminds me a little of a taller version of Gronkowski on the basketball court. Just another of many Proud Polish Warriors!

Great news about all-black duke losing to a pretty white friendly Arizona.

That's great news about Duke losing! I was watching most of that game, and like WL, I was very impressed by Arizona's two white starters last night, especially McConnell.

Also, over Thanksgiving, we've had some great performances by our white athletes on the basketball court.

On Thanksgiving, Butler beat all-black Washington State in the Old Spice Classic 76-69, with Kellen Dunham pouring in an Old Spice Classic Record 32 points (9-14 from the field, and 8-9 from the charity stripe) against the Cougars. Washington State simply could not stop Dunham down the stretch, with Dunham sinking several clutch threes in the last couple of minutes of the game. Kellen Dunham is very fun to watch; he has ice in his veins. This kid can make some very tough and clutch shots, and also knows how to drive the lane and draw the foul.

Yesterday, Butler gave No. 5 Oklahoma State and media darling Marcus Smart all they could handle in a 69-67 loss. The Bulldogs held the Cowboys to 3 points in the last 8 minutes or so of the game, clawing their way back in, and missing several opportunities to take the lead down the stretch. The great defense by Butler was clearly very frustrating to Smart and co, with the Bulldogs forcing several turnovers to get themselves back into the game. Kellen Dunham only had 9 points, but 6 of those points came with under 2 minutes left in the 2nd half, and brought the Bulldogs storming back. Alex Barlow had himself a nice game, scoring a career high 12 points, to go with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and NO turnovers. Butler plays all-black LSU on Sunday.

Doug McDermott of Creighton has also had a nice couple of games on Thursday and Friday. In dismantling the Sun Devils Thursday, scoring 27 points in the Bluejay's 88-60 win. It was the same story on Friday for McDermott, who played nearly the whole game against San Diego State. Despite his 30 points keeping them in the game, McDermott and Creighton came up short against the Aztecs, losing 88-80.

I was very impressed with McDermott last night. He was being doubled almost every time he touched the ball and scored 30 of the toughest points you'll see.

I finally figured out why Andrew Wiggins is the most hyped up basketball player since Lebron James. He's Canadian!!!

They want to turn him into a Michael Jordan, Mohammed Ali type of superstar for White Canadians to worship. The Jews handbook never changes, they use the same trick in every White country.

It's been awhile since a college hoops update, but I'll try to get all of our guys' great performances from Sunday until today. Feel free to add to this if I missed anything.

Sunday
Although Butler lost to LSU, the Bulldog's white back court really shined, with Kellen Dunham scoring a team high 20 points, while also pulling down 6 rebounds. Point Guard Alex Barlow really impressed me Sunday. Despite being a 5'11'' former walk-on, he almost led the team in rebounding, pulling down 10(!), while scoring 9 points and dishing out 4 assists in addition to 2 steals. I'll say it again, Barlow is really improving and coming into his own this year for Butler.

Also on Sunday, the Tar Heels lose again, this time to UAB! The Blazer's two white players did not do very much in the win, however. Alihodzic did pull down a game-high 13 boards, however.

The Shocker's play-making guard, Ron Baker, had himself another great game as Wichita St. held of St. Louis. Baker had a game-high 22 points while shooting 70% from the field!! He also shot 6/7 from the free-throw line. Baker makes this team watchable, despite being the only white player who gets a significant amount of minutes. He has become "the guy" so far this year for the Shockers.

Phil Forte led Oklahoma St. in scoring off the bench again against Memphis, scoring 19 points.

I don't know how many of you know this, but Memphis has a white player this year, in freshman forward Austin Nichols. He has already taken over a starting spot for the Tigers, and had 9 points, 5 rebounds, and a block in the Tiger's win.

Monday

Cal's David Kravish had himself a nice night, getting a double double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.


