NBC again squeezes in a measly few minutes of decathlon coverage in between showing women's events. Hardee is about 150 points behind the mulatto Eaton with just the 1500 left.

The decathlon used to be the crown jewel event of the T & F portion of the Olympics, and perhaps, the entire games. For the man who won the gold, it meant instant fame and celebrity status, and he became a household name. Now, aside from the small group of dedicated of track fans, no one knows who Trey Hardee or Ashton Eaton are. Somewhere along the way, in the last 20-30 years, decathlon gradually began losing its status, and instead, the men's 100m somehow became the showcase event (I wonder why). We all know how hard must be to run in a straight line as fast as possible for about 10s, compared to taking part in 10 events over 2 days that incorporate aspects of strength, power, stamina, and speed. :icon_rolleyes:

Another thing, these Olympics have clearly been a victory for the CM/Feminist establishment, at least from the US side. The US women have outformed their male counterparts and won more medals, a factoid Bob Costas has gleefully mentioned on more than one occasion. While its their time to gloat, I wonder if this is a one-off or the start of a longer term trend. Really, why have the men failed to deliver? Gymnastics, boxing, volleyball, soccer, tennis, and I'm sure I'm leaving out a few more.

To be clear, I'm not knocking any of these women. I can't think of a single one who hasn't deserved their medals, after putting the time, effort and preparation to get to this stage and deliver. In fact, from the various profiles/segments we have seen, most of these athletes live ordinary lives and will go back to relative obscurity after the games are over.

In the meantime, we should probably be on the lookout for a few more "end of men" articles from the usual msm outlets while subject is still hot.

Bruce Jenner is one of the last household name decathletes, I think.

I remember also in 92 the "Dan, or Dave?" commercials where those decathletes (one I think was a mulatto, the other Whitebread) were household names.

After that, though, I can't think of anyone.

I do know Daly Thompson got some "greatest athlete" pop because he's a Negro.

The Olympics are far from an honest, unbiased, apolitical showcase of friendly, pure competition.

It's clear that from every conceivable angle, agendas are being touted.

Also, a lot of these medals (I'm not singling out anyone) are total BS and some of the alleged "sports" are ridiculous. It's a joke when some fat slob's gold medal in throwing darts (joking) or some other worthless game is worth the same as one of Michael Phelps'.

I saw Bruce Jenner briefly last night during NBC's "marathon" three-minute decathlon coverage. I could be wrong but it looks like he's had several plastic surgeries, including a nose job. Apparently he's another one of those egomaniacal celebrities who trys to look eternally youthful but ends up looking freakish instead.

In newer sports womens events have less depth. Also many sports have little participation from Asian, African and Latin American countries due to cost and in some cases acess to facilities. People complain about the lack of depth in professional boxing for men, if you look at womens boxing it's basically a carnival.

Bruce Jenner is a comical, bordering tragic figure. When he won the gold medal in 1976 Olympics he was an iconic All American Sports Hero(read; White superstar). He has had multiple plastic surgeries ranging from face lifts, liposuction, nose jobs and eyelid reconstruction for the past 30 years. He is the White male version of Michael Jackson, sans the attraction to little boys and Jeri curl grease that MJ loved.

Jenner is a true pathetic freak. He marries into the Kardashian clan. The cunnty marxist dream family. He gladly parttakes in the a-hole reality TV crap flashed across telamudvision, for all the see, mock and DWF brainwash. In short a living train wreck. He cosorts with Kim and her various affeletic/rap/ negros who love to bang her. There is Bruce laughing all the way and consoling the loser family who will do any thing to be on telamudvision.

This mofo should have just aged naturally and found a normal White woman decades ago. Now, the damage is done and now he a big piece of the Kardashian sh*thole called reality tv. What a friggin clown. He has had two daughters with Queen Mama Kardasian. The little spoiled brats are anxiously awaiting to follow bimbo Kim's ways.

As white is right said there is little depth in women's sports beyond a handful of countries. Just look at soccer. It is by far the most popular sport in Europe - much more so than it is in the US - yet until the past decade there were no real women's soccer programmes in most European countries (Sweden and Norway are probably the only exceptions). The women's semi-final between the US and Canada was played at Old Trafford, the holy grail of English football, in the second largest and most soccer mad British city where 5 million live within an hour's drive yet the stadium was more than half empty and most of those there appeared to be Americans and Canadians. Even in Manchester nobody is interested in women's soccer. In the North America women's World Cup and Olympic soccer get huge ratings - in most of Europe it is either not on TV at all or on channels hardly anybody knows exists. It would not surprise me if it is the same in most of the world for many of the other sports the US women dominated. US men OTOH have to go up against opponents who've been playing their sports seriously for decades, even more than a century.
I wouldn't expect wee Bobby Costas to mention any of that. The women (and blacks) save American pride is the more likely narrative of the Zio-media.

NBC’s nightly “Olympic Recap” show is so desperate to showcase American female athletes that they’ll even give extensive (replayed) coverage to American women that aren’t even in contention to medal in their respective sport.

Take 10-meter platform diver, Katie Bell, for example. Bell was endlessly praised by the announcers, interviewed days before her dives, all of her dives were shown on primetime TV, and she was also interviewed immediately following her dives…all this, despite the fact that she finished 16[SUP]th[/SUP] out of 18 competitors in the semifinals of that event. Of course, for good measure, the announcers constantly repeated Bell’s foolish and hyper-arrogant quote after being asked about what she thought of her chances in the Olympic 10M platform dive, to which she allegedly responded…

I own this sh-t!

Naturally, instead of actually saying the “s-word” on TV, the announcers kept saying that Miss Bell told them: “I own this…stuff!’ [Laughter] You can probably imagine what she really said!”

