Iowa has been at worst a half White team since '05, starting 11, 13, 15, 15, 13, 12 and 11 during that time. They look to have 12 in '12. Many other college football teams should be majority White and would be if not for the odious Caste System that discriminates against White players. Iowa should be an even Whiter team than they are. They should start at least 16-18 Whites every year.

Some White reserves to look for are QB Jake Rudock, FB Jonathan Gimm, WR Steven Staggs, TE Zach Derby, LT Andrew Donnal, LG Drew Clark, RG Jordan Walsh, RT Nolan MacMillan, FSs Jack Swanson and John Lowdermillk, SSs Tom Donatell and Collin Sleeper, WLB Cole Fisher, OLB Travis Perry, RE Riley McMinn, RT Louis Trinca-Pasat, LE Mike Hardy, and LT Dean Tsopanides.

Offense
QB James Vandenberg
TE C.J. Fiedorowicz
LT Brandon Scherff
LG Matt Tobin
C James Ferentz
RG Austin Blythe or Conor Boffeli
RT Brett Van Sloten

Defense
LE Joe Gaglione
RE Dominic Alvis
RT Steve Bigach
MLB James Morris
FS Tanner Miller

The curse continues.

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -- Iowa running back De'Andre Johnson has been suspended after two run-ins with police in the past week.
Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz issued a statement Sunday saying he had suspended Johnson from all team activities after learning about the sophomore's latest encounter with police.
The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that Johnson was ticketed for speeding and eluding arrest on Saturday. It says Johnson drove his motorcycle 60 mph in a 25 mph zone and didn't immediately pull over.
University Heights police didn't immediately respond to a message from The Associated Press.
Two days earlier, Johnson was ticketed by Iowa City police for maintaining a disorderly house after neighbors complained of a loud party at his home.

Hey Kirk, there are a lot of very good runningbacks in and around Iowa who aren't predisposed to "thug life". Maybe you should try to represent your state a little more. Jackašš.

The curse claims another runningblack.

Iowa suffered yet another tough blow to its depleted backfield when head coach Kirk Ferentz announced Tuesday that freshman running back Barkley Hill will miss the 2012 season after suffering a knee injury during Saturday’s practice.

Hill will have ACL reconstruction surgery later this week, a similar procedure to the one administered to freshman defensive back Ruben Lile last week. Lile will also miss the upcoming campaign.

Losing the 6-foot, 210-pound Iowa native is just the latest blow to a Hawkeyes backfield that has suffered through a tumultuous offseason.
The Big Ten's second-leading rusher in 2011, Marcus Coker, transferred to Stony Brook, while potential starter Jordan Canzeri suffered a torn ACL and will likely miss the 2012 season.
De'Andre Johnson was dismissed from the team after two run-ins with police, so backfield depth in Iowa City has been a major concern throughout the offseason for Ferentz and new offensive coordinator Greg Davis.

Class of 2012 product Greg Garmon ran into some off-the-field trouble as well, but his presence is crucial now as the offensive staff will have to rely on him and Damon Bullock this fall to carry the slack. The question is whether they can give the Hawkeyes some semblance of Big Ten-quality production, especially against the league's better run defenses. Nate Meier, a 6-2, 235-pound athlete who has been practicing at running back because of the team's lack of depth, could also see his timeline accelerated, as well as true freshman Michael Malloy and junior walk-on Andre Dawson.

Nate Meier is white. But I suspect Iowa would have to lose every last negro on the roster (regardless of their position) before Ferentz allowed him to start.

where, oh where, is Nile Knapp? too bad Ferentz didn't offer the incredible talent when he had the chance.

The last available information on Nile was that he was working at Chick-Fil-A (forgot which town in Georgia) and he wants to go to college this Fall, but was undecided on which school.

It looks like Iowa will have one more white starter this year; FB Mark Weisman is currently ahead of Brad Rodgers on Iowa's latest depth chart!!

Iowa's depth chart came out yesterday as well:

Here are some of the changes (in addition to what Jack states above):

RT - Louis Trinca-Pasat (White)
LE - Steve Bigach or Joe Gaglione (both White)
RE - Steve Bigach or Dominic Alvis (both White)

The changes at these positions don't add any more numbers, just a different player with Louis and potentially different players at the end positions than what's listed above.

Also, they have SS - Tom Donatell (White) now listed as a co-starter, but his name is first. So, technically, this would add another White starter for Iowa.

I think Tom Donatell is now the starting SS for Iowa! :)
Also, Bigach starts at LT on defense, Gaglione and Alvis start at their respective end spots, giving Iowa an all white D-Line!!

For now Mark Weisman is starting at RB for Iowa too!! :D
