Nice write-up Jimmy, I know who to watch and root for in the few times I'll be tuning in. Another fine service to the membership by JC and castefootball!

Binghamton might have had a white starting center, except last spring Miladin Kovacevic put another student into a coma, then fled to Serbia.

I hope the student was black, then the score would be:

black student athletes that have beaten up white students: 12,345

White athletes that have beaten up black students: 1

Nice! Looks like this Kovacevic fellow would've blended perfectly with either UConn or Memphis. I wonder how Calhoun and Calipari missed him.

Serbia and Croatia should find places for there own people to play in Serbia. There are plenty of white Americans who can fill those scholarships. I am getting tired of these guys popping up all over the place. The choice shouldn't be between black Americans and foreign whites.Coaches should scout white Americans.
this is a bit off topic, but does anybody know why Serbians consider Croatians as scum?

cant wait for LSU vs UNC, and root for Tyler Hansbourough, people hate him and they are going to hate him more when he beats ellesshoe , I know UNC doesnt have many Whites, but i really want to see Tyler end his college career on a high note. and i dont think LSU has any White players, if they do i havent seen them.Edited by: dwid

well, both Northern Iowa and BYU are already going home, albeit they played in very different fashion.

Northern Iowa gave heavily favored Purdue all they could handle! they were within 2 points in the final minute, and despite the loss i couldn't be prouder of how they played.

conversely, BYU looked like they didn't even want to be out there against all-black Texas A&M. the Aggies started off on a tear, hitting their first 10 shots, and BYU acted like they'd had enough. i was very disappointed by their effort.

i should add, i'm not expecting "my" teams to win every game. i can be proud of a team that loses. however, i DO EXPECT a team i cheer for to play their guts out every game. BYU was sorely lacking in their effort today.

in a blow-out loss, the two big men for Radford gave tremendous effort against the mighty UNC Tarheels. Parakhouski and Lynch-Flohr both struggled with their shot, but they both ate glass like a stuntman and played their butts off. sadly, their black teammates acted like they wanted some Tarheel autographs instead of wanting to play.

Parakhouski and Hansbrough battled like Titans inside. that was a fun match-up to watch.

also, Memphis got a big scare. i think they are very vulnerable because of their personnel and chemistry issues.

thanks for the kind words, gentlemen. i apologize for not getting the rest of the write-ups finished before the tourney began. i will get them written up this evening, unless something major happens.

Thanks again for your write-ups JC. And I too was disappointed in BYU. How do you allow a team to hit their first 10 shots from the field without getting angry and more physical? Even Texas A&M's coach said he was expecting a tougher game.

As a side note: at least Lee Cummard appeared to play decent.

East Region

#1 Pittsburgh - all-black Pitt is very talented and a legitimate threat to cut down the nets.
#16 East Tenn St - an all-black starting lineup except for best player Mike Smith, a 6-6 guard, shouldn't have the talent to challenge Pitt. 6-6 white freshman guard Adam Sollazzo gets a lot of minutes off the bench, but despite showing flashes of potential he is mainly a complimentary player.

#8 Oklahoma St - an all-black team...
#9 Tennessee - versus an all-black team. Should be an erratic, ugly, up-tempo game.

#5 Florida St - usually has an all-black starting lineup, but three whites get minutes off the bench as complementary players. Jordan DeMercy might be the best athlete on the team, but like the two white shooters, he isn't a key player for some reason. FSU plays a real physical game, and much of their success is keyed by their defense.
#12 Wisconsin - usually starts 3 white men and regularly has 4 whites on the court, but Wisconsin has had a disappointing season. Big things were expected, but the Badgers never seemed to put it all together. Small forward Joe Krabbenhoft is an exceptional defender, and is a solid all-around player. Combo guard Jason Bohannon is a sweet shooter and makes good decisions with the ball. 6-10 small forward Jon Leuer is a very gifted prospect, but he has yet to really turn vast potential into dominant performance. Sophomore Keaton Nankivil is a strong, athletic big man who does the dirty work, and sophomore 6-6 guard/forward Tim Jarmusz is a dead-eye shooter from long range and a long-armed defender.

#4 Xavier - an all-black starting line-up had an up and down season. Two talented white freshmen get minutes off the bench in point guard Brad Redford and 7-footer Kenny Frease.
#13 Portland St - 3 white men are in the starting lineup for the Vikings, including one of the most exciting basketball players in the country, 5-6 conference Player of the Year Jeremiah Dominguez who is the team's leading scorer. Extremely athletic, and sharp-shooting, 6-7 small forward Phil Nelson is a difficult match-up for opposing defenses. Kyle Coston gets a lot of minutes, but he doesn't do much. Portland State is a very well-balanced team, with everyone chipping in on the scoreboard and on the glass.