Tuesday

There were some nice performances by our guys last night. There was a nice game last night between Notre Dame and Iowa. In total, 5 white athletes got the start (2 for ND, 3 for Iowa), and there were often 6-7 whites on the court, so it was a fun game to watch. Iowa prevailed in a high scoring affair, 98-93. Iowa's white players played great, with Aaron White leading the team in scoring with 20 points, in addition to 7 rebounds(a team high) and 7 assists. Off the bench, Wisconsin transfer Jarrod Uthoff played great as well, tying for second on the team with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Mike Gesell played nice as well, scoring 10 points, and getting 5 boards.

The star of the game, however, came from the Irish in center Garrick Sherman. Sherman played great last night, scoring a career high 29 points, which kept the Irish in the game, in addition to grabbing 9 boards. It's great to see Sherman starting to blossom, hopefully, this is the start of a great year for him.

Speaking of stars, Syracuse two guard Trevor Cooney is rapidly becoming one for the Syracuse Orange. Cooney alone makes Syracuse worth watching, and last night, he did not disappoint. Cooney is not just a great shooter, this kid can drive the lane and make cuts as well, in addition to having the hops to slam the ball down as well. He is also a great defender, as he had 4 steals last night. Cooney scored a game high 21 points as well. This kid is amazing to watch. Yet Dan Dakich (I believe) said last night that Syracuse's backcourt of Cooney and Ennis (a mulatto freshman point guard who is very good) "prepares very well for the games. They are not as athletic or as long as Michael Carter-Williams and Brandon Triche, (their back court last year) but they make up for it with great hand-eye coordination.":dodgy: I've never heard that one before. I suppose then that their hand-eye coordination is the sole reason why both of these guys are very quick, and why Cooney can dunk the ball?

There are some interesting games on tonight as well. Wisconsin-Virginia is the main game that should interesting us, with a Top-10 team in the Badgers starting for white players, and Virginia starting 3 (maybe; I'm not sure about Parrantes, who looks Hispanic, but still white enough where DWFs wouldn't like him). Regardless, it should be a great game, and the Cavs still have 2 great white players in Joe Harris and Mike Tobey.

Two more very caste matchups are on as well: New Mexico vs. New Mexico State, and Boston College vs. Purdue.

I know in the NM-NMSU game it's 3 white starters for New Mexico (0 for NMSU) and 3 for BC vs. 0 for Purdue.

Purdue has come a long ways from the days of Chris Kramer and Robbie Hummel. They play exactly 0 white men for any significant minutes. Go BC!!

Jack, I watched most of the Iowa / ND game and boy was it exciting. White guys making big play after play. I felt like I time traveled back to the 1950s. Iowa is probably in my top 3 teams of rooting interest, along with BYU and Wisconsin. White, Gessel and Uthoff are exciting players. The only guy I was under-impressed with was Woodbury the center. For a 4 star recruit, he needs to step up and become a force inside. Iowa would be that much more deadly. Anyway, here's the highlights which display White's (Aaron that is:bigsmile athleticism. All of Iowa's highlights are White men.

Iowa is a fun team to watch IF (and note that is a BIG if) Marble isn't hogging the ball. he's the media-declared "leader" of the team, but in reality he's just a volume scorer. he takes a lot of shots to get his points, and it frequently kills the offensive flow for the Hawkeyes. in yesterday's game, the commentators kept asking how it was possible for Iowa to be putting up so many points when Marble wasn't scoring … he still managed to chuck it more than any other player on the team before the game concluded (it's not uncommon for him to take more shots than the rest of the starting lineup combined. yikes!). in reality, the offense is better when he's not jacking up a lot of shots. he's a good player, but he's not the superstar he thinks himself to be.

in my mind, their best lineup is Gessel at the point, Marble at the two, with Uthoff and White running the wings as big, long, high-flying threes (Uthoff is a helluva skilled player! especially for his size), and McCabe as the 4. he's much more physical, aggressive, and skilled than the 7-foot Woodbury, and he doesn't pick up as many cheap fouls. this lineup is long and can really run and everyone on the floor can shoot it. the black dudes for the Hawkeyes are all interchangeable high-energy guys who are solid contributors, but i'd have them come off the bench because of their lack of offensive skill. they do play hard, though.

