They are hoping for a saviour like Cowher, it only took the guy like 14 years to win a Superbowl.Mangini fired after 2 years with only a few weapons on offense. Browns fans thought Bellicheck wouldn't be able to coach himself out of a paper bag, or something to that effect.
If you look at the top backs, most of them declined towards the end of the season, MJD missed time, Darren McFadden missed time, as well as 2 games earlier in the season. Adrian Peterson missed time. Hillis is the only back in his division to average over 4 yards per carry. Ray Rice is listed at 4, but it is 3.97, so pretty close, but it just goes to show how tough it was to run against the teams they played this year, and Hillis was surrounded by the least amount of talent on offense. Cedric Benson had 7 fumbles and averaged 3.5 ypc, I wonder if he has to worry about getting carries next year. Ahmad Bradhsaw had 7 fumbles, and was injured the past 3 games of the season, avging 1.5 ypc against a pathetic defense his last game. I still stand by my stance thatat least 1of the fumbleswas not a fumblein the Bills game, and that only fumbles lost should be counted, espescially if you recover it yourself, they don't count "almost interceptions", but it doesn't matter, at the end of the day people are just going to look at the stat sheets and listen to what the haters say. I am going to stay optomistic about his role next year. He has to get at least 200 touches.Edited by: snow
