Zach Miller was drafted by the Jaguars. He played quarterback at Nebraska-Omaha. He's 6'4", 233 pounds and ran an electronic 4.53 40 yard dash at his pro day. I found another site that had him at a 4.47 40 yard dash. He is transitioning into the NFL as a tight end. Should be interesting. He also rushed for over 1,100 yards his senior year I believe.Edited by: kre08

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome.
I look forward to contributing to the discussion. Just sick of the typical code worded terms they slap on tremendously talented and productive White college players.

Too bad to hear that Jacob Hester looks to be type cast as a FB.
I think he is one of the best running backs to come out of college in the last 15 years. No joke!
He dominated the very dark SEC for 2 years.
Hester could be much better then John Riggins imho.
Quick comment on the trend of Center position becoming White again: with the few exceptions such as D. Dawson, black centers don't possess the 'play making decisions' (intelligence) to anchor a most important position in today's NFL.
The modern day center likely may sacrifice 10-15 pounds for more intelligence in reading defense and communication skills to the OL.

C will be mostly White in the next few years. They may take 'undersized' white guards and put them at C after some of the afflete black C sumos bust and blow reads.

Yep, center is too heady a position to engineer to be artificially black as easily as other ones. There will be continued attempts, just as the stream of hyped black QBs will never slow down, but center and QB are like surgeons and airplane pilots -- affirmative action can only be taken so far.

Drafting a black fullback is not taking a step back. It is the least glorified position in the NFL and Johnson will not start for the Pack. I was surprised they picked Jamon Meridith seeing how the packers usually draft white on the o-line. But Meridith looks to be one of the few black o-line players i could handle. He's 6'4 295 and looked to be able to move pretty well for a zone system. Herman johnson, Duke Robinson and those likes make me sick. What a disgrace they are to be called football players.

The cornerback Washington from Ohio State ran a 4.55. This is good speed for a cover corner? Kiper said he is "very athletic." What a pig.

As for Casey the best possible situation would be for him to learn from another athletic H-Back\TE Owen Daniels on how to survive in the league and maybe earn some playing time and he could make an impact as a free agent in a couple of years. I was hoping NEw Orleans would draft Casey!!

As someone mentioned before the Eagles now have 3 almost identical receivers with Maclin joining Curtis and Jackson. Its puzzling to me why they havent tried getting a bigger bodied guy unless they feel Hank Baskett is the answer?

The Bears have a coal black draft so far. Big surprise there! When will the DWF's wake up? I read through this thread, and even amongst CF posters, there still seems to be "team followership." Strange to see how many are jumping from one team to another year after year, hoping against hope that maybe they will treat their white players fairly. I try to stay a fan of players and not teams, because teams will only disappoint you in the Caste era. They may not disappoint you in one way, but they will in another. You can count on that.

Julian Edelman just got drafted by the Pats. That's about the best news I've seen all draft. Of course he's one of the about 1 percent of guys who nfl.com has no height, weight, or info for when he first gets drafted. They'll have it updated soon. Why would they for a guy who rushed for 1,370 yards from the quarterback position at a d-1 school, had a 4.4 forty yard dash, and a faster short shuttle time than any of their affletes at the combine. Especially when the "wildcat" offense is becoming such a hot topic in the NFL you would think they wouldn't have to dig too far to find out this guy might be worth looking up a height and weight for in case he gets drafted.Edited by: kre08

I am so happy Edelman was drafted, and to the Pats! Hartline's situation could be better, but is certainly fantastic. Austin Collie caught the biggest break, and will probably even start. Hopefully Eric Peterman and Nate Swift either get drafted soon or make the NFL another way.

i really want to see peterman, swift, kmic, zwinggi, kole keckendorf, and at least one white saftey or corner type player drafted. If those things can happen in the remaining 2 or 3 rounds or in free agency than i will be a happy guy. I doubt it will though

I got to say NDSU is fast becoming my favorite college in college sports, Vermont is up there to, their recruiting class for basketball is stacked with athletic white talent. If only vermont had a good football team.
