Notre Dame is currently playing St. John's on ESPN2 right now. I know Freethinker has posted about how disgusting St. John's has become. I'm actually shocked that I'm seeing their white player out there right now! Jack Cooley and Garrick Sherman have each missed an easy bunny for the Irish, who lead 21-18 at the moment.
St John's certainly is an odious team but they have been this way since I was a kid. The days of Chris Mullin and Bill Wennington have long since passed. ND had a off night and lost. No big deal as St John's is a young, "upside" filled, unpredictable team. They beat Cinci and ND but lost to Rutgers and a mediocre Big South team UNC-Asheville at home.

In more positive news, Doug McDermott went for 30+ again. As always, he was efficient shooting 12-22 from the field. I've been noticing more talk for Doug as POTY. One of the cbssports writers now has him as his frontrunner. Should be an interesting development to follow.

In a minor caste victory, Wisconsin beat #2 Indiana. While I like Indiana, they only start 2 Whites with Sheehey playing the 6th man role. Their bench, especially, was noticeably Whiter last year. In the losing effort, Cody Zeller went for 23 and 10. However, 18 of those points came in the 1st half. They need to do a better job of getting him the ball when it counts.

Wisconsin starts 3 Whites and it would be 4 if not for the injury to Josh Gasser. They also have a super 6th man in freshman Sam Dekker who is ultra talented and destined for stardom in the near future. Mike Bruesewitz had 10 points, Ben Brust 9, Sam Dekker 10 but Jared Berggren only had 5. However, he had the top highlight of the game, posterizing negro Oladipo.

Had to double post as it only allows 1 video per post....

In another highlight moment, Ole Miss and SEC leading scorer Marshall Henderson hit a very deep 3 at the buzzer to tie the game. Ole Miss won in OT. Henderson was fantastic again, scoring 26 points. It seems these "ultra athletic" SEC defenses have no answer for this "white boy".

Caption: Hendo bails out coco teammates

ESPN analyst and former Duke player, Jay Williams, was very complimentary of Henderson after the highlight session. He said something to the effect of, "remember the name Marshall Henderson, you're going to be hearing alot about him". I find Jay Williams to be one of the more fair ESPN employees as well as their most articulate black. He seems to be a "cornball brother".

glad to see you guys talking about Greg McDermott. he's a BAD ASS. virtually invisible on Sportscenter, he's quite possibly the best player in the country ...

here's a quick write-up over his performance over the past two games, wins over Missouri State and Northern Iowa:
OMAHA, Neb. -- Doug McDermott didn't make 14 shots in a row or outscore the opposing team by himself in the second half as he did four nights earlier.

Creighton's national player-of-the-year candidate did, however, turn in another virtuoso performance after halftime Tuesday night.

McDermott overcame a slow start to score 21 of his 31 points in the second half and help the 12th-ranked Bluejays pull away for a 79-68 victory over Northern Iowa.

"I stayed patient and stayed calm," he said. "Like my teammates have done all year, they found me in the right spot. They make me look a lot better than I am. It's a lot of fun to play with these guys."

The Bluejays (17-1, 6-0 Missouri Valley Conference) won their 11th straight game and are off to their best start in program history.

McDermott had his second straight 30-point game and fifth of the season
.

The 6-foot-8 junior forward was never better than he was Friday, when he scored a season-best 39 points in a jaw-dropping performance at Missouri State. After missing three of his first four shots, he made 14 in a row and outscored Missouri State 28-25 in the second half.

Against the Panthers, it looked as if McDermott wanted to pick up where he left off. McDermott made a jump shot from the wing to open the game and kept on shooting. But he missed four straight and ended the half 4 for 10.

"Just the shots that normally go in weren't falling. Sometimes that happens," he said. "So you have to continue to stay with the game and not let that affect the way I play on the other end of the floor."

McDermott got better defensively as the game went on after Jake Koch took it to him the first half. McDermott also rediscovered his shooting touch, making 8 of 12 from the field and all five of his free throws in the second half.

