Staton Jobe, Virginia Fr WR had a nice catch and announcers praised his speed and athletic talent. maybe they didn't get the memo. on the other hand, they called a black running QB magical, so maybe they did

lost in the mix with Hillis and Hester having huge games, LSU tight end Richard Dickson quietly had a big game, as well. 5 catches for 72 yards against the Hogs...

Gary Danielson has recognized Dickson the last 2 or 3 times Danielson & Lundquist broadcast LSU games. So, yeah, Danielson contributes to the over-hype of Glenn Dorsey, but he does say positive things about guys like Dickson, Steltz, Hester and Hillis.Edited by: Deus Vult

Jacob Tamme is having a huge day, and Vols Brad Cottam is not far behind, had a huge 50+ catch and run displaying lots of speed.

SJSU Kevin Jurovich just had a 31 yard TD reception.Edited by: backrow

on Friday night, New Mexico State's redshirt freshman wide receiver, Weston Neiman, had a big game in a losing effort: 11 catches for 128 yards.

the frosh began the season slowly, but increased his production as the year wore on. he has had double figures in catches and surpassed 100 yards receiving in each of his last 2 games.

he is a guy we should keep an eye on for next season.

it's alright, Colonel. it's just God busting your balls for giving me such a hard time on the running backs thread.

Didn't mean to come across so rough. The way I feel, I should just go to bed, but this OU-Mizzou game is too big.

Black commentator Andre Ware repeatedly raved about Bryan Anderson throughout Central Michigan's bowl game against Purdue. Ware even went so far as to say, "(Anderson) has been just owning Terrel Vincent most of this game."

Vincent was hailed, both before and during the game, as being Purdue's top cover man and entered the game leading the Boilermakers in interceptions. He couldn't even contain Anderson, though.

Anderson finished the game with 7 catches for 129 yards and 3 touchdowns, and as the announcers repeatedly mentioned, he was wide open on numerous other occasions and LeFevour missed him. What a great game by Anderson despite playing on the losing team!

Also, Purdue wide receiver Jake Standeford had 8 catches for 112 yards and 1 touchdown.

ware is one of the few black commentators i don't mind listening to. he actually sounds educated and doesn't not seem to demean white ball players. i remember him speaking highly of david ball when he played.

yeah, they are brothers. Jake is a senior, and has a slim chance at even getting a shot at NFL, but who knows.
