Notre Dame looks good and should go far in the tournament.

there were a TON of upsets in college basketball today, highlighted from a CF perspective by BYU falling to New Mexico after their emotional win against San Diego Stateand Saint Mary's getting knocked off by a very-White Portland team.

Northwestern missed a three-pointer at the buzzer, or the Wildcats would have knocked off #1 Ohio State ... and they did it with their best player (Shurna) in street clothes after a concussion in their last game. it was a very fun game to watch.

in a contest of two very dark teams, Rotnei Clarke scored 36 points (in 33 minutes) in Arkansas' upset on the road against #22 Vanderbilt. the oft-injured Michael Sanchez (usually only a glue guy) added 20 points off the bench in the Razorback win.

This is exactly what racialists need to recognize about basketball. Most blacks are simply average, or worse, and there's many many "disappointing blacks with long arms." If there is/was an army of "top Bell Curve blacks" - I ask - why doesn't Florida just get them then?! Because there isn't an army! Even Texas, and other "big" programs, have had their share of underwhelming blacks' over the years. And, year in and year out, you have teams like VA Tech and Tennessee (and others) that are pretty damn small. How is that possible? There's no shortage of blacks in the VA/MD/DC area!

Florida State got blitzed today.. I personally don't think Chris Singleton is "that great." In my breakdown of black bigs, that's why I used the word "solid" for Florida State, referring to Singleton and Bernard James (grabs some key rebounds); Jon Kreft has been alright as well.

Right now, I'm not really sold on John Henson who is rather soft, and a 30-something Antonio McDyess moves around the basket quicker than Henson!! Just kind of an awkward kid who the "nut-huggers" - especially one CBS Sportsline "writer" - just LOVES...

In the breakdown post, the Syracuse big I was talking about, but failed to name, is Rick Jackson. Syracuse has been struggling, but Jackson is still a presence in the middle. He's a tough big, with some skill, that any team would want to have on their roster.

I didn't miss much, at least from the "big" programs, in that breakdown post. However, Draymond Green did go unmentioned.. he's a good college player, but I don't see him as a tough-as-nails "DeJuan Blair-type."

Of course, there are other bigs in college basketball.. and they are just too "generic" (and inconsistent) to even mention. Right now, I'm not going to "breakdown" Renardo Sidney (Miss. State), "super-athletic" C.J. Leslie (NC State), Alex Stephenson (USC), "super-athletic" Frazier on Georgia, etc.

I'm not saying that none of them could possibly "develop" - but I'm tired of the annointment - especially when guys like Leslie appear to be literally starving... ha

Ohio State freshman point guard Aaron Craft was likely the reason that #1 OSU didn't fall to a game Northwestern bunch on Saturday. coming off the bench, as he always does, Craft sparked the Buckeyes and provided a small scoring cushion that ultimately proved decisive. he scored 13 points on 5-6 shooting, had a couple of rebounds and assists, and played stellar defense. he also provided a highlight pass for a dunk on his first touch of the ball. while the talking heads emphasized Sullinger's point total even though he didn't play with his usual toughness, it was Craft who gave the edge to OSU as they escaped.

Aaron Craft is definitely a talented youngster to keep an eye on.

Dang, I saw Wisconsin lost yesterday as well to Penn State. The Badgers were out scored 36-23 in the second half. Jon Leuer had 18 points in the loss.

Not a whole lot of "talent" out there. Jimmer Fredette is the best by far. Kyle Singler is up there too.
Ben Hansbrough is good too. He is a good shooter and he is tough.
The "affletic" Jared Sullinger is solid but he isn't in the best of shape. He is not in the same league as Blake Griifin,
Kevin Love, or even Dejuan Blair. I don't see him dominating anything. If he is the top pick in the draft then it is a pretty bad draft.

The draft this year should be based on who will fit in the system and who fills a need. Mostly role players, at best, coming out of this draft.
If a team came away with Fredette and Jon Leur out of this draft then that team would win.

