Chris Johnson had 5 yards on 7 carries yesterday, and 2 yards on 2 receptions. Nothing like going all out to help your rookie QB in his first start. I didn't watch much of the game but it looks like the Titans have quit after Vince Young's latest meltdown, just like they did last year when they went 0-6 until Jeff "Casteboy" Fisher was forced to bench Kerry Collins.

Looks like Pete Ittersagen has emerged again. Probably setting himself up to do his best Dustin Fox impression in the NFL. Always on a PS, teases you with playing time in the preseason.

It's a horrible shame, Ittersagen is a heck of a player.

Some wishful thinking from Jeff Fisher. It's apt to describe the locker room's attitude as "All We Do Is Lose" when the great VY isn't starting.

Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said the team's locker room has become a better place since QB Vince Young (thumb) was placed on Injured Reserve and essentially banished from the team, according to Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com. Young clashed with Fisher in the locker room following a defeat last month to the Washington Redskins. "My gut feel is that the locker room is much better because of his actions after the game," Fisher said in remarks distributed by NFL Network. "There's no excuse for what he did. I think to a man, most everybody in that locker room would disagree with his actions, and so from that standpoint he's probably better off not being here. But he's welcome to come back and rehab."

The best thing that could happen to Pete Ittersagen is to get cut and picked up by the Pats. If Belichick had the courage to go get another "small white guy" he will probaly be thought of as a racist at this point. McCourty is the only good corner on that team, Ittersagen could start.

"The Titans have placed DE Dave Ball and CB Ryan Mouton on injured reserve, meaning they'll miss the remainder of the season. To fill the roster spots they signed DL Hall Davis and CB Pete Ittersagen off their practice squad."

Awesome! Without Fisher there to muck things up, AHDIW will most likely now be staying, and can continue his mediocre quarterbacking! I'm glad that I can now look forward to satirizing Radio's ineptitude next season as a continuing member of the downward-spiralling Titans!

My guess:
The Titans will keep Young. Adams will bring in a "spread guru" to completely reshape the offense to fit him. He will have one good year (that's always going to happen when you introduce something new to the samey-samey NFL) and ESPN will declare him one of the NFL's Top Franchise Quarterbacks. After that, it doesn't matter how badly he plays. He'll always be able to keep a starting job somewhere based on the false belief that he's a superstar.

Yep, after well over a decade of having job security, almost 2 (what as it 17 years?),he broke the rules. Benching a black quarterback and didn't have another black one to replace him with. He probably didn't have plans on using a black qb next year either. Thats a big no no. I mean everyone knows you have to give a black quarterback 10 years to develop. DUH. On top of that he had a white kick returner that went to the pro bowl! He almost came close to losing it after 2004, with a 1,000+ yard white receiver and a white quarterback filling in for McNair, Volek who had back to back 400 yard passing games, but he made sure that Volek never got a real chance to start again and phased Bennett out of the game plan until he was gone, and made sure to get Vince Young once McNair was gone. You just can't have a white guy come in for a black qb, have a 400 yard passing game and a white receiver having a 200 yard receiving game! Thats against the rules! Notice how Mangini was only given 2 short years as a Browns head coach. I wonder if playing Hillis had anything to do with that. It was kind of weird that Shanahan was fired after starting Hillis for several games. I still can't figure out why Shanahan was fired, he just needed a better defense. Weird how coaches with blacker teams tend to have more job security, and having a black qb usually means job security, at least if the guy is mediocre, like David Garrard and Jack Del Rio in Jacksonsville. But as dwfs say, "why would a coach risk his job and not play the best players!?! the ultimate goal is to win the superbowl!" Then there is Jeff Fisher, 17 years of coaching and 5 playoff wins, no Superbowl wins, one appearance. It was said Shanahan had simply been there too long and they needed fresh blood, he was with the Broncos 14 years, 2 superbowl wins and has 4 less wins than Fisher, with 3 years less to coach the team. More playoff appearances and more playoff wins. Shanahan was 8-5 and Fisher was 5-6 in the playoffs. Overall Shanahan was 138-86 and Fisher 142-120.

Pure conjecture on my part but I bet the locker room made it clear after benching the brutha Fisher lost and would never regain that locker room again. Just a hunch that there was a player revolt, no proof as of yet.

Hillis played a part in it for sure. Like I wrote awhile ago in the Browns thread Mangini is dangerous to the MSM and NFL. Recruited Danny Woodhead and stashed him on the practice squad when Jets GM Mike Tannebaum set the roster and left him off, groomed Eric Smith for a starting Safety position, white linebacker friendly, white WR friendly, used white WR Mike Furrey as a WR and safety, traded for and dared to start Hillis, picked Jake Delhomme over midget black quarterback Seneca Wallace ect. If the choice came down to an afflectic black or a Polynesian I notice he went with the Poly instead. The NFL wouldn't have been happy with that, a heavily white and Poly squad?

Point being he wasn't afraid to let white players play the skilled positions. That presented an issue that thanks to Hillis is back on the forefront. It is awfully strange that the GM was abruptly fired three months into the job, replaced by Caste Warriors with black quarterback in tow.

Here's a little blurb on Titan's safety Nick Schommer. I think he'll be a future stud in Tennessee, and the Titans seem high on him, even though Homoworld isn't.

The Titans reportedly considered benching SS Chris Hope late in the season in favor of Nick Schommer.
Hope ultimately talked them out of it, but it isn't a good sign for his future in Tennessee -- and especially not with a $6.5 million salary coming in 2011. The Titans reportedly like Schommer's physicality and playmaking ability in practice. Ideally, they'd find someone with better cover skills.

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports Titans WR Kenny Britt was arrested on three counts, including evading and lying to police, after a car chase Tuesday afternoon. Police attempted to pull over Britt at 4:30 p.m. ET Tuesday, only to have Britt put the pedal to the metal in an effort to outrun the long arm of the law. Britt stopped the car after a few miles and tried to walk away as if he had been the passenger in the Porsche. Britt was charged with eluding a police officer (third-degree felony), lying to an officer hindering apprehension, and obstructing governmental function (misdemeanors). Britt's run-ins with the law since entering the league include two traffic related arrests, an assault claim from a November bar fight, and trouble related to bail for rapper friend Albee Al Robinson. Much like Dez Bryant, he's a directionless 22-year-old kid during the lockout.

Britt has been an idiot all along. I'll give him a few more years before he commits a very serious crime( aggravated assault, murder, drug dealing) and gets put away for a while. I thought it was poverty keeping the black man down. I'm sure Britt isn't poor.
