Thanks for the support. Kaptain.

I forgot to note the curious fact that Gronk appears to have somehow broken his forearm on the last extra point for New England.

Exactly how do you break your arm on an extra point? More pointedly, what was a star of Gronk's magnitude still doing in the game at such a late stage, blocking for a meaningless extra point, when the Pats had a 30+ point lead?

But then again, Wes Welker-who isn't even the regular kickoff returner, was back returning the Colts' last kickoff, late in the game. Brings back memories of when BB inexplicably had Woodhead covering punts in the fourth quarter of a preseason game last season.
I too, enjoy bigunreal's weekly rants, but offer the same criticism that Kaptain gave. This post is a perfect example of what Don complains about. Sure, it's frustrating to have a player hurt on a relatively insignificant play, but the post insinuates that Belichick is putting players out purposefully so that they can get hurt. Nevermind that Gronk is a fantastic blocker, and always part of the field goal unit. And that teams put good blocking receivers on the field goal unit in the uncommon event that it goes awry and that the holder has to throw the ball. And yes, on the sideline Belichick, McDaniels, and O'Brien huddle up and say "lets put Welker out on kick return, and Woodhead on kick coverage so they can get hurt and we can put in (insert black player's name here) instead!" Sound ridiculous, doesn't it?

Things about which I must remind myself

We live in a world of limited resources, and constrained options.

For the Patriots to win, Andrew Luck must lose.

For Cam Newton to lose, Josh Freeman must win.

For Edelman, Welker, and Gronk to get 25 targets between them, maybe Woodhead sits this one out.

Every pass that Manning throws to Brandon Stokely is a pass that cannot go to Eric Decker.

Our star white players are sort of concentrated on certain teams. That's a double-edged sword. It makes me want to watch the Patriots, but I know that they can't all catch passes at the same time. Same goes for Denver. I get frustrated that Woodhead isn't used more, or even featured, but on a day when Edelman's obvious speed and skill steal the show in returns, rushing, and receiving, I can't get too upset.

Great work by Thrashen. As for Jordy he is now an outside receiver and the Lions played that leaving the middle more open.

If McWigger is calling the shots and not Belichick, my hat is off to him for: 1. somehow passing Belichick in the organizational hierarchy; and 2. directing the most White friendly offense in the last 40 years in the NFL.

The Broncos and Packers both won. That's the bottom line. This isn't fantasy football where every star has to get certain stats every game and when they don't it can only be because their quarterback deliberately ignored them just to tick you off. All of the greats have good and not so good games statistically during the course of a season (and Decker scored a nice TD today). I greatly enjoyed both the Broncos and Patriots wins, didn't watch much of the Packers game. It makes no sense to continually criticize the most White friendly offenses for the same reason we aren't continually lambasting the Minnesota Timberwolves.

I don't criticize Sport Historian just as I don't criticize 99%+ of the posters here except on occasions when they violate the posting guidelines or when I suspect they may be trolls or otherwise determine that they don't get what we're about here -- I may not agree with all of Sport Historian's opinions, but his posts are logical, rational and well thought out, unlike many of yours. He also has a fantastic memory and adds a lot of interesting facts and tidbits about athletes and events that many posters here were unaware of, including me on more than a few occasions. By contrast, you frequently engage in paranoia and buffoonery, which is not in the best interests of Caste Football.

Go read your post again. In between the usual nonsense, e.g. the insinuation that games are being scripted to favor Josh Freeman with no explanation as to why games are no longer being scripted to favor Cam Newton, you accused Manning and Rodgers of deliberately ignoring Decker and Nelson, you accused the refs of throwing a game just to spite Tim Tebow, and you engaged in your usual vitriol toward the Whitest offense of the past 40 years. How is that supporting White athletes? How is that helping Caste Football? Answer: it isn't.

Don,
Thanks for the kind words. When you look at things from the historical viewpoint, it means examining BOTH sides of an issue. I didn't say Charlie Sanders "belongs in the HOF," rather I called him a marginal choice. Dick Lebeau, who is white, is also a marginal HOF selection. In particular, because Lebeau is supposedly in for his playing rather than coaching career.

A few years ago, Bigunreal was claiming that Peyton Manning was losing playoff games on purpose under orders from NFL Fixers Inc.

