One of the most white friendly teams in the nation Wisconsin looks to continue its tradition of playing white athletes. Last year Wisconsin had 14 white starters and they had a great year with a few tough losses. This year Wisconsin looks to start 16 white players. Some guys to keep an eye on for playing time are; QB Joel Stave, TE Brian Wozniak, T Robert Burge, Tyler Marz, G Kyle Costigan, DE's Tyler Dippel, Konrad Zagzebski, DT Jordan Kohout, LB Connor O'Neil, and Safety Michael Caputo!

Offense

QB- Danny O'Brien RSJr. 6'3 215

WR- Jared Abbrederis Jr. 6'2 180

WR-Jordan Frederick RsFr. 6'3 215

TE- Jacob Pedersen Jr. 6'4 242

LT- Ricky Wagner Sr. 6'6 322

LG- Ryan Groy Jr. 6'5 320

C- Travis Frederick Jr. 6'4 328

RG- Casey Dehn Jr. 6'6 334

RT- Rob Havenstein So. 6'8 340

Defense

DE- Pat Muldoon Jr. 6'3 258 *Tyler Dippel will be in the rotation and I expect DT Jordan Kohout to be in the rotation at DT as well!

DE- Brendan Kelly Sr. 6'6 255

DT- Beau Allen Jr. 6'3 323

DT- Ethan Hemer Jr. 6'6 305

OLB- Mike Taylor Sr. 6'2 225

THIS is a team to cheer for! Those are BYU type numbers of our people starting.

I second that! No black quarterback makes this team much more likeable than last year. Who do we root for when the Badgers face the Cornhuskers?

Wow, Wisconsin is really a team to look out for. I really am expecting big things out of Danny O'Brien. Really happy to see an all white front-7 on defense as well.

It will be interesting to see how many of the other 123 BCS teams can match the Badgers all white front 7??

Ricky Wagner looks to be another stud OT this school seems to produce more & more of!

Wisconsin has been one of the whiter of the top 25 teams for a while now. Not only on offense but on defense as well.

It's nice to be able to cheer the home team again, with the magical negro QB gone. Do we have a word for an all White D-line to go with the Snow Patrol (and Snow Plow on offense!)?

Here's hoping for another Big Ten title and a national championship!

I guess you would call it a Whiteout, Blizzard, or a Snow Storm. Maybe an all White dline a Snow Storm but a White dline and all White linebackers is a Blizzard?

As far as them vs the Cornhuskers, I am going to have to root for the team with Rex Burkhead so he gets more media attention, I can see the media claiming Montee Ball carried the team on his back going through gaping holes

a few years ago, the Kentucky Wildcats had an all-White receiving corps. their black teammates, especially the defensive backs, called them the Snow Storm (for the obvious reasons of them being White and unstoppable). that was back when Kentucky was putting up big numbers in the passing game, led by dominant wideouts Derek Abney and Aaron Boone (both who were completely screwed over by the NFL's Caste System) and tight end Derek Smith.

so Snow Storm has already been taken. :target:

Thanks for the flashback! Abney could fly!

Could you imagine a game with Wisconsin playing Boston College!

That'd be fun to watch!! Even though I'd like to see Wisconsin shut down and roll over an SEC or Pac-12 team too.

I can't wait to watch Nebraska vs. Wisconsin this year! I think it will be in prime time! I hope the Badgers and Cornhuskes tear up the Big 10 this year!

This same Wisconsin had All-State QB Jared Abbrederis walk-on. Abbrederis' father who is a Firefighter had to take a second job just to pay the tuition for his son to get his opportunity!

Abbrederis was in line for a scholarship until Russell Wilson showed up.

These are just a few obstacles white players have to overcome to play at Wisconsin.

There are others I would rather not mention!

If Gilbert comes back from injury that will be 1 less starter at DE for the badgers, bringing them down to 14.. In the article he says he's 93 percent, we'll see how this plays out

Wisconsin defensive end David Gilbert said he has a "passion" for putting heat on opposing quarterbacks.

Apparently some redshirt freshman wr has won the starting wr spot opposite Jarred Abrederis. Jordan Frederick. I know little about him but he has apparently beaten out Jeff Duckworth over the course of 2 weeks. Bump for update!

If this all stays the same and the Badgers have 16 White starters, including a pair of wide receivers, I'd say they are the top program to root for. Other considerations go to Nebraska, Notre Dame and Boise St.

That's great to hear about Fredrick starting!! I believe he was recruited as a safety two years ago. Glad to see he made a successful wideout transition!

Yeah he's an athletic kid he also played basketball at Madison Memorial one of the top schools for high school basketball in the state. Initially I thought he would be bulked up and be forced to play OLB, couldn't be more happier he's a big athletic wideout!

Badgers fired their O-line coach Markuson after two games and only being able to muster 40 yards rushing in their loss to Oregon State..

I hope Danny O'Brien bounces back - I had high hopes for him this season.
