The Browns need a right tackle, and a right guard, and at least one receiver. At least they traded back in the draft for more picks, but Taylor has bones growing together in his feet, can't be fixed with surgery, just have to deal with the pain over time. Luckily with the hyping of sumos there are plenty of white guys left to pick for the line. Castonzo is still out there I believe as well as Carimi. Well the Colts were smart and just picked up Anthony. Carimi might fall to Browns. If you haven't seen Phil, there isn't much to see. Hes big and can move, not that fast and not that strong, but hes big! I guess thats all that some people care about with defensive tackles.
He might have weight issues already. He is 335 pounds and is only about 21 or 22. What will he weigh near the end of his rookie contract. Well some fast food franchisee is going to get rich of this guy....

Even though the runningback plummet means no white RBs will be drafted this year, I'm loving seeing Ingram's pained expressions as he waits in his ugly ass suit.

So happy to see the Patriots take Solder, I remember someone else here pointed out that Patriots had actually been choosing a lot of affletes that last few years. Maybe this draft they can acquire some white talent for the next season.

I just hope the Patriots don't wind up taking Ingram. For some reason every mock has them taking him at 28. I didn't think it was possible with Bellicheck but still worried, thought the Dolphins or the Saints wouldve picked him.

Ridiculous pick. I'm going to enjoy caste slut Pete Carroll's run of mediocrity or worse in Seattle.

Not to mention that Baldwin is a big-time prima donna.

I don't think it's the end of the world if the Pats take Ingram. Ingram will be groomed as the eventual replacement for Lawfirm (it could mean Lawfirm is traded which could bring another good player to the Pats). Lawfirm is very solid and runs with passion. Lawfirm is a classy guy who doesn't mind having Woodhead taking some carries from him, but Lawfirm is very popular with his teammates and Pats fans. If a new guy like Ingram, who hasn't proven himself at the NFL level yet, comes in to take Lawfirm's role- Woodhead's carries could actually increase a bit without causing a stir.

I doubt, with Woody only having 97 carries that his workload will DECREASE. Especially with how popular he is. Another thing to think about is even if Ingram has better efficiency than Lawfirm (which won't be easy) I still think Woody will lead the Pats in YPC most years, which will only benefit Woody's reputation in the eyes of fans to beat a Heisman winner in any category.

I'm sure Ingram would be popular in NE, but Woody is already VERY popular there. Woodhead is seen in the eyes of most NE fans as Kevin Faulk with better acceleration. Of course CF knows he's faster and has even more agility in tight space than Faulk too, but some NE fans are learning this.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

I've been out tonight, but this has been a great draft so far! I wonder how long it's been since the Redskins have drafted a non-QB white player in the 1st round?

This is a lot better than last year's so far. Carimi, Reed, and Dalton could all come off the board yet.

Ingram went off the board to the Saints just now.

Even the Bears show some common sense and pick the best choice to bolster their perpetually bad non-White dominated o-line.

9 Whites taken with 3 picks to go. Will we hit double digits?

A worthless group of Jets fans cheering and foaming at the mouth after some African was announced as the 30th pick.

If we do get to 10 Whites in the first round, that has to be a recent high. Does anyone know when was the last time this many Whites went in the first round? It's a huge improvement over last year's disaster.

Steelers pick Cameron Hayward, ensuring they'll have an all-black d-line within a season or two with Keisel and Smith nearing the end of their careers. All black on defense, with Big Ben and maybe Heath Miller and a token White on the o-line looks to be their make-up for the next few years at least.

Excellent job by PIT, what a truly diverse roster they're building over there. The Rooney family must be so proud.

GB should have taken Brooks Reed or Bruce Miller. Chris White will also be a steal for some team.Edited by: Deadlift

Wow, i feel good for Jake Locker!  The Titans have made a great pick.

The new Titan coach said he was going to run a new operation. It looks like he meant it.

Well the Patriots were smart, traded back with the Saints so they could get Ingram, who has the same exact skillset as the guy already on their roster, Pierre Thomas. It would be funny to see Thomas actually stay healthy the entire year and outperform him.

I wonder who will take Tyler Sash. He was updated to NFLdraftscout's top SS.

I don't mind the Sherod Pick, although it would have been better if Carimi was there. If GB is worried about Jermichael Finley not coming back strong after a serious meniscus tear it might be nice to see them take Jordan Cameron or Rob Housler at the end of the 3rd round. I think GB should go defense next round though. Maybe they'll be the ones to pick Sash as they are strong at LB and solid at DT/DE and Charles Woodson is still playing at a high level along with Tramon Williams at CB.

I heard RB mentioned as a possible pick day two for the Pack. They could find depth in the last two rounds with either a black RB like Roy Helu, Dion Lewis or Noel Devine. Of course GB could be smart and simply sign underrated Chase Reynolds or Jake Sharp as an UDFA and not use a draft pick on a RB.

Unfortunately even the defending Superbowl winners aren't above criticism if the whitest team in the NFL gets whiter.

DWF: "The best team in the league added a few more whites to their roster and have just eclipsed 50% white in a 75% white country...Are they racist?"

BTW, Greg Salas has really jumped up draft boards and is even on Mel and McGay's radars. Salas is NFLdraftscout's 10th ranked WR, he would have been a better pick for the Chiefs than Baldwin.

I hope the Falcons pick up Rudolph or a guy like Cameron at TE.If they draft well at this position they will be a great team to root for offensively.Denver could draft Rudolph which would also be great.
Belichick will be insane to pass up on Thor and even more insane if he picks Ayers instead.

Couple thoughts, the Panthers picking Scam first is a good pick. This will allow him to fail just like Russell. I also can't believe the Redskins picked a white player.

Observations from Round 1...

I agree with bigunreal that if Newton wasn't the overall #1 pick, there'd be charges of "raycissm". That's what it's come to in this country. Hopefully he'll end up like Russell.

Harbaugh disappoints by taking Smith over Watt.

The Patriots and Colts are smart. The Bears and Eagles realize that the Patriots and Colts are smart.

Green Bay disappoints...bye bye "snow plow".

Shanahan is a big improvement for the Blackskins.

I'm OK with Green going to Cincy, don't think this will negatively impact Shipley.

Agree with snow that Meier could fill the role that Jones will obviously take.

Now with Green and Jones taken, I wonder who the Patriots will take as their "big body" receiver.