What possessed her, a 24-year old nobody in the world of diving, to utter something so imprudent, and to the media, no less? All that Ebonics-laden audacity, only to finish in 16[SUP]th[/SUP] place? Yeah, she “owned” it, alright. Another conceited imp with a tremendous lack of class…

Only sweethearts like Magdalena Neuner will get my praise, I can't stand the womyn American harpies and I'm not going to root for them just because they're White and from my country. The so called hyphen twins have deserved every word of criticism.

I've tried to get into the Olympic spirit but it seems every time in I tune hoping for some track and field I hit beach volleyball or guys on bycycles. They'll play that grand sounding olympic theme music that is supposed to evoke visions of athletic royalty, then show two loud mouth chicks wearing bikinis running around in the sand. It's comical to me. They might as well us kazoos for the olympic music and bring in Frankie Avolon and Annette Funicello for color commentary.

Michael Jackson is what I thought of when I saw his weird face. He was a good looking guy who would have aged well naturally. Thanks for the background on him, Westside.

What bothers me the most about the U.S. athletes is their tendency for over the top celebrating. This of course is a cultural disease, having started with blacks, with all but the most ridiculous carryings on being rewarded with media praise and mucho air time, so it spread to a lot of White athletes over time, who now bring it to the world through events such as the Olympics.

It shows a lack of proper restraint and is utterly lacking in dignity and class. A baseball player would hit a three run homerun to win a regular season game and would shake hands with the teammates in front of him as he crossed home plate. Now the entire team, jumping up and down like banshees on peyote, assaults him as he rounds third. World Series clinching victories used to be celebrated with less theatrics than that.

The fans are there to cheer. That's their "job," not the athletes'. It's the natural order of things, but anything natural is frowned upon and eliminated whenever possible in The Glorious Imperial Multicultural Empire.

Some years ago I saw an ESPN Sportcentury episode on Bruce Jenner. At one point he said something like "Well, I'm a celebrity. That's something of a joke."

Later he acknowledged his mother was very upset with the nose job and said "It's something I thought I'd just do."

Jenner didn't seem lke a happy man. His attitude was: "This is what celebrities are and this is what I have become."

Yes, it spread to white athletes a long time ago. They think it will help them to "belong."

The late Pat Tillman often put on a buffoon act when with the Arizona Cardinals. Jim McMahon and Brian Bosworth did so in the 1980's.

In baseball, acting like a monkey (total fool) has hurt several players. I believe Giants 1B Aubrey Huff has been out for several months and is injured again because of excessively celebrating Matt Cain's perfect game. His career could be in jeopardy due to the injury, considering his age...A black/Latin pitcher on the Mets was, also, injured a few days after Huff, celebrating Santana's "tainted" no-hitter (ump missed a double by Beltran).

A few years ago "wiggerish" Marlins CF Chris Coghlan looked like he was, perhaps, a rising star in baseball until he a tore his ACL attempting to smear a shaving cream pie in one of his teammates faces. No doubt he was seeking attention (trying to get on camera), much like so many black athletes....just stupid, as can be, as it currently looks like he might be totally finished in baseball thanks to the injury.

I actually miss the days when guys would shake hands after big wins or big games...now it's dangerous dog piles and home plate mobbing's for even trivial wins...

No surprise this idiocy has spread to the Olympics, even female athletes.....

People in general today tend to make wild, exhibitionist displays of emotion because everyone is taught to be self-centered attention whore, solely concerned with me, me, me, and if anyone has a problem with that, that's their problem, blah, blah, blah.

Rather than rightly condemn these selfish acts, everyone coddles each other because it's reciprocal. Compliment me, I compliment you, etc.

Which is why you see chicks on Facebook taking trampy pics of themselves, just so a-holes can give them sleazy compliments.

Self-validation for triviality, rather than girding our race to meet and defeat the challenges of tomorrow.

That's why this country's going down the sh**ter.

Excessive celebrations are one of many nonsensical behaviors that have become mainstream now. What about the man-hug? Where the f*** did that come from, and what happened to just a good 'ol, manly handshake?

Or the many ghetto phrases that continue to enter the English vocabulary on a daily basis, such as "hooking-up", "hating on", or "keeping it real"?

I can't wait to see what comes next in this Idiocracy.

While I don't even own a tv, I can feel the intensity of these anti-White games just from seeing the newspaper coverage. I'm disgusted and can't wait for this garbage to end.

Tom don't "hate the games, hate the USA non players." If there is lacking of White male athletes from USA in these games, look into the stands and fans of the NFL. Most in the stands and sitting at home watching telemudvision , around 65% I suspect are DWFs where a large minority could be great Olympiads. But no, the CM and PTB brainwash Ops have succeeded into turning their will and interest into watching affelets, gluzzing beer, binging on nachos, stuffing their respective traps with brats and over eating on pizza, rather than pursing athletics.

Excellent observation!!

In a ball game I was watching a fan caught a ball in the open centerfield area at a stadium and immediately broke into an absurd celebration shuffle. It was ridiculous.

Some ball players have special handshake routines after they hit one out. Cabrerra and Fielder on the Tigers go through this elaborate post HR congratulatory handshake. Probably one of the silliest things you will ever see.

There was a post election picture on the front page of my local rag and two older white guys were exchanging a "soul brother" handshake. I hate that handshake and whenever someone grabs my thumb to try and exchange this greeting I give them the classic handshake and tell them to "shake hands like a man".

Billy “White Shoesâ€￾ Johnson is one of the first guys who took up clownish celebrations, although I don’t remember him being an arrogant type.
