no one was guarding him. duh!

the dude went 20-28 from the floor and 6-10 from long range. the only players who could slow him down were his teammates ... when they didn't give him the ball.

of course, the same could be said for "Psycho B" Hansbrough (10-13) and Abromaitis (11-16) for the Irish. the offensive firepower in this game was impressive to say the least.

now to talk about Arkansas' Rotnei Clarke. he did a terrific job of creating off the dribble in the upset over Kentucky, something the "spot up shooter" is supposed to be incapable of doing. he drew a TON of fouls, and shot a total of 12 free throws. he hit 11 of them, at one point scoring 7 straight points in the game ... from the line. it squelched a Kentucky run and gave Arkansas the lead. he also should've had about 5 assists, but his "affletic" teammates couldn't finish at the rim after he set them up for several dunks and/or layups.

on the year, the dismal Razorbacks (17-10 overallthanks toa pathetically weak non-conference schedule, 6-7 SEC) are now 11-1 when Clarke scores 15 or more. his 26 points against the Wildcats were a game-high.

i feel bad for Kentucky's John Harrelson. the big man only gets to touch the ball out beyond the arc or when he gets a rebound. fortunately for him, he leads the SEC in offensive rebounds (second overall in total rebounds) and can finish when he grabs 'em. he went 5-7 from the floor en route tothe nice double-double.

UNC's Tyler Zeller had another quietly effective night. he just missed a double-double with 11 points (4-9 shooting) and 9 rebounds. he also had 2 steals and a blocked shot with ZERO turnovers.

LSU's athletic forward Garrett Green led the Tigers to a win on the road over MSU. he had 12 points and 8 rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench. it's a shame his career has been marred with injuries, because he is very physically gifted.

one last tidbit ... almost all-White Saint Mary's takes on <STRIKE>Gonzaga </STRIKE>Gone-zulu tonight on ESPN2. for the Bulldogs, despite having not yet started a game point guard David Stockton has emergedas a consistent playmaker both with the ball in his hands (he now leads the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio) and on defense. like his father before him, Stockton is said to be a defensive liability but "somehow" has a knack for making steals. he has the same number of steals as "phenomenal" defender (and starting point guard) Demetri Goodson ... in 250 fewer minutes played. "weird," huh?

I flipped on the UConn game tonight, and was pleasantly surprised. Niels Giffey, a German-born G/F for the Huskies was actually getting some good minutes tonight. So what does he do? He goes 4-6 from the field for a career high nine points. He looked good tonight, except for a horrible pass that resulted in a turnover. Giffey would do a lot better, if Kemba Walker ever learned to pass the ball to him, or the rest of his teammates for that matter.

You see, Walker does not know what a pass is. Even his black teammates barely got the ball tonight. C Alex Oriakhi is a pretty good player, but he got all of his points off of Walker's misses tonight(9 ORebs), and he got a nice pass from Giffey. This shelfishness is what will be UConn's undoing in the Tourney, as it was tonight.

Giffey easily got the most minutes he has all season tonight, hopefully, he'll keep playing for the Huskies.

On a side note, USC Forward Nikola Vucevic is putting in another good performance tonight. He currently has 15 points and 9 rebounds against Arizona.

Vucevic finished with 25 and 12 in USCs upset of Arizona.

I didn't watch the game, but from looking at the stats, it appears that the length of Vucevic and Alex Stephenson (undeniably a big dude, but he's lacking basketball IQ) "shut-down" Arizona's Derrick Williams (3-11 FG).

In addition to Fredette and Emery, Forward Noah Hartsock also has 11 points today. In addition to playing inside around the glass, he can also shoot the three, from where he's 3-3 today.

BYU has been killing SDSU from the 3-point line today. Freddete has also been able to get back in te lane in the 2nd half too. The team is 12-18 from 3 right now. Hartsock and Emery have added 15 and 13 points, respectivly. The Cougars are up by 13, 67-54. Jimmer has caught fire again in the 2nd half, and is up to 24 points.

Whites' are risin' up! I remember when I got to this board, some posters seemed to be insinuating that White American youth were so "beatdown" by the MSM propaganda, that they became "scared" to play basketball. I didn't buy it, but I didn't care to argue. I think I know why that was being said, however.. the usual ridiculous blackness of teams' like Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, UNLV, New Mexico, New Mexico State, San Diego State, Boston College, PITT, Tarkanian's Fresno State, sometimes Washington and Arizona, etc.

Maybe some people thought Whites' are scared because you can get "dunked-on?" Well, truth is, pretty much everybody can get dunked-on! I'm so happy that BYU EXPOSED SDSU TWICE!! A lot of the TOP teams' seem to have important White athletes that are key to their success. It's really too bad that Robbie Hummel got hurt..

Duke fell to a highly-inspired Virginia Tech last night. defensively, the Hokies did a good job of preventing the Dukies from ever getting comfortable by pressuring the ball, and relentlessly kept attacking the basket on offense. and despite giving up a lot of size (and several dunks) to the Duke frontline, Va Tech actually out-rebounded the Blue Devils.

