The Broncos started 15 whites last season and 11 in 2010. Before that they were around a half white team. Here are the white starters for 2012.

QB-Joe Southwick
FB-Chandler Koch
RB-Drew Wright
WR-Matt Miller
WR-Mitch Burroughs
H-Chris Potter
T-Gabe Lineham
OG-Joe Kellogg
C-Matt Parasidis
OG-Jake Broyles

DT-Mike Atkinson
DE-Tyler Horn
WLB-J.C. Percy
MLB-Blake Renaud- in a fight for position

It looks like back down to 14 white starters this year but a starting white runningback and two white receivers. My kind of team!

Boise State actually has 4 productive white wide receivers, three of which will be incoming sophomores.

Dallas Burroughs might be the best of the bunch, he's a freak athelete that ran the 100M in 10.34 in high school. Last year he had 9 catches for 175 yards, I won't be surprised if he actually ends up being a starter this year.

I hope Southwick is capable of filling the void left by Moore. Boise St. will once again be a fun team to watch. They have been a real diamond in the rough for years.

Dallas Burroughs truly has explosive speed on the track, but it hasn't yet translated to the collegiate football field. i wish he would've ran for the Broncos track team, though ... it would have been excellent for him. many collegiate football teams (Florida, Arkansas, LSU, Ohio State, USC, and so on) allow (and some even encourage) their speedsters to participate in both sports.

hopefully, he will have a breakout season as a sophomore.

WA33, I think there will be one more white Bronco starting on defense this year. MLB Blake Renaud is expected to give Tommy Smith a real fight for the job, and a lot of people have Renaud coming out on top. Renaud is a 6-2, 250lb wrecking ball. He's going to be a good one for Boise State this year and beyond! :)

Also, watch out for SS Taylor Loffler on defense as well.

Not to nitpick, but JC Persy is actually J.C. Percy. :p

Thanks Jack! I updated that information. So potentially 14 white starters this year at Boise State.

sophomore wide receiver Dallas Burroughs' speed is getting noticed ...

NFLDraftScout has him listed with a "verified" 4.38 in the 40. reports from Boise's camp have him running as fast as a 4.28 (and with a 6.56 in the 3-cone drill). i've even seen him ranked as high as the 3rd-fastest player in college football, based on his 10.3 100-meter time.

it will be interesting to see if he begins translating this blazing track speed onto the football field.

fellow White wideouts at Boise State are also making some impressive noise ... Chris Potter has posted impressive times in the 3-cone drill (6.48) and pro agility/short shuttle (3.97). Kirby Moore has also posted a sub-4 second pro agility/short shuttle time (3.99). expect Dallas Burroughs, Kirby Moore, and Chris Potter to see a lot of action in the receiver rotation.

Potter is also expected to resume his duties as the top punt returner (he was named the conference pre-season special teams player of the year) and will likely compete for the kick return job with the Burroughs brothers.

sophomore Matt Miller is reported to be uncoverable in camp, and his speed and agility is much improved from last year when he was already an impressive pass catcher. look for him to have a big year.

other news of note: Corey Bell has emerged as the likely starter at nickel, which is a hybrid linebacker/safety and will be on the field a large percentage of the snaps this season and might be a starter. that would provide an additional White player on defense playing starter's reps.

Drew Wright is expected to play a lot of snaps, but it appears he is the backup at this point.

Official Depth Chart now out:

QB - Joe Southwick
FB - Dan Paul
TE - Gabe Linehan OR Chandler Koch (White)
WR(X) - Matt Miller
WR(Y) - Mitch Burroughs
WR(SLOT) - Kirby Moore
LG - Joe Kellogg
C - Matt Paradis
RG - Michael Ames
RT - Jake Broyles

DE - Tyler Horn OR Demarcus Lawrence (black)
NT - Mike Atkinson
STUD End - Beau Martin OR Sam Ukwuachu (black)
WLB - J.C. Percy

So, there could be as many as 14 if counting the FB and with Horn and Martin starting or as few as 12 if Lawrence and Ukwuachu are starting.

Drew Wright is the backup RB.

Boise sure is turning black on defense.....but I can certainly root for that offense and a team that starts 14 brothas and beats SEC/ACC teams!

Academic AND Athletic excellence

Boise State has been one of the Whitest teams in college football for the last several years. that has resulted in not only one of the most exciting, explosive teams in the country as demonstrated by their national rankings and so forth, but they've also been incredible in the classroom.

For the second-straight year, the Boise State football team posted the second-highest Academic Progress Rate (APR) in the country among Football Bowl Subdivision schools, the NCAA announced.

The statistical analysis covers a four-year period for the academic years of 2008-09 through 2011-12. The football team’s multi-year APR score was a team-record 993, trailing only Northwestern (996).

The score is up from last year’s total of 989, which ranked tied for second nationally with Duke, and behind Northwestern (995).

Last week the Broncos’ football team was honored with a Public Recognition Award from the NCAA for having its multi-year score rank in the top-10 percent of FBS schools, the third-consecutive year Boise State has received the accolade.

recognition is certainly in order for such an impressive athletic and academic display. however, the White-friendly formula for creating such a high-caliber, winning program may not be sufficient to dissuade the Broncos from the multi-culti-forced Negro love affair.

so far, this is their list of commitments for the 2014 recruiting class:

— DB Khalil Oliver, 6-1, 185, Rocky Mountain HS
— QB Jalen Greene, 6-3, 194, Serra HS (Los Angeles)
— CB Brandon Lewis, 5-11, 180, Pleasant Grove HS (Elk Grove, Calif.)
— DL Greg Gaines, 6-1, 290, La Habra (Calif.) HS
— TE Dimitri Flowers, 6-3, 225, Churchill HS (San Antonio)
— RB Squally Canada, 5-10, 185, Milpitas (Calif.) HS

with coal mining like that (all 6 commits are black), their academic excellence will certainly go down the tubes, as will their intricate offensive sets.

Jimmy Chitwood good post man your right on the money. Boise has been one of my favs since the Brock Forsey days. Its too bad winning is not the most important thing in college or pro ball.

The academic side of things is where I get really peeved sometimes. I mean here you have a northwestern state full of intelligent white kids, and they are going to the gutters of LA, and San Antone to get negroes? WTF! Its nauseating.

Lets me ask anybody here an honest question. How many black college athletes really deserve to be in college? How many actually passed their high school classes, and made good enough scores on tests, and exams to belong on a college campus. Id bet its down there around 10% of them. Yet were suppose to believe they are "student" athletes. Imagine how white the NFL would be if "no pass no play" was enforced on blacks. Hell the NFL draft would be 90% white men.

The fact is that they dont have to make their grades. Hell they dont even have to show up for class in most cases.

It's pretty sad to see Boise St. recruit a black quarterback. Boise St.'s rise to prominence was built up from majority white teams and white players making significant contributions.

Just like everything else once it is built up to its greatest point an influx of dark-skinned people are welcomed into the fold and the it's downhill from there.