I try to keep positive as much as possible in regards to the caste system. I support all the white players out there but I do get the frustration and people vent in different ways.

I am really pissed off about the RB situation - Leonard, Hillis, Kuhn, Woodhead and Gerhart are all getting royally screwed. Hester dug his own grave by deciding to be a 220lb blocking fullback and WSTD. Until these guys become more vocal than nothing is going to change. I am a little hopeful that Burkhead, Line and McGuffie are drafted and can make a meaningful impact.

On the positive side there are 4 white WRs that should reach 1000yds this season - Nelson, Decker, Hartline and Welker. That does not include TEs - Witten and Gronk (if he is able to return with three games left) should be able to reach this milestone as well. I think guys like Nelson and Decker especially are making people rethink the fact that whites can play the position. Prospects like Conner Vernon, Jared Aberderris, Brent Leonard should all benefit from this to an extent. Also although it is annoying it does help that all white slot type wr's are compared to Welker - he has been a real castebuster - Mike Campanro and Alex Amidon should benefit from these comparisons.

With that said it is going to take coaches and evaluators to look past the negative stereotypes that they and their predecessors stamped on white athletes to see that white players are as talented if not more so than all the affletes that are given chances every season based on skin color only.

I now have started emailing all the draft experts and calling them out about their stereotypes when I read them in their write ups. I would suggest everyone else do the same. Start taking the fight to those who perpetuate these falsehoods year in and year out.

I also plan on contacting the NFL office after the draft if the same percentage of white players gets drafted this year - between 25-30% and ask them if their is a quota system in place and to look into discrimination of white players based on stereotypes. Again - I hope others will do the same.

Leonardfan,

I applaud you for what you are doing, making these contacts at the college and NFL level, but in my opinion, it's going to take people getting to the so called expert scouts at the high school level to make an impact in college and the NFL. How many great white RB's and WR's have been ignored at the high school level and ended up playing D-II, DIII, and or NAIA or never playing at all, and never heard from again?

When I first came aboard CF, someone here showed a stat where I think about half the high school RB's in the U.S., led their state in rushing. Where did all those white RB's go?

Many here at CF including yourself can name many of these. Please keep making those contacts, but there needs to be an awakening at the root of the problem, high school level, as early as the 9th grade if possible!

Foobar75,

I do watch the games in question. I have Sunday Ticket, and thus can concentrate on the few games involving the Patriots, Broncos, Texans and the white stars of teams like the Packers. I certainly couldn't stand to watch a minute of the Redskins, Falcons, Panthers, Steelers, etc.

You ask why Rodgers would intentionally ignore his best receiver. Isn't that the gist of the entire Caste System? Why would coaches not play the best players? Why would they cut so many white players who are far more skilled than the majority of their coal black rosters? I can't believe we even still ask these kinds of questions. Let "reporters" from ESPN and the like ask them.

We have to understand that some white players are more important to the cause of breaking up the Caste System than others. Edelman had a great game yesterday, but if the past is any indication, he could all but disappear from the offense for the rest of the season. Woodhead is crucial there, because he is just about the only white RB in the league now getting meaningful touches. So yes, no matter how else that game played out, it is certainly fair to question why he received ZERO touches the entire game, especially after he performed so well last week.

As for the Broncos, Decker is the key guy there. He is a young outside WR, battling with Thomas to become the undisputed #1. Tamme and Dreesen will never shatter the Caste System, and while it's great to see Stokley resurrect his career, at his age he isn't going to, either.

Seeing who is open is much more difficult at field level, with frenetic action and various defenders charging the quarterback and doing their best to block his vision, than it is from the typical live television view shot from well above field level and then followed with isolated replays on individual receivers.

Some QBs, often black, have a difficult time scanning the field beyond their primary receiver much less seeing them all. Yet you're saying that Aaron Rodgers looks over his receivers, sees Jordy Nelson open, but in his mind says "must not throw to Jordy, he can only have five targets today" and then tries to find a black receiver open instead.