"I don't know that you're going to stop him," UNI coach Ben Jacobson said. "We made a couple mistakes and gave him a couple easy ones. If he gets easy baskets, he's going to get 30 like he did tonight. He had to take 22 shots to get 30. That's not bad, with the way he's played all year. He's hard to slow down."

right now, if i were picking the five best players (as they are performing on the court right now), there would be an abundance of White cats ...

this is my "right at this moment" All-American team:

1) point guard - sophomore Trey Burke (black) - Michigan; OR senior Nate Wolters - South Dakota State. look up the numbers, gentlemen. both of these dudes are incredible. Wolters has to do it all for his Jackrabbits to win ... and he does, and Burke can do it all (except rebound) for the more talented Wolverines.

2) shooting guard - sophomore Tyler Haws - BYU - nobody is talking about this dude, but he's scored 20+ in 12 of his 18 games despite just coming off his Mormon mission. he has a season/career high of 42 and is shooting over 49% from the floor, over 42% from 3-point range, over 91% from the free throw line, and snagging better than 5 rebounds. you heard it here first!

3) forward - junior greg McDermott - Creighton - simply unstoppable on the offensive end of the floor.

4) forward - redshirt junior Kelly Olynyk - Gonzaga - this is not a joke, folks! he might be playing the best basketball of any player in the country right now. simply incredible for a guy who could barely get minutes two years ago and redshirted last year. awesome!

5) forward/center - senior Mason Plumlee - Duke - the best low post player in college basketball today. his high-flying athleticism is the stuff of legend. and to think he's improved every area of his game from a year ago ... he terrifies every team he plays against.

Nice list. At least you are objective with most of your views.
What is fascinating to me is that Tyler Haws can come back from a 2 year LDS mission and still perform at a high level. I have seen many very athletic BYU football players come back from missions and most of them never retain their full skills. I am sure most posters here are aware that when BYU sends there athletes out on missions they are not allowed to participate in any kind of athletic endeavor or any type of training. I am amazed so many do come back and at least contribute , albeit minimally.

Nice list there, Jimmy! I agree with your list. All of those guys are very deserving to be on it.

Right now, Michigan is currently beating Tubby's Gophers on ESPN in a top 10 matchup. Michigan has used a few different white players tonight. Nik Stauskas, Mitch McGary, and Spike Albrecht have all gotten some nice minutes tonight. Tim Hardaway had a nice game tonight with 20 points.

Stauskas had a nice night with 11 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.
McGary had some foul trouble tonight, but finished with 8 points, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist.

Also, not to nitpick, but the players' name is Doug McDermott; his dad Greg is the head coach of Creighton. :p

Wow!!! What a game! Roosevelt Jones steals the Zags' inbounds pass with 3.5 seconds left, and wins it at the buzzer for Butler! This was an awesome game to watch, and what a win for Butler without Rotnei Clarke! Jones played a great game tonight for Butler, finishing with 20 points. Kellen Dunham had 14 points on 4-9 shooting. Andrew Smith had 7 points and 7 rebounds. Alex Barlow played an outstanding game (besides that late traveling.) Barlow played outstanding defense on Kevin Pangos, holding him to 5 points. Barlow himself scored 5 points, had 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal.

In a losing effort, Kelly Olynyk had 14 points and 9 rebounds.

Well, in the Maryland-Duke game I've been watching, Maryland has been the whiter team so far, giving playing time to 3 whites to just to for Duke. Also, Maryland had two white starters, Alex Len and Jake Layman compared to just Mason Plumlee for Duke.

Also, Villanova's white PG, Ryan Arcidiancono hit a game tying 3 at the buzzer to send their game with Syracuse into OT, which Nova ended up winning.

Virginia, who started 3 Whites last night, knocked off #19 NC State. Virginia was lead by the all around talents of Joe Harris. The junior had 22 points and 4 rebounds. On the season he leads the Cavaliers in scoring at 14.8 per game. Freshman center Mike Tobey added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks off the bench. 3rd leading scorer, freshman Evan Nolte, had an off night and sharpshooter Paul Jesperson was held scoreless. Virginia is now 5-2 in ACC play and looks like a tournament bound team. Looking forward, all 4 White contributors will return next season as well!

Indiana State knocked off the darker #15 ranked Wichita State on the road by 13! The Sycamores start 3 pale faces and are lead by do it all point guard Jake Odum. Good win.