Belmont, and their nearly-all-White roster, continues to play good basketball, led by outstanding guard/forward J.J. Mann. last night in the Bruins' most recent win, Mann went for game-highs of 32 points (7-15 shooting, 14-16 from the free throw line), 7 rebounds, and 4 steals with only 1 turnover in 39 minutes. in ten games, Mann has scored in double digits 8 times and has scored 20 or more 5 times. he's a terrific player that gets virtually no media recognition.

Mitch McGary was unstoppable in the Michigan loss to Duke, but he didn't get nearly enough touches. he finished with 15 points (6-10 shooting) and a game-high 14 rebounds with only 1 turnover in 27 minutes. as i've said before, though, Michigan struggles when Stauskas is not a focal point of their offense. Duke (and his teammates) held him to just 2 shot attempts in 34 minutes.

perhaps white lightning's favorite current collegiate point guard, T.J. McConnell, had another strong outing for Arizona. the junior had 10 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 blocked shot with just 3 turnovers in a win over Texas Tech.

Arizona, as has been mentioned before, starts two White athletes, and features one more prominently off the bench.

BYU has bounced back from their loss to #12 Wichita State with two strong performances, the most recent a destruction of North Texas. the Cougars dropped 97 on the so-called Mean Green, led by Tyler Haws' 23 (on a sparkling 9-12 from the floor). Kyle Collinsworth and Eric Mika each added 17 points with Collinsworth adding 5 boards and 6 assists and Mika snagging 11 rebounds. Nate Austin grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds, blocked a game-high 3 shots and added 10 points. Skyler Halford poured in 16 off the bench. starting point guard Matt Carlino had 10 rebounds and 10 assists but he had an abysmal 7 turnovers. ouch!

and one last thing … did anyone mention Christophe Varidel dropping 42 on Baylor in the opening game of the Maui Invitational? the FGCU transfer hit 10 three-pointers and was simply on fire for Chaminade.

i've only seen his name mentioned once on the forums (and that was by me), but there is a VERY underrated player that deserves mention more frequently …

Brian Voelkel of the Vermont Catamounts is perhaps a singular talent in collegiate Division I basketball. Voelkel is the best passer, rebounder, AND defender in the America East Conference.

ever since he set foot on campus (he was the conference Rookie of the Year and a Freshman All-American), the 6-foot-6 guard/forward has been a truly unique player. he's not an explosive leaper or incredibly quick, but he has superior court vision and ball skills, and with his imposing physical strength (which allows him to create space and play through contact) he simply makes plays like possibly no one else in the country. the combination of his rebounding prowess, playmaking ability with the pass, and defensive presence is peerless.

despite his size (6-foot-6, 210 pounds), every year that he's played for Vermont Voelkel has finished either first or second in the American East conference in both rebounding and assists, and he's also been among the league leaders in steals, twice being named All-Defensive team.

he currently sits at #10 nationally in assists (6.6 per game) while averaging 8.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals. despite shooting over 50% from the floor, he only takes about 4 shots per game.

like i said, he's blessed with a very unique set of talents.

The top scorer in the entire D1 on opening night was a White man, Anthony Drmic of Boise State.

The Australia native had 34 points in only 27 minutes while adding 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Overall Boise is a White friendly team to root for.

Anthony Drmic is another vastly underrated player. through 7 games for the Broncos, Drmic has surpassed 20 points 4 times and has scored in double digits 6 times, and he's doing it while shooting nearly 50% from the floor.

additionally, the wing is one of the better defenders in the nation. he averages a shade more than 2.7 steals-per-game, which is good for #15 in the country.

he currently leads Boise State in scoring (20.4 ppg) and steals (2.7), is second in rebounding (5.1 rpg), and is a decent passer.

he's also pretty explosive …

i saw him play once back when he was an overwhelmed freshman, but apparently he's come a long way since then. "he" is Southeast Missouri's Lucas Nutt.

