there are some legitimate points in this thread thus far, but in my opinion you guys are missing some of the more blatant cases that illustrate the caste system. i'll provide a couple of quick ones to show what i mean.

example #1: Daniel Orton (6-10 freshman, Kentucky) didn't start a single game in his only season of collegiate basketball, although he did appear in all 38 (averaging just 13.2 minutes). he averaged a "whopping" 3.4 points-per-game and a "phenomenal" 3.3 rebounds-per-game. yet, "somehow" this "phenomenal" talent has been projected to go in the First Round of every mock draft i've seen. most have him going in the top-20 picks. seriously, WTF?!?

example #2: Tiny Gallon (6-9 freshman, Oklahoma) is a 300-plus-pound fat ass. on top of that, he's an immature dumbass whowas suspended indefinitely fortaking money froman agent before the season was over. one last bit, he's aball-hogging wannabe-point guard who put upless thandominatingnumbers (10.3 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 0.8 blocks, 0.8 assists, 2.3 turnovers)despite being the only big man ona team that sucked (OK went 13-18 last year). he is projected to be drafted in the Second Round by every mock draft i've looked at.

there are several other eye-opening profiles of "supah affletes"that you guys could (and should) be pointing out to the DWFs.

meanwhile, there are numerous, completely dominant White players who either aren't considered draftable prospects at all, or are marginal, late-round picks who are projected to go later than the two aforementioned turds in my post.

Coach Dantoni and GM Donnie Walsh continue to change the character and make-up of the Knicks. They just made an excellent 2nd round pick -- Andy Rautins, Syracuse.

This could be a greatfit for him,because ifthe Knicksdo sign a couple big time free agents and re-sign David Lee, they won't have much money to sign re-treads as backups, meaning a lesser paid second rounder could stick. Once this kid gets his foot in door, I think he can prove he's worthy to stay.

Jon Scheyer undrafted. This shows the incredible racism of the NBA. What does a white player have to do . Kentucky which was destroyed by West Virginia has 5 players drafted in the first round. Duke which destroys West Virginia and wins the National Championship has no one selected. When has a national championship winner not had their leading scorer drafted? Any white who pays money to watch these low IQ freaks in a league where no American white with a few exceptions are welcomed is the biggest wuss . How could any self respecting white person waste their time on the NBA. Whites should start their own league but of course, it will never happen. I think although whites degrade blacks' intelligence ,blacks run the country. We are in a depression due mainly to billions and billions of dollars to fund homes for blacks, and to give money to the bottomless pit of education to fund the fantasy that blacks have the same IQ as whites. The insane law that started this depression is still operating. Banks must make loans to blacks no matter how much of a credit risk they are. With that law which figuratively holds a gun to bankers' heads, we will never recover economically. It's amazing to consider how little blacks pay in taxes, and how much they receive in preferences for jobs , schools and loans they are qualified to have, funding for their schools. Michael Levin made the point in his book that blacks in a way are smarter than whites because they contribute very little but have whites pay for their preferred status in our society. He is referring to how they have a parasitic relationship with whites. Their parasitic success is, again referring to Levin's book, is likely due to their well known lack of empathy for others especially for any whites. While the brainless whites are worried about AIDS in Africa, blacks wolf packs roam big cities look for white prey. The Class President of U of No Carolina who was murdered by blacks was planning to go to Africa to help blacks . This describes our relationship to blacks and other non-whites. They are the wolves and whites are the sheep This will be the death of the white race. At my job , this sheboon from a foreign country told me people in her native country hate the US. She said they have no reason but it's obvious. So this sheboon is here in the country she hates definitely taking a job from a more deserving white.

these yahoo douchebags are pathetic and predictable in their vitriol for White players. this "analysis" isn't even accurate. nor factual. but it compares two White players in a disparaging manner, so i guess that's all that matters.

Luke Jackson was an exceptional athlete, both on the court and at the combine. at 6-7, 212-pounds, he had a 36-inch vertical (which would rank him 15th overall of all the players measured if he were at the 2010 NBA pre-draft Combine this year)and posted an 11.10-second lane agility drill (which would've placed 7th overall in this draft). the only players who had a better vertical or agility time than Jackson in the 2010 Draft were "phenomenal athletes" who were either significantly shorter or were fellow White men (Bircevic, Satoransky, Babbitt) or both. furthermore, Jackson ran a 3/4 court sprint in 3.24 seconds, only 0.1 seconds slower than "the fastest player in the world" John Wall. somehow, that doesn't seem like a "lack of athleticism" to me.

finally, Jackson didn't have a problem creating his own shot in the NBA. he suffered a major back injury that many said would keep him from ever running again. it's a testament to his incredible work ethic that he was even able toplay professional basketball afterwards, and he managed to stick in the NBA for 3 seasons while he was fighting to regain his health. i suspect that he'd be a solid contributor in the NBA even now, if it weren't for his debilitating skin condition. as it is, he's having a solid career in Italy at the moment.

like Luke Jackson, Babbitt is a versatile scorer. but overall, Luke Babbit is a little bit bigger, a little bit longer, and a better leaper than Jackson, though he doesn't haveJackson's ball handling or passing ability. at least not at this stage of his career, anyway. hopefully Babbitt's NBA career will be better, as well.

finally,this edition of the NBA's rookie class is about as dark as Obama's vision of America. it is fitting, though, sincethe NBA is producing such a crappy product these days ...

I was surprised to see Hayward go so early. The Jazz love their white players though. Only 3 whites selected in the first round, four if you count Vasquez. Hinrich is going to be traded to the Wizards. That sucks for him because he won't be a starter for sure with afflete John Wall there.

I can only see a few positives from this draft.

1) Hayward or Babbitt eventually develop into star players. I feel both have the talent.
2) The Knicks picking local talent Rautins who could thrive in D'Antoni's system
3) Harangody, the Fighting Irish player, going to the Celtics

Most boring draft in recent memory, I barely paid any attention to it in the last few months and last night which is unusual for me. What happened to Scheyer was a crime, but sometimes a free agent can pick a team better suited for his talents than when you are a draft pick forced to try to make that particular team. I would love to see the Mavs pick him up.