#6 UCLA - the Bruins have been to 3 straight Final Fours, however this team is flying very much under the radar after not looking impressive during Pac-10 play. Forward Nikola Dragovic is the only white starter, and he is a solid player. 3-point sniper Michael Roll gets a lot of minutes off the bench. Former McDonald's All-American James Keefe still averages more than 14 minutes a game, but his career has been a HUGE disappointment.
#11 VCU - the only white man on the roster is powerful forward Kirill Pishchalnikov, but he's little more than the designated screener on offense and assigned to guard the other team's best big man on defense. VCU is very small and shouldn't be around long.

#3 Villanova - an all-black team, I couldn't care less how good they are.
#14 American - these guys should just be happy to be in the Big Dance.

#7 Texas - the definition of inconsistency. Texas has the talent to be a Final Four team, but have played so erratically this year it's hard to get a bead on them. The only white starter is the long, athletic shot blocking Connor Atchley, who leads the team in blocked shots and is their best post defender. However, despite his versatile skill set on the offensive end, he rarely gets to touch the ball unless he gets a rebound. Forward Clint Chapman is the most athletic player on the roster, but he barely gets to see the court.
#10 Minnesota - I've not seen these guys play this year.

#2 Duke - a roster loaded with unbelievably athletic white talent, for some reason only gives two white men a lot of minutes. Forward Kyle Singler is the best player on the roster, and can play any of 3 positions on offense and guard 4 positions on defense. Jon Scheyer has been made into the full-time point guard and has responded with beautiful results. His size, skill, and mean streak create huge problems for opposing backcourts. &-foot center Brian Zoubek would give the Blue Devils much needed size, but he has not been developed this season, and the same can be said for several other white Dukies. Duke has more white talent riding the bench than exists in the entire SEC. Yet, apparently, none of them are good enough to play for the coach who recruited them... I like the Dukies, but I wish they'd get back to playing their white men.
#15 Binghamton - all black, and very small. They play a pressing, trapping defense that should keep them in the game for a half, but after that Duke's superior size and talent should slowly pull away.

South Region

#1 North Carolina - a mostly black roster, but their best player is a white man. Tyler Hansbrough is the most hated college basketball in the country, but if he were black, he'd be the most beloved. UNC has the talent to cut the nets down, but their biggest question is the health of starting black point guard Ty Lawson.
#16 Radford - over-matched Radford only has two players good enough to play on the same court as the Tarheels. They're both white, but Parakhouski and Lynch-Flohr won't be around long enough for America to appreciate how good they really are.

#8 LSU - all-black. What did you expect from an SEC team?
#9 Butler - their two best players are young white men. Sophomore power forward Matt Butler was the conference Player of the Year (and was an Academic All-American), and 6-6 freshman shooting guard Gordon Hayward was the conference Newcomer of the Year as well as conference First-Teamer. But do they have anyone else who can help them? Only one other white man gets many minutes, back-up point guard Zack Hahn.

#5 Illinois - I've not seen them play this year.
#12 Western Kentucky - scrappy, balanced, and fearless. The Hilltoppers are the type of unknown team that could make a run to the Sweet Sixteen. Unfortunately, they only have one white player who regularly sees the court.

#4 Gonzaga - one of my favorite teams, Gonzaga starts 3 white men, and all of them are excellent players. High-flying 6-10 power forward Josh Heytvelt leads the team in scoring. 6-8 two guard Micah Downs plays above the rim on both ends of the court, can guard 4 positions, shoot from deep, and is the team's best free throw shooter. 6-5 combo guard Matt Bouldin is the Zags most complete player, and the team has exploded since he's taken over the point guard duties. Gonzaga has the talent to make it to the Final Four, but do they have the toughness? That is their question.
#13 Akron - tough, fearless, and tremendous on defense, Akron routinely plays 4 white men at once and has 5 white men who see court action. The best of the bunch is 6-8 small forward Nate Linhart, who leads the team in steals and rebounds, and is second in scoring and blocked shots. Linhart was also the conference Defensive Player of the Year. Freshman power forward Nikola Cvetinovic often starts, and he is an excellent defender. Center Mike Bardo is a regular starter, as well, and leads the team in blocked shots and provides them with much needed size. Back-up point guard Steve McNees plays starter's minutes and is the team's best passer. Freshman two guard Brett McClanahan is a solid player.