So is Rodgers following orders, i.e. knowingly engaging in a criminal conspiracy by following a script sent to him by league headquarters telling him how often he can utilize Jordy Nelson? And if so, why wasn't it followed last season? Why don't you hide out in the bushes wearing your tinfoil hat and film Rodgers receiving his weekly script from some shadowy black-clad NFL employee? Or is it gray clad? Why was Nelson "allowed" to become a star in the first place? Why aren't Welker's targets decreased rather than remaining at historic highs year after year?

Sorry Kaptain and anyone else who thinks bigunreal's post was legit. Maybe it's bigunreal who's following a script because his plot line never deviates.

And btw, Nelson's stats through 8 games this season (he missed 2 games because of injury) are 46/624/4. And that includes a game where he left with an ankle injury in the first quarter. That equates to 92/1,248/8 over a full season. Yeah, sure, Aaron Rodgers is part of criminal conspiracy to marginalize Nelson this season. I guess I'll have to amend the posting guidelines to explicitly disallow idiocy, buffoonery and paranoia.

Danny is being used most in Pats hurry up offense, something they didn't need to resort to in the last game, resulting in his disappearance from their gameplan. frustrating as it is, Pats are always like this. going with the hot hand approach. last night Edelman got more touchs than normally and it paid off beautifully, shame he got stopped 2 yards shy on his end around or else he would score one of each kind offensive TDs. (and imagine him returning one interception as well in the same game, back when he played a little corner!)

As long as the Pats employ three "undersized" white men they will remain the team to root for in my meaningless opinion. Gronks injury sucks, and it cant be denied that he should not have been out there. It was a stupid coaching decision to say the least.

Wes Welker is just plain unguardable. There is no amount of targets per game that would be too many for him. As great as he is he should have WAY more stats at this point, but this is nitpicking I know.

Julian Edelman is one of the best 5 players on this team, and has proven himself in very limited chances. Deon Sanders actually praised his speed with excitement on one of the highlights I saw, which pleasantly surprised me.

There is no logical reason for the under use of Woodhead. What makes less sense than his under use is the WAY they use him when they do. It cant just be stupidity alone. His YPC is not good this year, and its not his fault. Ridley gets misdirections, off tackles, sweeps, and quick pitches. Why not Danny? If I didnt know better I would think somebody wanted to make him look like less than what he is. Again I know this is nitpicking, and Im happy they are winning. I just believe that Danny Woodhead is THE ultimate caste buster. I think he represents our best weapon for waking up some drunks. Thats why I cant help howlin like a gut shot panther about his criminal under use. I guess I should just be happy about the fact hes in uniform.

Tonight's game looks like a low-scoring repeat of last night's snoozer. Jason Campbell vs. Colin Kapernick, sounds like an instant cure for insomnia.

CM ESPN just showed footage of the slow-footed Marcel Reese easily tracking down Saints safety Roman Harper after Harper intercepted a Carson Palmer pass during yesterday's game. Then they showed footage from earlier this season where Sam Bradford caught Harper from behind after he picked off one of Sam's passes. Of Harper, Cris Carter said simply, "He's not very good in the open field." I guess it's impossible for a brother to call another brother slow.

I wonder what Harper runs the 40 in? I highly doubt it's under 5 seconds. He looks like Rich Eisen when he's lumbering down the field. And Harper's actually a good safety, at least he makes a lot of tackles and some big plays on New Orleans' horrific defense. Yet Whites aren't given a look at the position unless they run a 4.5 or better. Typical Caste System double standards and hypocrisy.

i agree the way they use him in the run game is terrible. I don't know if its to make him look bad, but its definitely not to make him look good. Like Ive said, I think they simply run him to keep the defense honest so they can keep the passing game going.

I am not happy that he simply gets to play. Its terrible to have this White back who broke the rushing record, runs a 4.3 not to be used to his fullest potential. There are a lot of guys like him that play at the lower levels that could do well in the NFL, they all don't run 4.3's, plenty run 4.5's, 5'8 to 6'0 180 to 210 pounds. I mean his role is basically like how Brian Leonard is used. Lots of blocking, the occasional throw or carry.

Now the black quarterback for the 49ers is going to be hyped up to be the starter after that drive.

Alex Smith has been ruled out for tonight's game so AA draft pick Colin Crapernick will get the start giving the SF DWFs their very own exciting black quarterback. The funny thing is that this guy gets to be a 2nd round draft pick yet Collin Klein is being treated as nothing more than an afterthought when he has an equal skillset physically and is obviously smarter.