Indiana gets whiter every game. Just beat Minnesota at home, after great win last week over Illinois and tough OT loss at MSU. Junior point guard Jordan Hulls has really gotten good.

Not sure how many of you get the Big Ten Network, but there are worthwhile white players to see for IU, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Purdue, Illinois ... haven't seen Penn State, the white guys who play the most for MSU are walkons.Edited by: GreatLakeState

Notre Dame, and its core contingent of talented White athletes, has risen to #8 in the national polls.

unheralded Boston College face-up power forward Joe Trapani has been playing some very good basketball of late. in his most recent contest for the Golden Eagles, Trapani had 25 points, 15 boards, 3 assists, and 2 blocked shots. he was the only BC player who showed up to play against North Carolina.

for the Tarheels, Tyler Zeller had 18 points on only 7 field goal attempts. get him the ball more! jeez!

Chandler Parsons, possibly the most intriguing White pro prospect in the college game today (a 6-10 point forward), carried the Gators against Vandy. Parsons had 18 points (6-13 from the floor), 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and only 1 turnover. this kid is very, very athletic.

it is currently halftime of an always-good game between rivals Duke and Maryland. after Duke took a BIG early lead, it seemed like the game was slipping away from the (unfortunately-black) Terps ... but they came storming back. the Plumlee brothers and Kyle Singler have played well thus far.

please forgive the double post, but i forgot to mention the latest anti-White vitriol from the ever-loathsome Jay Bilas, himself a former White basketball player for Duke.

the latest "insightful commentary" from Bilas was the snide, condescending comments belittling Maryland's 6-6 freshman forward Haukur Palsson. the reason for the insults? Palsson was born in Reykjavik, Iceland. oh! what a worthy reason for putting down a young player! among his contemptuous jibes, Bilas slimed "He is definitely the best Icelandic player ever in the ACC." then laughed. for a couple of minutes. yeah. so funny, it was.

i'd like to kick Bilas where his balls should be.

Singler is red hot for the Blue Devils tonight. that quickly elicited more laughs from Bilas as Singler scored coming off a screen over the outstretched fingertips of Palsson ... "yeah," *laughs* "You don't have to go against players like that in Iceland." *more laughter*

as if giving up a bucket to the all-American, PoY candidate Singler is something to be ashamed of.

to Palsson's credit, however, he came right back down and hit a jumper in Singler's eye. i'm liking what i'm seeing out of the youngster. that dagger shut Bilas up real quick ... and then, Bilas at least backtracked slightly, "That'll teach me to laugh at Icelandic basketball." of course, his remorse didn't last long, as Singler scored again on the next trip down the court. "Iceland is hot, but Oregon is hotter."

i mean, that doesn't even make any sense. meh.

Ben Hansbrough is (IMO) looking like a lesser version Jimmer Fredette. Like Jimmer is to BYU, Ben is the engine that drives Notre Dame. I hope both are NBA bound, there is (IMO) a serious need for white American PG's to the NBA.

the only problem is Duke is only 5-13 from the free throw line. ouch.

now on ESPN2, a very-White Saint Mary's team has just tipped off against Loyola Marymount. the Gaels are fun to watch with their two-headed point guard system (McConnell and Dellavedova), and nearly everyone who sees the floor can knock down open shots from the perimeter. they are hard to match up with, and when they are knocking down their jumpers, they are very, very hard to beat.

edited to add: meanwhile in the West Coast Conference, Gonzaga (or Gone-Zulu as a CF poster cleverly named them) continues to play bad basketball. they lost today to Memphis in Spokane. announcer Jimmy Dykes correctly, and repeatedly, pointed out that the 'Zags needed to leave freshman David Stockton (3 assists, 1 rebound, 1 steal, but 3 turnovers) in the game, because he is their best passer and playmaker from the point guard spot. black starter Demetri Goodson can't pass, nor can he shoot, so opposing defenders don't even attempt to guard him except when he tries to penetrate. despite this, Stocktonrarely getsenough minutes ...

sophomore forward Kelly Olynyk (10 points in 15 minutes) also played well, and, along with Stockton, helped spark a Gone-Zulu comeback from 13 down. alas, there aren't enough players like Stockton and Olynyk. there are, however,plenty of mulattoes and Senegalese-turned-Canadians to create all the losses in the record book.

for the first time in a decade, Gone-Zulu doesn't look like they will make the NCAA Tourney, unless of course they win the WCC tournament. oh, for the days of yore ...