In the headline game of the night between 2 coal-laden SEC squads, 2 White athletes lead the way. For the winning side, Kyle Wiltjer had 26 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. All off the bench! You see even though Kyle was a top recruit out of HS, he still has less upside than inferior negros like Julius Mays and Ryan Harrow who start. Kyle is averaging 12 ppg and could be another Ryan Kelly player or better but not with Kentucky. He'll never start as there will always be 5 star recruits coming in to take his opportunity. He should use that large White brain between his ears and transfer to a program like Duke, Bulter, Wisconsin or Gonzaga before it's too late.

Indiana State's Jake Odum had 22 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in a big upset over #16 Creighton. RJ Mahurin added 17 points.

From the Twilight Zone department: St John's started a White athlete

it was a loooooong week at work, but a terrific week on the hardwood. 5 games saw teams ranked in the Top 5 knocked off on the road (Kansas lost twice) by unranked teams, and there were outstanding performances by "White" teams and dominant performances by White athletes (even when they were the lone bright spot on the court).

one of my favorite players, Nate Wolters had back-to-back HUGE games. he exploded for 53 points on Thursday (while shooting over 60% from the floor), the highest point total by a collegiate player since 2009, in a win. Wolters then went for 36 last night (and once again hit 60% from the floor), while adding 6 rebounds and 7 assists (to just 2 turnovers) albeit in a loss to Oakland.

Oakland's outstanding sharp-shooter, Travis Bader went for a team-high 31 in the win, knocking down 9 three-pointers. NINE! wow! before Wolters set the mark, Bader had held the top spot for single-game scoring this year, pouring in 47 (and knocked down 11 3-pointers; ELEVEN!!!) in a win on January 24.

Wisconsin faced off against Michigan in what turned out to be a VERY good game, with an NCAA Tournament feel to it. both teams played an exceptionally clean, tough game with very few fouls or turnovers, and neither could pull away. additionally, both teams featured lineups that had as many as 4 White athletes on the court. the game featured some amazing shots at the end of regulation, including a near-half-court heave by guard Ben Brust that sent the contest into overtime. and it was Brust's 3-pointer in overtime that provided the final margin for the Badgers' win. as a side note, both teams were coming off overtime wins: Wisconsin knocked off Iowa in double-ot on Wednesday (another very good game featuring terrific White talent), and Michigan defeated Ohio State in ot on Tuesday. perhaps the highlight of the game, aside from Brust's cold-blooded clutch shooting, was Jared Berggren's amazing dunk:

speaking of overtime games, Notre Dame's epic 5-overtime victory over Louisville will likely be remembered for a looooong time. despite have nearly their entire starting lineup on the bench with 5 fouls, the Irish managed to make big play after big play and kept hanging on, until finally guard Pat Connaughton's free throw gave them the necessary cushion. Connaughton finished the game with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and 7 assists (to just 1 turnover) in 56 minutes. you read that right, 56 minutes! Jack Cooley had a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards (and 2 blocks) before fouling out. but perhaps the most surprising figure for Notre Dame was junior center, Garrick Sherman.

Sherman didn't even set foot on the court for the Irish until overtime, yet he finished with 17 points (on 7 of 10 shooting) and 6 rebounds and just 1 turnover in 21 minutes. give him some more playing time, coach!

for Louisville, Luke Hanc0ck's 22 points weren't enough (because he simply didn't get enough looks), as negro guard Russ Smith managed to ball-hog his way to the loss. Smith connected on 4 of 19 from the floor with only 3 assists in 56 minutes (with 3 turnovers). ouch.

Gonzaga got another nearly perfect night from power forward Kelly Olynyk in an easy win. the big man went 7-8 from the floor and 6-6 from the line en route to 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists (and just 2 turnovers), and 2 blocked shots. Kevin Pangos added 20 more (on 7 of 11 shooting).

as one pundit put it, the Zags are so good it's almost boring. they play again on Thursday night, when they square off against WCC rival Saint Mary's on ESPN2.

Saint Mary's also cruised to a win over San Diego, behind the stellar play of point guard Matthew Dellavedova (who along with Wolters would provide my dream backcourt of this year's college players). "Delly," as he's called, scored 19 (on 7 of 16 from the floor), snared 4 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists with just 2 turnovers in 37 minutes. he is an amazing player. on a side note, SMC has a guy who comes off the bench that i really like. Beau Levesque (pronounced Luh-veck) is a high energy, bouncy forward who can guard multiple positions and can score without having plays run for him. he's fun to watch.

in the loss, San Diego's terrific 6-foot shooting guard Johnny Dee went for 19 points and 7 rebounds. Dee is the WCC's second-leading scorer. i don't know if he's been mentioned on the boards before ...