Kaepernick is said to have scored 37 on the Wonderlic but I don't buy it. Originally they said he failed to complete 60% of the test (30/50 questions) and then suddenly he scores a 37. Whenever the stated Wonderlic score of a white person changes it always goes down, but whenever a black's Wonderlic score changes it always goes way up.

After the ankle injury... Jordy Nelson was forced into the line-up a week too soon; a bye week was coming up and he could have used an extra week to fully heal and i think he re-aggrevated the injury?? Hope this not a lingering deal....do realize you cant always have the big game.

Will be watching the Woodhead situation even closer on Thanksgiving day...suprised to see nothing at all in box score...i was already mad he only had 1 carry the previous week that happened to be a 15 yard TD.

Props to Gronk(hate he got hurt) & Edelman for their big-time games! And to arguably the NFL's Top Safety Eric Weddle's for the Pick Six!

Riley Cooper continues to get more invloved after that sick one handed TD grab the week before!

Byron Leftwich and now Jason Campbell have quickly become injured when called upon to step in for the starting QB on their respective teams. I give about 10 to 1 odds that china doll Charlie Batch will get injured if he replaces Leftwich this week.

Edit: Campbell is back on the field. Maybe he'll make it through the end of the game. . . maybe, though Chicago's o-line is pathetic as usual.

Kaepernick has been impressive. Given how hated Alex Smith has always been, there'll probably be an instant quarterback controversy after this game.

the mention of Riley Cooper prompts me to add a quick query and comment ...

did anyone else see Cooper's extra curricular scuffle after his 23-yard catch-and-run-over-an-afflete? on the sideline after the play was over, Cooper was on the receiving end of some extra contact and didn't take it kindly. he promptly, and firmly, shoved back and got in the face of the affletic defensive back. he also added some rather aggressive commentary.

when considering his short history in the NFL, it appears that A) Riley Cooper doesn't take crap off anyone, and B) the homies don't like him.

i became an even bigger fan of his upon watching this brief altercation.

Well, I for one like Bigunreal's posts. For two reasons, the first one being that I agree to a degree that the NFL is fixed. Not fixed in the normal sense, but fixed in the way white skill position players are handled. You can call it the status quo of the NFL or just say that there is no meritocracy involved, but too many white players have breakout games or breakout seasons only to be tossed aside for it to be coincidence. Mike Furrey in Detroit for example. Or Kevin Curtis with Philly. There's Peyton Hillis in Cleveland and many, many more if I did a drop of research.

We will see if Wes Welker will be allowed to make the HOF. Early in the season it looked like the answer was no. But a public outcry and multiple injuries seems to have given Welker another year of HOF production. I would like to see Wes get 1,000 catches for his career. That should insure his induction.

There is also the running QB situation. Eric Crouch, Matt Jones, Tim Tebow are the big name QB's with prolific college careers only to be denied opportunity in the NFL. Of course, black running QB's are 1st round draft picks, given carte blanche to be a starting QB for years and tons of endorsements. It does seem to me that owners actually ram these black QB's down the throats of coaches who don't want them. The coaches never outwardly complain the way John Fox complained about Tebow in Denver though.

And let's not forget how any talented white RB coming out of college just happens to be drafted by a team that already has a stud black RB. Even if drafting another RB makes no sense and is a wasted pick, it still happens. One has to wonder if the NFL brass isn't compensating these teams in some way for throwing away a pick. In another thread, before Toby Gerhardt got drafted, I posted that he had to get drafted by the Titans or the Vikings. I made that prediction based on the NFL's history of screwing over white RB's and doing all they can to make them irrelevant.

During this past off-season I was going to write an article titled, 'Why Peyton Manning must end up in Denver'. It was my opinion that only Manning could give Elway an escape from Tebow. I just don't have the time or energy to write such an article and wouldn't have the nuts to submit it even if I did write it but if you believe the NFL is fixed and doesn't want a star like Tim Tebow than Manning to Denver was a no-brainer. The NFL right now is practically making Tim carry his own cross to his crucifixion.

The 2nd reason I like bigunreal's posts has nothing to do with the NFL.