Nutt, now a senior and the floor leader for the Redhawks, is an interesting case of how things frequently work within the Caste System. standing 6-foot-1 and not spectacularly gifted with physical tools, Nutt is still a solid collegiate player. BUT, you see, he has a scholarship to play Division I ball solely because his dad is the head coach of SEMO.

otherwise being a short, relatively non-explosive White kid, he'd have been just another good high school player who was completely ignored by the so-called experts of "talent" "evaluation." you can tell this by the fact that he wasn't recruited by any other program.

this overwhelmingly-ignored-turned-playmaking player actually ranks #11 in the nation in assists (6.5 apg) and does so with a fantastic assist-to-turnover ratio (3.45 to 1). recently Nutt was named Ohio Valley Conference player of the week, which brought him to my attention and inspired this post.

just think, he wouldn't even be on a college basketball court if his dad didn't provide the proper Caste credentials. such is the System we're documenting, folks.

I did forget about that loyalty factor for a minute, Carolina. With that, and his getting at least some playing time, I think he will stay on with Duke, despite them signing the "best" center for next year's class. If he does want any chance to be drafted like his brothers were though, his best shot is away from Duke. He needs to leave this year IMO if he wants any shot of being drafted.

Also, there's a huge caste match up being played right now: BYU's nearly all-white team playing at nearly all-black UMASS. This should be a very, very fast paced game, as both teams love to run. I think it's on the CBS Sports Network, so I can't watch it.

Even though the BCS National Championship will have a couple of Black QBs, our white athletes on the hardwood played great today.

Despite their loss, BYU's backcourts mates Matt Carlino and Tyler Haws both played outstanding today. Carlino started off a bit slow, but got going as BYU was trying to comeback in the 2nd half. Carlino finished with 23 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds. Haws led the Cougars in scoring again with 25 points. The third guard in the back court, Kyle Collinsworth, had a nice game as well, finishing with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Eric Mika had a solid outing too, with 18 points and 8 rebounds.

No. 8 Wisconsin remained undefeated today as well, outlasting Marquette 70-64. This team is so hard to stop, as (I believe it has been mentioned) any of the Badgers are threats to score, as all 5 Wisconsin starters were in double figures today. Sam Dekker lead the charge with 20 points, and also grabbed a game high 10 rebounds. Ben Brust had 13 points, Frank Kaminsky had 11, and Josh Gasser had 10. This team is fun to watch, and they play some stiffling defense as well, holding Virginia to just 38 points earlier this week.

Butler picked up an easy win over North Dakota tonight, 79-64. Kellen Dunham had an outstanding game for the Bulldogs, pouring in 29 points on 9/15 shooting (6/6 FT's) in addition to 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Dunham is very fun to watch; when this kid is on, he can't miss. He makes some incredible shots at times, and simply can't be guarded when his shot is falling.

No. 2 Arizona held off all-black UNLV tonight, with Kaleb Tarczewski and TJ McConnell both having nice games, especially McConnell. Tarczewski finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds in 30 minutes, outplaying his more hyped-up frontcourt mate, "Freshman phenom" Aaron Gordon, who finished with a paltry 4 points, but did do some work on the glass, with 8 boards as well. I didn't watch the game, but McConnell looked like he had a great game, with tying for the team lead in scoring with 13 points. In addition, McConnell snagged 7 boards, and dished out 6 assists, and had 3 steals, all with just 1 turnover!!

Syracuse's fleet-footed guard Trevor Cooney had another nice game, with 17 points, 4 steals, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block. Cooney alone I feel makes Syracuse worth watching.

New Mexico beat the all-black Bearcats of Cincinnati tonight as well, 63-54. The Lobo's bigs simply dominated the Bearcats. Cameron Bairstow was one of the reasons why, scoring a game high 24 points, and pulling down a game high 13 rebounds, to go with 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Alex Kirk had a decent game too, 2nd on the team with 15 points and pulling down 6 boards.

All in all, I'd say a pretty good day for our guys on the hardwood.

nice recaps, Jack. i think BYU's defense, which had been very strong of late, let 'em down against UMass. the Minutemen shot over 50% from the floor for the game. it's hard to win when your opponent is connecting like that.