I also noticed that many of Gonzaga's black and mulatto players aren't even close to Spokane. As Jimmy mentioned, Mangisto Arop is "Canadien" another Elias Harris, is "German." Yet another mullato, Mathis Keita is "French." Don't stop there, Sam Dower is from Minnesota. Robert Sacre is another "Canadien."

For 2012's recruiting class, one of their first offers is to a black player from... Connecticutt. So, Gonzaga has to scour the Earth just to find black players to recruit... why can't they just recruit the white players like they used to?

even though he plays way out on the Left Coast, don't sleep on Saint Mary's point guard Mickey McConnell. last night against Loyola Marymount, McConnell came close to a triple double (16 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds) while only committing 2 turnovers. while McConnell was focused more on passing in this win, St. Mary's 20th of the season, backcourt mate Matthew Dellavedova was scoring. he hit for 23 points on 9-18 shooting.

Chandler Parsons continued his stellar play for Florida, as he led the Gators to an upset over #11 Kentucky. the 6-10 point forward scored a team-high 17 points, pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds, and dished out a game-high 5 assists. he also had 1 blocked shot, and he did all that while committing ZERO turnovers.

i wonder what is keeping this sky-walking, big-shot-hittinglong-and-tall playmaker so low on the NBA draft boards ...

Not sure if this guy has been mentioned but Junior Harper Kamp of the Cal Golden Bears had 33 points and 10 rebounds against Arizona. The 6'-8" forward is averaging 15 points a game on the season.

two quick notes ...

#1) when i say Chandler Parsons has been playing great, you know i mean it. even the negrophiles at ESPN have taken notice of the long and athletic point forward. below is a quote regarding Parsons' performance against Kentucky.

To paraphrase Oscar Hammerstein II, let's start with Chandler Parsons; he's a very good place to start. Parsons has always been talented, and he's always been versatile. But Saturday, he had the best, and most important, game of his career. Parsons scored 17 points on 6-of-10 from the field, including a 2-of-4 mark from beyond the arc. He also added 12 rebounds, five assists and a block. But the numbers don't really do Parsons' performance justice. The senior forward was the most consistent -- probably the only consistent -- source of points down the stretch for Florida. His crash-the-glass tendencies gave Florida two huge buckets on missed shots late in the second half. (Any time one of his teammates shot the ball, Parsons flew to the rim; it was a remarkable thing to watch.) His dribble penetration gave Florida its best looks all game long and yielded one of the best passes (an impossibly perfect, blind behind-the-back dropoff) you'll ever see. And his clutch free throw down the stretch -- free throws being easily the worst part of Parsons' game -- helped hold off Kentucky's late run. What do you want from a star? Consistent productivity, a healthy dose of flair, some defense-challenging versatility and clutch plays when they matter most. Parsons delivered on all counts Saturday night. Florida will celebrate as a team, but in many ways, this win was his.

#2) two White point guards made the cut to the final 10 for the Cousy Award, given annually to the "best" point guard in the country (although it rarely does, in my opinion). the two White athletes who are still in the running are BYU's Jimmer Fredette and Saint Mary's' Mickey McConnell.

here's a link to a nice profile (albeit with some castespeak thrown in) about Wofford's 6-6 senior "power" forward, Noah Dahlman who has never dunked in a collegiate game ... yet the reigning SoCon Player of the Year (and Michigan high school basketball's all-time leading rebounder) is one of thetop scorers in the country at20.8 points-per-game and shooting a phenomenal 63.3%. Dahlman might be the best below-the-rim post player in the nation ... at just 6-feet-6. of course, he does it without actually being talented.

but it just goes to show you, there's more than one way to dominate on the hardwood.
