Oklahoma started 5 whites last year, 7 in 2010, 6 in 2009 and 2008, 5 in 2007 and 2006, and 3 in 2005.

Here are the projected starters for 2012.

OG-Tyler Evans
Center-Gabe Ikard
OT-Lane Johnson
TE-Brannon Green

MLB-Tom Wort

It looks like a potential increase of one. On the plus, Tom Wort is a stud and will be playing on Sundays in the future.

The "Belldozer" will make an impact as a short yardage/wildcat QB this year. I really like Landry Jones as a pro prospect but cannot wait to see what Blake Bell can do once he becomes the full time starter in 2013.

The other OG spot will likely go to Bronson Irwin, another white player, giving OU another white OL and another white starter this year, an increase of two now over last year!

Unfortunatly, I think Irwin is replacing Tyler Evans who is out for the year, so there are still three white starters on o-line, and six total.