Marshall Henderson finally had a breakout performance for Ole Miss this season, as he went for 39 points against #13 Oregon. Ole Miss fell short in overtime, but Henderson hit 10 of 23 three-pointers during the contest.

Doug McDermott went for 33 points (shooting over 50% from the floor, going 12-23) and 8 rebounds in a blowout win over a very dark Nebraska team. Ethan Wragge added 16 points and a game-high 9 rebounds. Grant Gibbs had 8 assists and 8 points.

it's a lackluster next couple of days for collegiate basketball, but there are a couple of interesting match ups.

today, Iowa and Notre Dame will each take their turns gobbling up cupcakes.

tomorrow, Gonzaga (with the nation's best offensive attack) heads down to coal mining West Virginia. the formerly-very-White Mountaineers start two White athletes in the shot-blocking frosh Nathan Adrian and junior post Kevin Noreen, but they rarely get to touch the ball unless they snag a rebound. while both average around 20 minutes of action, they're primarily role is to play good defense and screen for the "real" talents of the proper hue. despite starting every game this season, these two are the 7th and 8th "leading" scorers.

Gonzaga is currently 8-1 on the young season, and have scored 80 or more points in every victory their lone loss was against Dayton, who held them to a season-low 79.

a second matchup tomorrow that will likely be a blowout, but could prove to be a huge Caste upset, is the Boise St. - Kentucky game. the Broncos, led by the explosive Anthony Drmic, head down to Rupp Arena to take on the #3 Blackcats.

finally, one of the top scorers in the nation, Anthony "Darth" Bader, heads down to Indiana to take on the Hoosiers. Bader's Oakland team isn't very good, but he's an exciting offensive player. Indiana is much darker than in recent years, but they still feature the high-flying, versatile Will Sheehey.

To recap some of the games you've talked about from Monday and Tuesday:

Monday

Iowa had an easy time with instate rival Fairleigh Dickinson, beating them 92-59. As a result of the lopsided score, everybody played fairly even minutes and the scoring was fairly distributed among the players. Jarrod Uthoff and Zach McCabe led the Hawkeyes' white contigent with 10 points apiece, Uthoff adding 10 rebounds for a double double.

Notre Dame had a more difficult time putting down Bryant, needing to pull away late to win 70-59. Both Pat Connaughton and Garrick Sherman had nice games for the Irish. Connaughton finished second on the team in scoring with 17 points, while working the boards for 11 rebounds. Garrick Sherman also had a double double, finishing with 14 points and a game high 13 rebounds. Notre Dame seems to be having trouble this year for whatever reason, playing the likes of Bryant and Delaware close, and losing to Indiana State at home. They will need to get better to have any chance of competing in the ACC.

Butler had an easy cupcake Monday as well, crushing Div. 3 opponent Manchester 100-41. Kellen Dunham again led the Bulldogs in scoring with 15 points in only 19 minutes. As with Iowa, many Bulldogs got into the game, and as a result, nobody had a very big day.

Tuesday

Gonzaga got a great win tonight over the mostly-black "Mountaineers" of West Virginia, 80-76. Kevin Pangos was on fire down the stretch for the Bulldogs, draining I believe at one point 3 straight 3's to finally put the Bulldogs over the top in the 2nd half. Pangos finished with 18 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds. Polish big man Przemek Karnowski held the Zags together when they were struggling to score, playing some great defense and grabbing some crucial rebounds. Karnowski finished with a team high 19 points, a game high 13 boards, and 2 blocks.

Boise State could not hang with Kentucky tonight, but Anthony Drmic did his best to keep the Broncos in the game, leading Boise with 18 points. The Broncos had no inside game whatsoever tonight, with Kentucky's big man Cauley-Stein getting 9 blocks. Drmic's black teammate Derrick Marks did nothing to help except give Cauley-Stein a couple of his blocks by driving the lane and throwing up terrible shots. Marks horrible shot selection was even noticed by Jay Bilas, who at one point said "Marks' teammates have to be upset with him over some of these terrible shots he's been taking." Boise's other white players, Elorriaga and Hadziomerovic did not do very much tonight, yet the Broncos only lost by 15 on the road, 70-55.