#6 Arizona - other than Chase Budinger, I couldn't care less about the Wildcats.
#11 Temple - and I still hate Temple after the vile racist John Chaney coached their for so long. Only one white player sees the court for them, even after he left.

#3 Syracuse - the Orangemen appear to be peaking at the right time, but after their 7 overtimes in their last two games, do they have any juice left? *PUN* Two of their best four players are white men, and one of 'em even gets to start. Combo guard Eric Devendorf is as tough as they come, and has the knack for knocking down big shots. Wing Andy Rautins is deadly from long range, and like Devendorf is an excellent passer. Back-up forward Kristof Ongenaet doesn't get nearly enough minutes, but he might be the best leaper on the team.
#14 Stephen F. Austin - I've not seen these guys play.

#7 Clemson - tenacious on defense, and in love with the 3-point shot on offense, Clemson lives and dies with the 3-pointer and pressure defense. If they get cold from outside, they are in trouble. White two guard Terrence Oglesby is their best shooter. Athletic freshman guard/forward Tanner Smith comes off the bench and is a terrific defender and slasher.
#10 Michigan - a rarely seen 1-3-1 defense, and talent in the backcourt makes Michigan a match-up nightmare in the Big Dance. They're hard to prepare for, and with John Beilein's

#2 Oklahoma - featuring the most hyped player in the nation, Oklahoma has a lot of talent but seem to be unraveling late in the season. They might be the most vulnerable two seed in the Tourney. Only one white player ever sees the court, and he sees the ball even less.
#15 Morgan St - apparently nary a white man in the USA is good enough to play for this scrub team, because there are ZERO on the roster. These racists suck. And they suck at basketball, too.

Ugh, the Illini lost to WKY. I was watching the game tongight, and I think Illinois plays 2-3 white men regularly in a game.
I hope Wisconsin can beat the Seminoles tommorow. All black LSU beat Butler today.
smiley7.gif
Akron seemed to give the Zags a bit of a run today before the Zags finally pulled away. UCLA survived a scare from nearly all black VCU tonight. It was nice to see racist Morgan St. and Binghamton get pummeled today. American had Villanova today until about 4:00 minutes left in the game. If Memphis plays like they did today against Maryland on Saturday, they will get booted from the tournament.

Thanks for the write-ups on the teams Jimmy.

i am very proud of the play of our white players in the Tourney so far. as a group, they are playing tremendous basketball.

however, i hope it doesn't sound like sour grapes to point out that every majority white team is penalized with countless "playing defense while white" fouls.
smiley7.gif
i'm serious! every. single. majority white. team. and. small school. white. star.

if you've been watching any of the Tournament, it's obvious that every white star from a smaller conference picks up 2 quick fouls in the first 4 minutes of the game. Utah St? bang! Utah? bang! North Dakota St? bang! Radford? bang! BYU? bang! Portland St? bang! Northern Iowa? bang! Butler? bang!

within the first 4 minutes of the game, the best white player had 2 fouls and was headed to the bench. they only played significant minutes in games by having to play lax defense while their coach gambled and left them out on the floor. only after the game was decided or the blacker team established a big lead did the foul numbers even out a little bit. we can't have any stats show an obvious bias, now can we?
smiley7.gif
it should prove how truly gifted these white athletes/teams are to play so well despite such huge penalizations, because in nearly every game the white men kept things interesting despite refs trying to put the game away.

this has happened in every single game with either a small-school white star on an otherwise black team (like East Carolina's Mike Smith, the only white player to see the court in his game) or a majority white team from a non-BCS conference school (see all those i listed above), so it can't be coincidental. i know we see this year after year, but this is simply ridiculous!
smiley11.gif
smiley7.gif
Gonzaga and Akron would be included on this list, i'm sure, but if the refs had called fouls on the white players in that game, there wouldn't have been anyone left to play.
smiley36.gif
laughing is better than crying, i suppose...
smiley18.gif

the only exceptions for this rule appear to be the two blue teams from the ACC (Duke and UNC) and schools from the Big 10 (Purdue and Wisconsin).

apparently NCAA stands for No Caucasians At All, because whites simply aren't wanted.

if that's the case, the refs should just tell white players to go home and watch the games on tv, because if they dress out they'll still be watching the game... from the bench.