I have tremendous respect for Don Wassall. He has been an amazing moderator and owner of this site. Despite the large number of trolls he has to deal with he remains professional and even courteous to all. He has given 2nd chances to some who don't deserve it and the benefit of the doubt to some who are doomed to be banned.

But his relationship with bigunreal is different. Bigunreal really does seem to get under his skin. I find the ongoing war of posts between Don and bigunreal a very guilty pleasure. It goes back a long way and Don has seemed exasperated at times. I certainly don't wish any exasperation on Don but the posts are what they are. One post in particular had all of us saying, "Huh, did Don really just say that to bigunreal?"

I hope Don and bigunreal continue to have a respectful dialogue on this site. I apologize to them both for enjoying it as much as I do.

Alex Smith is the third highest rater passer in the NFL and after one game by his mixed breed replacement there is a qb controversy. Unbelievable.

Aldon Smith had 5.5 sacks, overtaking Miller and JJ Watt for a lead... damn! :frown:

it's gonna be hard for JJ to regain the lead.

I'm amused at the mess these black coaches of Pittsburgh and Chicago have put themselves in with their backup black QB's. Now they're stuck. It'll be a real knee slapper when Batch takes the ball for the Steelers.

Well, all it took was one sub 250 yard game and Colin Quotanick has basically been handed the starting QB job. Psycho Jim Harbaugh threw Alex Smith under the bus and certainly seems to be leaning towards starting the less pale QB.

Alex Smith has been "disrespected" more than all the black QBs in the history of the NFL have been combined. He had a great year last season, looked like a real playmaker in the playoffs, and has played very well again this year. But all it took was one game from a magnificent afflete, and his starting job is history.

Just watched the "debate" on this subject between Steven A. Smiff and Skippy Tebow on ESPN. Shockingly, Skippy was having multiple verbal orgasms over the "rocket arm" Quotanick possesses (and have we ever heard of a black QB that doesn't have a "cannon for an arm?") He "saw enough" in the one game for Alex Smith to be history. And, of course, Smiff's reaction was predictably racially based, although he actually was the one advising a bit of caution in crowning Quotanick after a single game.

I would love to see Alex Smith just punch Psycho Harbaugh. Maybe if some of these white guys start intimidating these coaches physically, like blacks have been doing for many years, they would think twice about exhibiting this kind of embarrassing Castean favoritism.

Steven Smith would be somewhat tolerable if he lost that sneering and attitude he carries in his voice every time he opens his mouth.

GWTJ, great post. I really agree with your first point and might have to admit to agreeing with the 2nd one as well.

This quarterback controversy in San Fran really validates what bigunreal repeatedly says. White players simply cannot afford to get injured, especially if their backup is of the darker hue. The age old adage of players don't lose their job to injury does not apply to Whites anymore.

Fellas, I don't post here too much, but have been around for a number of years. Pretty much agree with the arguments that there is an institutionalized caste system in college and NFL and to a large degree in HS sports.

With that said, I have to say something about Kaepernick here. I actually had the opportunity to meet the kid on two different occasions and talked with him both times. Once during his sophomore year at UNR and once during his Junior year. Friends of mine from Reno are UNR boosters and knew the Kaepernicks (both white) through booster functions.

Obviously CK was adopted as were my two boys. He appreciated my wife and I because we too were adoptive parents and he really loves his parents. He remembered my name the second time (at another booster function) and wanted to know how my boys were doing. We talked adoption and HD motorcycles more than football actually.

Long story short, CK is a pretty damn decent human being. Very unassuming, but a competitor. Had multiple Baseball and Basketball scholarship offers. The only football scholarship he was offered was from UNR. Figured he would be scouted by the pros but UNR being a smaller school that eventually beat Boise State, I didn't think he would go as high as he did, let alone get a shot. But good for him.

I hope that Alex Smith stays the starter and gets them to the play-offs and farther. As a veteran, I think he has smarts and the skills to get them there. Hell, he has been getting them there and would have been playing in the super bowl last year if not for the two fumbles from that Williams idiot.

He gets a raw deal from the media at every turn and I want to see him prove them wrong... again. The talking heads are ramping up the QB controversy like crazy today. CK is young and can wait another year or two, but to be honest I wish him all the best as well.