As Jimmy mentioned in the posts above, there is not much in the way of college basketball this week so far.

it was clear that he was the best athlete on the floor for the Broncos (and perhaps the only player not intimidated by playing in Rupp?), so maybe the Boise coaching staff should target more players like Drmic in the future rather than signing the obviously inferior (third or fourth tier caliber) black players on their roster. those dudes are terrible and will never provide the building blocks for a better program. guys like Drmic, on the other hand, would obviously be exciting to watch and hungry to beat the big boys after not being recruited by higher profile schools. this recruiting strategy worked for Boise's football team and several basketball teams of note (including but not limited to nearby programs Gonzaga and Washington State). why more mid- and lower level programs don't take this approach would befuddle me, if i didn't understand the Caste System.

as an aside, Washington State eschewed the hungry White kid strategy when head coach Tony Bennett left, and now they have fallen from a Top-5 ranked team to complete crap.

Boise State's Anthony Drmic had a nice dunk over Kentucky's Julius Randle in last night's game.

That was an awesome jam by Drmic! I noticed that about Washington State when they were playing Butler in the Old Spice Classic. I knew they were getting blacker, but I didn't think they completely eschewed white players from playing big roles. When you mentioned them just now, I went back and found one of your old posts on them (linked at the bottom of this), and noticed that one point, they had 4-5 white starters, and like you said, were Top 5. I looked, and I believe they only have 4 white kids on their roster this year, with 1 who plays at all. Like you said, they've fallen so far off the map that a trip to the Tourney appears completely out of the questions yet again this year. The Cougars need to get back to playing their white guys!

There was an interesting game on tonight I got to watch some of, a big caste matchup in New Jersey between Rutgers (who only have one white bench warmer on their whole team) and Princeton. The Tigers start 4 white men and always had 4 white men on the floor when I was watching tonight. In addition to the four white starters, two out of the three men off the bench were also white! (The black guy off the bench only played 3 minutes). Princeton is a very fun team to watch, in that all five of their starters average double figures! They are very unselfish on offense, and execute their gameplan to perfection, getting a lot of good looks, and some easy buckets tonight. Well, in this battle of New Jersey, the Tigers prevailed over the sorry Scarlet Knights, 78-73. The score is much closer than it looks; Rutgers shot out of it's mind in the early 2nd half (9/10 from the field to start the half!) to keep the game as close as it was. True to form, 4 out of the 5 Tiger starters were in double figures. As I mentioned, Princeton is VERY unselfish; out of 25 made baskets tonight, there were 18 assists! Princeton loves to shoot the three (34 out of 51 shots were from beyond the arc; everybody on the court for the Tigers can shoot it from deep) but one of their big men gives them a nice inside game.

The Tiger's captain and leader, dynamic Point Guard TJ Bray led the team with 23 points on 7-11 shooting (4-4 from the line). Even the announcers were raving about how good this kid is. He has a nice shot, and is a great passer (8 assists). I'm glad I got to see him play tonight.

The other white starters for the Tiger played well tonight too. The frontcourt is led by German forward Hans Brase, who tied for 2nd on the team in scoring with 2 others at 14 points. I thought Brase and his frountcourt mate, Denton Koon (who also had 14 points), played some nice defense against Rutgers' bigs tonight. Koon is the big man I referenced above, with his (and Brase's at times) presence in the paint helping Princeton stay somewhat balanced on offense. The other two white players to see major minutes were starting forward Will Barrett, and forward Spencer Wiesz got 29 minutes off the bench. Pete Miller also had 4 minutes off the bench.

Princeton is now 7-1 after their win tonight, with their only loss being by 3 to a very good Butler squad. They are off to their best start in over 10 years! Hopefully, these guys will be able to beat a way too black Harvard squad for the Ivy League Title and an NCAA Tourney bid. If you have a chance to watch these guys, I'd definitely recommend taking it.

