Amendola went over a thousand yeard with this game, and Nelson's 200+ yards game put him closer to Crabtree for the national lead, congrats to both of them! hopefully we'll see both of them playing on sunday!

It's been a good season so far, but I'm upset about the Luke Swan injury and wish that Jordan Shipley, Dicky Lyons Jr. and Todd Blythe were having stronger seasons; all these guys could be drafted, but I don't know about it now.

Gronkowski could end up being the next Shockey. He is so good, fast and powerful as a true freshman. This kid scares the crap out of defensive secondarys. His whole family is athletic so it is in his genes. Polish Power!

Shipley and Lyons are only juniors. UK and UT each have two senior starting WR's that will be moving on after this year. Lyons in particular should see a much larger role next year. Blythe allegedly got a 3rd round grade last year from the NFL draft advisory board. I think even with his mediocre stats, he'll be drafted second day. Luke Swan was very good this year but my gut feeling is he would have been a UDFA who never saw the field in the NFL. A white WR has to have something special to get noticed, like mega stats (Hass), size (Blythe), or speed (Jones). Thankfully, Jordy Nelson has all of those. Edited by: jared

Tennessee's Austin Rogers looked impressive on the Volunteers opening drive... beating Arkansas' fastest player for a first down, then beating him again on a bubble screen where he broke a tackle and scampered 16 yards for a touchdown.

Yep, Austin is leading UT in receiving today at the moment. Jordy Nelson is over 100 already as well, but the black QB is playing some dumb ball. Edited by: Colonel_Reb

ASU RS Soph WR Chris McGaha had his best day ever as a Sun Devil, snagging 9 REC for 123 yards. Unfortunately, he still hasn't found the endzone this year.

Stats updated. I would like mention the North Dakota Fighting Sioux as a team to watch during the upcoming D-II playoffs. They are loaded with white talent, especially WR Weston Dressler and RB Ryan Chappell. They are 3rd in last week's D-II northwest region poll. I hope they, along with Chadron State, Grand Valley State, and Nebraska-Omaha make it deep into the playoffs.

He looked impressive in the Oregon - Arizona game. I didn't realize he was a freshman.

and you gotta love the potential that this guy has: 6'6, 250, a very good speed... and two or three more years to develop!

back, I've posted Gronkowski's stats for quite a while. I don't miss many of our guys, even if I don't get around to posting stats on them every week. Gron is a great player and I agree with jared, he did a lot in that Oregon game. This kid will end up being a star and a high draft pick if things continue as they are.

yup, i was sure you wouldn't miss an obvious one, but with a search function being broken it's hard to read through all this info.Edited by: backrow

lost in the mix with Hillis and Hester having huge games, LSU tight end Richard Dickson quietly had a big game, as well. 5 catches for 72 yards against the Hogs.

also, for the Razorbacks Lucas Miller had a catch for 16 yards. his 16 yards receiving was second on the team.
