Very true, Crouch was another guy who's natural position was wildcat QB/ tailback- Crouch is actually quite similar to Edelman ability wise. I think both those guys could actually be "solid" QBs in the NFL, but would be best as wildcat backup QBs/ tailbacks. Crouch was one guy who admitted he would have continued playing if they gave him a shot at RB instead of slot WR, where Edelman doesn't seem to take issue trying out at WR.

The NFL screwed over Brian Shay really bad. The kid came into college running a 4.8 40. By the time his career was done he had the rushing record, cut his 40 time down to 4.53 and bulked up to 215 lbs.