Kyle Singler finished with a game-high 22 points and added 12 boards, but it was another cold night for him shooting the ball. he was a dismal 6-19 from the floor, and only 1-7 from 3-point range. Ryan Kelly was also largely ineffective offensively, hitting only one shot and gathering only 3 rebounds in 27 minutes. Mason Plumlee looked very aggressive and (for the first time i can remember) was repeatedly demanding the ball in the low block. unfortunately, his teammates didn't give it to him despite his favorable match-up. he only managed 5 shot attempts (including on putbacks) but hit 4 of them for 9 points. he added7 rebounds and 2 blocks. Miles Plumlee didn't score in 16 minutes, but did have 3 blocks, 2 steals, and 2 rebounds.

i watched the BYU-SDSU game in the early afternoon, and the referees allowed a VERY physical contest. Jimmer was beaten up when he tried to create off the dribble, and was not rewarded with his penetration by going to the free throw line ... because the officials were not calling fouls. fortunately for him (and BYU), the Cougars had several players get hot from beyond the arc. Noah Hartsock went 3-4, Jackson Emery went 2-6, Stephen Rogers went 1-1, Fredette went 4-8, and negro wing Joseph Abouo surprised everyone by hitting 4-5.

this type of team-balance and mental toughness bodes well for BYU come NCAA Tournament time.

6-5 sophomore combo guard James Rahon looked very impressive coming off the bench for SDSU. he had 10 points, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 1 rebound with only 1 turnover in 27 minutes. offensively, he looked like the total package ...

despite a poor shooting night for Notre Dame, they took care of business against Seton Hall. "Psycho B" Hansbrough had 21 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 blocked shot to lead the Irish. Abromaitis had 22 points and 8 rebounds but only shot 6-16.

the all-around brilliance of Chandler Parsons wasn't enough for Florida to handle Kentucky. in his sooner-than-expected return from a deep thigh bruise, Parsons once again showcased his unmatched versatility by posting 15 points (on 6-11 shooting), 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and just 1 turnover in a team-high 37 minutes. wow!

for Kentucky, rebounding machine Josh Harrellson snared a game-high 12 boards (including 6 on the offensive end!) and scored 6 points ... which came on putbacks of 3 of his offensive rebounds. that's virtually the only time he gets to touch the ball in the post.

Vanderbilt point guard Brad Tinsley had a nice game in the Commodores win. he finished with 16 points (on a sparkling 7-10 shooting), 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and 5 assists with just 1 turnover.

Rotnei Clarke scored a game-high 17 points (6-12 shooting) to lead Arkansas to a second-consecutive victory, overcoming the 17 Razorback turnovers and other mind-numblingly stupid mistakes of his negro teammates.

Olek Czyz exploded in Nevada's loss to Boise State. the high-flying former Duke player went 9-10 from the floor for a game-high 25 points. his 11 rebounds and 33 minutes were also game-highs ... and he did it all by coming off the bench.

Hawaii's Zane Johnson's 22 points led the Warriors over NMSU. the Arizona-transfer has emerged as the team leader and best scoring threat from the perimeter.

one last note, Missouri State won their first-ever Missouri Valley Conference regular season championship. the Bears play a 7 (sometimes 8)-man rotation, and5 of their top8 players are White.

Glad you mentioned Notre Dame from last night, Jimmy. I really like Psycho B, (as you can see in my profile pic.) It's really fun watching him create for Notre Dame. Same with Abromaitas, who was the reason the Irish were even in the game at all early on. He had nearly all of Notre Dame's points early on that kept Seaton Hall from completely running away with the game.

I'd love to see Va. Tech get matched up with BYU or NOtre Dame in the Tournament, but we all know that probably won't happen, because if this year's like years past, these white friendly teams usually meet up with each other within the first two rounds. BYU and Notre Dame may be exceptions, since they'll have such high seeds, they'll avoid each other until at least the elite eight.Edited by: Jack Lambert

Yeah Kyle Singler really hasn't done much to improve his draft stock this year. He'll probably go 2nd round if he goes at all. He's had some good games this year, but his shot seems off..

I think Louisville is a fun team to watch this year, with that press defense they use, and their up tempo play. They also give 4 white athletes time in almost every game. Right now, Marra has the hot hand for the Cardinals against Pitt with 11 points. Kuric has 5 points, and Stephan Van Treese has 4 points and 6 rebounds.

After watching Louisville play today I have no doubt Kuric has the talent to play in the NBA. He can shoot the three, has great hops, and played solid defense. I am hoping he will continue to polish his game because the NBA needs white shooting guards!
Off the top of my head I'll be pulling for most of the Big Ten teamsin the Tournament, along with Notre Dame, Louisville, BYU, &amp;St. Marys(if they make it)

Celtic, St. Mary's is definatly a lock for the Tourney, they have been for awhile, so it's safe to say we'll be able to root for them.

I also agree with you about Kuric. I've seen a lot of him this year, and the guy can just flat out play. Pitino trusts him a lot too. He gave him the oppurtunity for the game-winning shot today, but it was blocked by Wannamaker. I had to listen to part of the game on the radio, and the Louisville annoucers had nothing but praise for Kuric, saying "he can snag down rebounds even if he has to come from the other side of the gym."

Kuric can dunk it, drive the lane, and stroke the ball from deep, in addition to playing great defense. Today against Pittsburgh, he played nearly the whole game going 38 out of a 45 possible minutes. Kuric had 12 points today(including an exclamtion slam dunk at the end of the game), 7 rebounds, and 0 TOs.

Pittsburgh was very lucky today, as several of Kuric's Knowles, and Marra's shots rattled in and out today, despite getting very good looks. This game could've been around ten-fifteen points if the shots were falling for the Cardinals.

Stephan Van Treese seems like the established starter now, despite not playing much today(the Cards went with four guards in the lineup for most of the game.) I feel he has potential, but he's not all the way there yet.

Mike Marra also got a lot of minutes today. He had 11 points, but could've had more if his shots fell today.

Louisville has the potential to make a deep tourney run this year.

Don't forget, blacks are only 1% of the population, the other 3% are Native Americans, which makes it that much more appaling. I think their football team won't be far behind their basketball team with all of those new recruits they have coming in.
