that is depressing, i would have rather them gone with Ingram. Vereen is like a a very very poor man's Woodhead, and they were already talking about how he could replace Faulk's role. I don't even think he has the skillset to be as good as Kevin Faulk. Where does that leave Woodhead who was a much better version of Faulk? An afterthought after putting up 1,000 from scrimmage with 5.6 ypc?

Veeren is not that fast, agile, and terrible balance as well as ball security. You couldve gotten a better back in Chase Reynolds imo. Chase is a little smaller but could easily add 10 to 20 pounds with an NFL training regimen. He would be a poor man's Woodhead, he has the hands and his agility is good but nowhere near the elite level of Woodhead, so more of running style of Green-Ellis, could replace either of them if they needed to, and he wouldn't have cost a 2nd.

Another sumo for the Rooney Freaks! And, to think, they could have had Lee Ziemba..

I can't believe Gruden praised the body of Marvin Austin..

and he said something like this was a "weak class of linebackers," refering to the inside backers in particular. What an idiot!

Nate Irving gets picked, and the MSM has no problem with his small frame, but a White man would be called "undersized or a finesse-type backer"...

Thanks for the running coverage of the draft, everyone! It is nice to come here and get good info without having to sort through all the caste system propaganda on the rest of the web.

Kiper actually "critiqued" (LSUs) Kelvin Sheppard.. guy doesn't have a "burst"..

Akeem Dent and several Whites are clearly better.

It's really turned wretched in round two and so far in round three. The Patriots have drafted two RBs in a row (apparently Woodhead and the law firm were a weak link rather than a strong one), and the Packers have drafted a WR who many DWFs will want to start opposite Greg Jennings rather than Jordy Nelson. It's almost seems like that old unwritten NFL rule coming to the surface again -- a team can only be so White friendly before retrenching.

I hope things pick up in this round. Ryan Mallet went to New England, where he could be Brady's successor.

Mallett will never play.
Brady has at least five more seasons in him. By then, some new hotshot will be available in the draft and Mallett will be forgotten about. Sucks for him. But it happens to the majority of white football players.

The Patriots know how to load up on draft picks, but someone needed to tell them that when you have two good RBs that you don't need two more in the first three rounds. On the bright side they haven't replaced Ninkovich and Mike Wright...yet.

Yeah, apparantly Woodhead and Green-Ellis aren't very good. I don't know what the Pats were thinking with those two picks.

"Big big run on defensive tackles" is how Mike Mayock just put it. The NFL is so predictable. There's a big run on black defensive tackles every draft -- because most of the ones drafted early end up as flops to varying degrees, necessitating their constant replacement with a new batch of sumos destined to be busts.

Ridley has the agility of a 280 pound fullback, stuck in the body of a 225 pound back. He could run over people in college but that won't work in the pros.

My thoughts exactly.

The media was pushing the notion that the Patriots needed a RB very hard. Since when does a team with a 25 year-old 1,000 yard rusher and a 26 year-old back-up with nearly 1,000 yards from scrimmage need a RB early? I guess the idea of a small White RB really irritated the caste media.

The Patriots were 9th in rushing and 9th in ypc last season.

We are at the "nobodies" black DB and linemen portion of the draft...

The Ravens just picked OT Jah Reid, who looked pretty white in the pic of him they showed.

Well the running back from LSU has no chance to make it in the NFL. I had him ranked undrafted He is 5'10 210 and runs a 4.66 forty. I think Roy Helu who has the same size and ran a 4.45 would have been a much better pick. Pats need a Linebacker and maybe a WR to replace Ben Tate.

All though on my board I had Cam Newton Number 4 and Mallet number 9. Son I disagree with Belichek on the Mallet decision too.

I think Kiper just mentioned Shane Vereen like 20 times in 1 minute, praising him for his versatility. Yeah no agenda there.....