Butler tried to give the game away against George Washington, nearly blowing a 14-point lead in the final 4 minutes, before finally holding on to win by 3. Rotnei Clarke led all scorered with 14, but it was an ugly win on the road. still, it was a win.

Creighton, though, managed to lose at home to Illinois State, despite 24 points and 13 rebounds from Doug McDermott and 16 points and 7 rebounds from Grant Gibbs. ultimately, they couldn't stop ISU's negro guard Tyler Brown who had an outstanding second half, and finished with a game-high 27.

nobody has mentioned EJ Singler on the forums in quite a while, which is a shame, because he is the reason Oregon is in the Top-25. the less-heralded Singler brother is now a senior and is the unquestioned leader and best player for the Ducks, who were picked to finish in the cellar of the Pac-12. thanks to Singler, though, they are surprising everyone. EJ went off for a game-high 21 points (on 4 of 6 shooting, and 12-13 from the line) while chipping in with 8 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, and a blocked shot to lead the Ducks over Utah.

a couple of other White players on otherwise very dark teams are Florida's Erik Murphy and Kentucky's Kyle Wiltjer. Murphy went for 17 points (on 7 of 10 shooting) and 7 rebounds in a Gator win on Saturday. Wiltjer scored a team-high 14 off the bench in a Wildcat win. the two face off on Tuesday.

there were several other performances of note, but i think that'll do it for now.

oh! #1 Indiana plays #10 Ohio State today at noon (central) on CBS. OSU's Aaron Craft is the best defensive guard in the country, but he's the only White contributor for the Buckeyes. Indiana's talented trio of Zeller, Hulls, and Sheehey, make this a no-brainer for the Caste Football fan club.

later today, Duke (and their PoY candidate Mason Plumlee) take on Boston College, who is very White for an ACC team.

Thanks for posting about those games, Jimmy! I was going to try and post about a couple of them, but I was very busy yesterday as well. I think Butler let GW back into the game because their two best centers, Andrew Smith and Erik Fromm, both fouled out with around 4 minutes left in the game, and it let the Colonials back in.

Gonzaga should find themselves in the Top 5 after Kansas' and the rest of the recent struggles of Top 5 teams.

I watched the entire 2nd half and the 5 OTs in the Notre Dame Louisville game, and I'll agree with Jimmy that Sherman definitely needs to see more time after that great OT game he had!

One player who deserves mention is Virginia's Joe Harris. This guy is a baller. As the Wahoo's best player, he is also their leading scorer, averaging nearly 16 points per game, and also plays outstanding defense. When Harris is on, Virginia is very, very tough to beat. In addition to Joe Harris, Virginia gives playing time to several more white players, including one more starter, guard Paul Jesperson. Off the bench for the Cavs comes point guard Taylor Barnette, sharpshooter Evan Nolte, and big center Mike Tobey. The Cavaliers will often have 3 white players on the court at once, and are definitely a team to cheer for this year. Harris had 21 points in the Cavs' blowout of all-black Clemson on Thursday.

Indiana State won a close game with Southern Illinois yesterday too. The Sycamores were led by RJ Mahurin's 16 points, and Jake Odum's 13 points. Hopefully, these guys will be able to punch their ticket to the Big Dance this year!

I didn't remember Freethinker's post about Virginia when I gave a breakdown about them. Sorry about that, Freethinker!

Anyway, our guys had some great games again this weekend.

Penn State played hard against Michigan today, but it wasn't enough today, as Trey Burke, Glenn Robinson, and Nick Stauskas all had tremendous games for the Wolverines. Stauskas had 18 points.

Several Badgers had good games today in Wisconsin's destruction of Ohio State. Ben Brust, Jared Berggren, and Sam Dekker all had good games for Wisconsin. Brust and Berggren had 15 each, and 11(!) and 8 rebounds respectively. Sam Dekker had 13 points. This guy is going to be a player!! Wisconsin is very fun to watch lately, playing some great team basketball.

Butler rebounded well from the lost at home to Charlotte earlier this week, getting a much needed win at Fordham yesterday. Rotnei Clarke again paced the Bulldogs with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Andrew Smith, returning a game early from his injury, chipped in 12 points and 2 rebounds.