I figured I'd highlight some games this weekend for CFers to watch, if you haven't seen some of our guys:

Friday

Iowa vs. Iowa State - 9:30 Eastern/ 8:30 Central, ESPNU
As with state caste match ups the past week, we have another tonight in Iowa vs. Iowa State. Iowa has three white starters in point guard Mike Gesell, the explosive Aron White, and 7-0 center Adam Woodbury. They also give PT to Jarrod Uthoff and Zach McCabe most prominently off the bench. Iowa State has one white starter and they only white who sees minutes in freshman Matt Thomas.

P.S. - We won the other two state caste match ups so far, with nearly all-white Princeton beating Rutgers, and Doug McDermott and Creighton destroying all-black Nebraska.

Saturday

Arizona vs. Michigan - 12 PM Eastern/11 AM Central, CBS

This is another game that all CFers should be watching. Both teams start to great white players who are integral to their teams success, and both give playing time to one more white off the bench. For Arizona, dynamic point guard TJ McConnell and athletic big man Kaleb Tarczewski are the white athletes who get the start, with Gabe York seeing a few minutes off the bench.

We all know that Nik Stauskas and Mitch McGary start for Michigan with Spike Albrecht playing off the bench. Max Bielfeldt may also see some minutes for the Wolverines.

Princeton vs. Penn State 2 PM Eastern/ 1 PM Central, Big Ten Network

From my post above, Princeton starts 4 white men, and plays two more off the bench in their 8-man rotation right now. Penn State starts one white, and plays 2 more off the bench.

Notre Dame vs. Indiana 3:15 PM Eastern/ 2:15 PM Central, ESPN

Notre Dame starts 2 whites in Pat Connaughton and Garrick Sherman, both of whom will score points. The Irish feature two more very prominently off the bench in Tom Knight and Austin Burgett. Indiana starts only Will Sheehey, but gives around 5-10 off the bench to Luke Fischer, Collin Hartman, and Austin Etherington.

Purdue vs. Butler 6 PM Eastern/ 5 PM Central, Big Ten Network

A very sharp contrast between these two teams. Apparently, Purdue has already forgotten the great success of it's white players like Robbie Hummel and Chris Kramer, and they play absolutely NO white players at all this year. Not surprisingly, Purdue has lost it's only two games so far against teams that are any good, and playing several supposed cupcake teams very close.

Butler on the other hand, continues to play the white athletes this year who have put them on the map. Kellen Dunham is one of the best shooters in the country, and if you haven't seen him play, I'd tune in to this game. Jimmy and I have commented on him earlier in the thread as well. Alex Barlow starts at the point for Butler, and Eric Fromm starts down low. The Bulldogs play three more white athletes off the bench at times, with guard Jackson Aldridge, and big men Nolan Berry and Andrew Chrabascz getting some time as well.

New Mexico vs. Kansas 7 PM Eastern/ 6 PM Central, ESPN2

New Mexico and it's three white starters going up against Kansas, who don't play any whites for any significant minutes at all. Great big men Alex Kirk and Cameron Bairstow start for the Lobos in addition to guard Hugh Greenwood. Cullen Neal will also come off the bench and play starters minutes most nights.

BYU vs. Utah 10 PM Eastern/ 9 PM Central, PAC-12 Network

BYU's all-white starting five led by the dynamic backcourt of Matt Carlino, Tyler Haws, and Kyle Collinsworth up against another case of a team largely forgetting the players that put them on the map. The Utes have one white starters, and give 5-10 minutes to three other white players. Go Cougars!!


Some of our other teams in action this Friday and Saturday are Wisconsin, who's playing a cupcake, Florida Gulf Coast plays Samford, Ron Baker and Wichita St. play Tennessee on ESPN2 Saturday at 2 PM Eastern. Arizona St. and their 3 white starters with I think 1-2 more off the bench play HBCU Grambling as well. Boise St. and St. Mary's play on the ROOT network Saturday too, whatever that is.

Also, in the ultimate caste matchup- BYU and their all-white starting 5 destroyed HBCU Prarie View A&M 100-52 this week as well!

With this being the first big weekend in college hoops, I thought I'd give CFers who haven't been following College Basketball much yet a guide to some of our games on this weekend.
