Some good news about the Texans from Rotoworld to start off the day. It looks like Brooks Reed and Connor Barwin will be bookend OLBs.

The Texans are indeed planning to use second-round pick Brooks Reed at outside linebacker in 2011.
Reed was a defensive end at the University of Arizona, but was ticketed as a likely OLB throughout the draft process, and should join Connor Barwin on the outside in Houston if everything goes to plan. DeMeco Ryans and Brian Cushing will man the middle in new DC Wade Phillips' 3-4 system.

The way Amendola has been treated is criminal. He was their leading WR late into the season even though he wasn't a starter.
