2010 NFL COMBINE

Gerhart proving it once and for all, 4.53 40 and 22 reps at 225, what more proof can be needed that he has the speed to match the power?

I saw the 1st run. Toby sorta sutter stepped approx half way through the dash. If he doesn't have that sutter step in the second run, maybe he will break the high 4s.

Sorry for second post but GERHART FASTER THAN MCCLUSTER! Gerhart 4.53, McCluster 4.55!!!!!!!

Tebow ran 6.66 in cone drill...WOW he tore it up! Better than avg CB's!!!

<div></div>At 241 Blount ran 4.62....what will Gerhart run at 231??

are you sure he ran a 6.66 in the cone? that is kind of ironic being how religious he is
wow, that is pretty funny.

TG looked like he came out of the power drive phase of his sprint a bit early. I think his second time will be better yet.

I hope this kid gets a shot at featured back.

Tebow is shutting up the critics as well.

This what I just posted on LSU-Rivals website..
Anthony Dixon at 233 runs 4.67; Blount at 241 runs 4.62 Dwyer at 229 runs 4.59.....

So I guess the negative racist Stereo-type's that thought Toby Gerhart should play FULLBACK running 4.53 at 231 lbs can sit down....only Gerhart had more to prove WHY?? Why didn't the other big backs have to prove it too??

Tebow tore-it up in cone drills with better time than average CB's...and vertical leap of 38 1/2..white men can jump!

Great job, Toby! He should take a leap up on draft boards after that. Scouts and Coaches should like what they see for Toby. Toby also ran faster thann supposed "speed back" midget McCluster.

TG second run was 4.58, I thought he could crack the 4s. Oh well, not a bad combine for him.

4.53 or 4.58 is more than enough speed for a 230 pound back with good running instincts. This is faster than Earl Campbell, for example.

How does exactly the pro day differ from today's combines? Anyone know?

Thx dwid, guess that is the reason for the faster 40 times. Was looking at the turf at the combines, it looked like shag carpet. I reason for a more realistic time.

Watching Toby, one beacon of hope amoungst the affelets, which is iratating me.

Now they are changing the times, apparently Toby is now slower than 4.58. cant find the time. McCluster falls from 4.56 to 4.58, but somehow Gerhart goes from 4.53-slower than 4.58?

He had a 38 inch vertical, which put him in the leaders, and 9'10 broad jump which also put him in the leaders for pos

dwid I noticed the same thing. I guess its the average of both 40 times, but it should be lower than 4.58. If you averge both it should be 4.55, something, surprise is afoot!!!

Think they're updating with official times and don't think they've gotten to Gerhart yet. Sure we'll know official "electronic" time soon.

I think they said the official times were updated. Yesterday Pitta ran a 4.63 and I am pretty sure it is official, yet its not listed on the site as being in the top (conveniently left out) but dwfs not seeing Toby in the top they think his official time is now 4.6+\

I hope someone has a recording of this, and has the ability to review the "official" time. I know a student at Virginia Tech was able to do this for pro day resultsEdited by: dwid
