Woodhead should play every down and get every carry except for when he legitimately needs a breather. He's the fastest, the hardest runner, the most agile, the best blocker, the best receiver. Has the highest "football IQ." Every variable he is the best RB on the NE roster, and the offense flows a lot better with Woodhead on the field. The Patriots risk limiting his snaps at their own peril.

Ridley is averagning 2 yards a carry and Woodhead is averaging 6. yards a carry.

Woodhead is averaging under 4 ypc for the season, I wish he would get a carry out of a formation other than shotgun though. :der:

A pretty frustrating day...at least Tannehill is improving on a weekly basis.

Griffin will continue to get hit and will miss time. The Redskins whole passing offense consists of screens and a medium range passing game in the middle of the field where Griffin is only required to attempt easy passes. Much like sCam the league will catch on.

I was reffering to the game today, and his numbers are low largely because he never gets a chance to get into a rhythm.

Nobody with half a brain or a pinch of honesty can think that the Patriots coaching staff actually wants to win football games. The play calling, and players they put on the field is set up for failure. If you have Danny Woodhead on your team, and hes not getting 20 touches a game then clearly winning is at least secondary on your list of priorities. If you have players on your team like the Pats have starting on defense then clearly winning is at least secondary on your list of priorities. As great as my guy Tom Brady is, and as much as I like him he sure looks suspect sometimes. Like winning might be second on his list of priorities.

I'd rather have an RB that consistently gets 3+ yards on a run than a running back that consistently gets 2yard runs with the occasional 40 yard run.

I'm rooting for a Packers victory to help get them back in the playoff hunt. There will likely be several very unwhite teams in the NFC playoffs such as the 49ers and Bears so getting the Packers in at least as wild card would be nice.

I didn't catch the start of the game, but it looks like the Texans right guard has been Ben Jones through most of the first half. Hopefully he will become the new starter there.

Also, did anyone notice who the Brown's second leading receiver was? Josh Cooper, just activated from the PS. Also, Jordan Cameron was third leading receiver, and had the key catch in the pivotal Browns TD in the fourth.

I have this dream, that the Packers with their continuous running back problems, injuries, etc, think to themselves, "we have to trade for a running back, what team has a lot of depth at RB and would be willing to make a trade?....how bout the Patriots!" they call the Patriots and trade a 6th round draft pick for Danny Woodhead and the rest is history... eh, the impossible dream.

In a league filled with over-rated and over-hyped black players, Finley has to be one of the most over-rated ever. Other than a stretch of several games a few seasons ago when he did well, this guy has done nothing but drop passes, repeatedly get injured, shoot off his big mouth, and otherwise been a loser.

That would be great for next season. In the shorter term, Green Bay's mulatto special teams mascot/emergency tailback Brandon Saine went down with an injury tonight. I wonder if this could open the door for Jacob Hester, who's had recent workouts with the Packers most intense division rivals Lions and Bears?

I agree. I don't follow the draft much, but if I was a DWF doing a "mock draft", I'd have the Packers picking a tight end in the first round. Perhaps that kid from Notre Dame? Actually, just about any tight end in the CFL would be better than Finley. Does Jason Clermont still play for the British Columbia Lions?