Maryland center Alex Len completely dominated Mason Plumlee in the Terps' upset of the Blue Devils yesterday. The Ukrainian had 19 points and 9 rebounds, while Plumlee was held to 4 points and 3 rebounds, in addition to fouling out. This really isn't a caste win, as Maryland often had 2-3 whites on the floor for most of the game, compared to 1-2 for Duke for only part of the game.

The high powered Indiana Hoosiers completely ran the less talented Purdue Boilermakers off the floor yesterday, 83-55. The Hoosiers were led by Will Sheehey and Cody Zeller. Sheehey was a perfect 9/9 from the field, leading both teams with 22 points. Cody Zeller also had 19 points and 9 rebounds.

Kelly Olynkyk continues his impressively dominate play, scoring 26 points and adding 9 boards against the Dons of San Francisco. Gonzaga is in the running for a number 1 seed, completely destroying most of the competition in the West Coast Conference.

Also, Creighton's Doug McDermott passed 2,000 points for his career as Creighton snapped their 3 game skid against Evansville. McDermott posted a double double with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Joe Harris is absolutely blowing the doors off of Mason Plumlee and the Blue Devils tonight! He has a career high 32 points as Virginia is up dobule digits with 2:48 left! Virginia always has had 2-3 whites on the court when I've been watching them. Duke, for the most part, sticks with Plumlee or has no whites on the floor. Alex Murphy will get in sometimes, to give them 2.

Yea, this was a great result. In all years of being aware of the caste system, I can't think of too many times I was happy to see Duke lose. Jesperson, Nolte and Tobey had quiet games but with Harris leading the way to the tune of 36 points, they are far more White friendly than a Ryan Kelly-less Duke.

The other game of note was the Whiteout of Gonzaga vs BYU. BYU took the upcoming #1 team in the country to the limit before finally losing 70-65. Olynyk lead the way (as usual) with 19 points and 2 blocks but only 3 rebounds. The Bulldogs started their 3 usual Whites (Olynyk, Pangos and Hart) as well as giving minutes to 4 of our guys off the bench (Stockton, Barham, Dranginis and Karnowski). They are now 28-2 on the season with a 15-0 record in the WCC. On the losing side, BYU started 4 Whites with Haws, Zylstra and Cusick leading the way. Tyler Haws is averaging nearly 21 points a game this season!

Ryan Kelly is back and he had a monster game to save Duke. Coach K said that it was one of the greatest colleges performances that he had ever seen. I hope he gets back to more fair recruiting as he and Duke are ignoring what kind of kids brought them so much success.

Gonzaga is probably gonna be ranked number one in the new top 25 poll but even if they are still ranked two, they are the best team in the country right now. I have to give credit to Butler too as they are 1 of only 2 teams to beat the Zags.

 (spot-on brother)
every team, coach, & program (including Duke) is now viewed under the lens of die-versity.. so it's hard to have that reputation as a program of clean-cut White guys without DWF (and/or Black) detractors in the media.. my guess is, that scrutiny & pressure has unfortunately affected Duke's recruiting practices (?)
I remember in the 'Fab Five 30 for 30' documentary, Jalen Rose candidly gave voice to that resentment of successful White teams/programs. I actually appreciated Rose's candor.. I just wish more DWFs & Liberals could comprehend that animosity that's aimed at us.. so..
anyways, to Duke's credit they do have 2 great Whiteboys right now in Plumlee & Kelly. I'm rooting for 'em.

A pretty good caste match-up tonight on TV with Notre Dame, starting three whites, against coal black St. John's.....ND up 41-34 in the second half.

If anybody is interested in watching a fun mid-major team, Belmont is currently playing an all-black Tennessee State team on ESPNU. The Bruins start two whites, and will usually have between two and three on the floor most of the game. Belmont also has a few white subs that will play right away in the game.

Also, I was checking through the box scores, and the 2nd seed in the Patriot League, Lafayette, is also a team to root for. The Leopards started four whites in their game against Holy Cross. They are led in scoring by guard Seth Hinrichs, who had 20 against Holy Cross. This kid is leading the team in scoring at nearly 15 PPG, and also averages 5 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

If anybody is still up, you can watch some outstanding white talent on ESPNU. BYU and their outstanding guard, Tyler Haws, is playing sharpshooter Johnny Dee and the San Diego Torreros.