JC you are 100% correct. White players are officiated differently when playing D (especially on blacks) and if you are racially aware it is easy to pick up on.

Kind of a side note, b/c both were white: Kansas's Cole Aldrich got a big break against NDSU when Kansas was on a scoring run. He lowered his shoulder on the NDSU defender who had position and a defensive foul was called sending Cole to the line. I guess the "big name" white players get favored too over the white unknowns.

Dang right man. BYU Texas A$M was brutal. The Aggies shot great, even when contested. However, when BYU went inside they were promptly attacked without getting to the line. While the Aggies got to shoot free shots for many non fouls.

Congrats to Wisconsin in playing smothering defense and pulling the upset over the Seminoles!

Wisconsin may be one of the nations best defensive teams ,i am just worried that they do not neccessarily have a go to scorer.

Too bad Ohio State lost to Siena.

But that Rossiter guy is quite good, very good in sneaking in baskets, and a very good free throw shooter. Mullens could learn a thing or two from Rossiter.

Mullens needs to improve his free throw shooting.

watching the Gonzaga-Western Kentucky game at the moment... apparently any player who isn't black is fair game to be ridiculed for their appearance. WKU's mexican-American point guard Orlando Mendez-Valdez was just said to look "like he should be playing in an over-40 lunchtime work league."
smiley5.gif
seriously. WTF?!?

i guess i should be happy, though. because Josh Heytvelt was just emphatically praised. "he is tremendously athletic, and he can really move his feet. a guard can't assume that he can go around Heytvelt, and you certainly can't shoot over him."

Washington's tournament run is over, but powerful big man Jon Brockman has nothing to be ashamed of. for the second game in a row, he OWNED the paint. in their first round game, he dominated SEC shot-blocker Jarvis Vanardo and finished with 14 rebounds and 10 points on just 8 shots.

today against Purdue, Brockman was a one-man wrecking crew in the paint! he had 20 points and 18 rebounds in the loss.
smiley32.gif

with performance like that, it makes you wonder why Brockman is the only white man who sees the court for Washington...Edited by: Jimmy Chitwood

Duke, UNC, Purdue, and Gonzaga all advance to next round.

Jon Brockman was brilliant in his very last college game:

20 points
18 rebounds

Best of luck to him in the NBA.

Good stuff today, there were some close calls, but the above 4 white-friendly teams all advanced.

Did I mention how much I hate UConn and Memphis, and their respective coaches? I believe they are on a collision course to meet in the Elite 8, which will be like the Iran-Iraq war. I'll be rooting for both of them to lose.

Yeah, I also hate Jim Caste-houn, and John Casta-peri. They are self-loathing, no good haters of their own race. Why can't both of them lose in the next round. Yeah good thing these four advanced.

I hope Duke can make it past all-black Villanova and topple all-black Pittsburgh after that, assuming Pittsburgh can make it past Wisconsin. Memphis vs. UConn is a caste-lovers dream, the all-black rosters of these caste whore coaches playing each other could make for a very ugly game.

How bout the Orangemen? Rautins and Devendorf are hot! Devendorf has 11 points and is 4/7 shooting. Rautins has 8 points and is 3/4 shooting! FLynn is a true point guard , he has handles, and he passes the ball to the hot hand!

Hoping for the same thing, Jack Lambert. Duke and the Zags had close calls yesterday. It just goes to prove that there are no great teams in the college game, there are just some pretty good teams that are capable of knocking each other out on any given game. There isn't a great team in this field of 64. I guess whoever survives this grind of six do or die playoff games to win the championship will qualify as a great team.

I did notice that. Flynn keeps putting the ball into the hands of his hot shooters, completely unselfishly. Devendorf is on fire!

for the second game in a row, Kansas' Cole Aldrich completely owned the paint!
smiley32.gif

stat line for the Jayhawk win today: 13 points (on 6-12 shooting), 20 rebounds, 10 blocked shots. yes, he had a Triple Double.
smiley3.gif
smiley32.gif

in game 1 against North Dakota State, Aldrich scored 23 points (on 9-12 shooting, including 8 dunks), had 13 rebounds, and 2 blocks.

if Kansas can keep winning, the big white man is making a case to be NCAA Tourney MVP.

On ESPN they said Aldrich was one of only six players to have a triple double in the NCAA Tournament. And the second to do it with blocks the other being Shaq.

I didn't see the game, but I did see his stat line. He will be a very good one in the pros.

He will be better than Oden of course.
