2007 Patriots

I tend to agree that if an overwhelmingly black team like the Jaguars was doing what the Patriots are doing, most of the sports media would be calling them amazing, or awesome, or something to that effect. Jason Whitlock wrote an article pointing out this exact point.

Bill Cowher is not overrated though. Not overrated at all.

How do you explain Cowher's love affair with Kordell Stewart all those years, sans admitting that he is either overrated or an idiot?

Seriously, the Steelers had VERY talented teams during Cowher's tunure. His teams were not overrated, they were underrated.

However, how far could they have gone with a real QB (not Krapdell Steward), and a real running back (not fat-boy Bettis). Both of these turds were Cowher's creations, while he cut dozens of white WR's, DB's and RB's. I could site many examples, as I live in PA and am inundated with Steelers news.

You know the league is f*cked when you have fat, slow, and lazy Jerome Bettis (who couldn't even play fullback in a fair league) playing the feature tailback role for 10 seasons while guys like Alstott are barely getting 10 carries a season (again, all Bill Cowher).

Personally, I feel like Cowher defines a caste coach (always black at skill positions, some white OL and TEs).

For God's sake, THE ****G*T EVEN KISSED MANY OF HIS BLACK PLAYERS!

I heard an interesting stat recently, that Neil O'Donnell has the lowest career interception percentage rating of all time. Yeah, you know.. that guy who threw two INT's in the Super Bowl, he of whom it is said that those INT's essentially cost the Steelers another Super Bowl ring?

I believed then and still do that the receiver ran the wrong route. This record lends a lot of credence to that theory.

It would be interesting to see how the Stiller fans perceive Kordell Stewart in comparison to Neil O'Donnell. PA natives, what say you?

He had a very good percentage, but it wasn't lowest all-time. From what I've heard and read over the years, Neil was not highly regarded by Burgh fans.

Neil: 120 TD's 68 INT's.

Kord:77 TD's84 INT's

Bart, that stat encompasses O'Donnell's entire career, not just the years he was in Pittsburgh:

Sorry, I thought you meant Touchdowns to Interceptions. Your stat deals with fewest number of interceeptions at minimum of 1500 pass attempts. Two different things. Either way, Neil was better than most fans thought.

I don't remember the stories about players wanting to take out McNabb a few years ago when the Eagles were dominating or taking out Culpepper when the Vikings were doing well. I wonder why?

How do you explain Cowher getting to 6 AFC championships and 2 Superbowls in 15 years? Is that the mark of an idiot? A coach that gets to Superbowls with teams he built from scratch?

I keep forgetting that castefootball is actually about hating black people, and hating anybody that doesn't also hate black people. Cowher had some black players. Wow. No coach ever had a black guy on his team before.

He learned his lesson about black quarterbacks, he drafted a good white quarterback, he won a Superbowl.

You're the idiot, not Bill Cowher.

I don't know about the players, but I think Bill Cowher wanted to take McNabb out. Well, judging by the Kordell kissypooh incident. I'm bad, real bad.

Hey! castefootball is NOT just about hating black people, we hate mexicans too and sometimes asians, get it right pal!

You are soooo patronizing dude, get off the high horse, this is a site about celebrating white people, so we say bad things about blacks and other groups, big frickin' deal. Listen to black AM radio sometime, 50,000 watts of anti-white hate 24 hours a day. We got a right to bitch here on OUR website, so get with the program or shove off.

I've written more words than I'd like to think about concerning Cowher, Kordell, O'Donnell, etc. Here's a "tribute" thread to Cowher after he resigned from the Steelers. He tilted very strongly toward black players and it mostly paid off for him. But he eventually got worn down and burned out by his mostly low-brow methods of motivation, and I think the same is becomingtrue of the Caste System in general. Most nearly all-black teams suck; Cowher'sSteelers teams in the '90swere one of the exceptions, but he also mellowed and adapted some over time, moving away from black QBs and mostly black o-lines, and playing pretty much whites only at TE and FB.

hey nevada, here is a link you might want to check out:

Ad Hominem

If I may:

Ad hominem abusive or ad personam

Ad hominem abusive (also called argumentum ad personam) usually and most notoriously involves insulting or belittling one's opponent.. This tactic is frequently employed as an appeal to emotion rather than by logic, especially when their own position is logically weaker than their opponent's.

In addition to your superb recitation of Cowher's record, you might have also just pointed out that Kordell Stewart took the Steelers to the AFC Championship game twice as the starting quarterback of the Steelers, once even in his first season as a starter.

I, on the other hand, would have pointed out that in the intervening three years between AFC Championship game #1 and AFC Championship game #2, Kordell threw only 28 TD passes TOTAL, 36 INT, was sacked an unbelievable 85 times, and lost six fumbles out of 15 fumbles total. His best quarterback rating during that period was 73.6.

He also cried on the sidelines when he was benched, and allegedly was seen at Schenley Park having sex with another man.

Would you have started Kordell Stewart for three years, with that kind of performance?

As for whether I or Cowher is an actual idiot:

id·i·ot (ĭd'ē-ət) pronunciation
n.

1. A foolish or stupid person.
2. A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.

I would say that neither of us qualify under #2. I would argue that Cowher foolishly retained Stewart longer than he should have as the starting quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers, for which I have provided ample evidence supporting same. But as Cowher is a multi-millionaire, I will admit that he does not qualify at all times as a foolish or stupid person, only occasionally, as in the Kordell Stewart example. Dude, obviously this website is interesting enough for you to keep coming back. Many CF posters in the boxing forums have accused you a many stupid things (like being black, a jew, whatever).

Based on your posts, I'm not sure what you're getting at either. In some posts, you acknowledge that whites athletes are being screwed over, are amazing players, etc....while in others you'll defend a obviously caste coach or a black player like your life depends on it. So which is it, man?

Bottom line, I like this website because it feels like throwing Affirmative Action back in the faces of "professional" sports and the media who fawns over them in an obviously biased fashion. If you think this site is about anything else, you're wrong.

Myself, and well as other posters are here to celebrate the few white men who are allowed into professional sports in this country. It's not the kind of forum where people argue back and forth. It's where we come to talk about the athletes that the media "accidentaly" forgets to mention.

Nevada, Cowher may very well be a good coach who had good players around him. Cowher was certainly a good motivator and had a good eye for talent at times. Bettis was the kind of RB that many large framed white men (ie. Rob Konrad, Owen Schmidt, Marc Edwards, R.J Bowers and Mike Alstott; the last two who would have even been better than Bettis) could be as a dominant power runner.

But I don't feel the need to defend Cowher b/c I know he is a caste whore. Cowher, cut white R.J Bowers who was the best RB in division two history. Bowers would have been better than Bettis IMO and he was much younger than Bettis and could have been his eventual replacement even if not used right away. Cowher also cut Danny Farmer even though he was a 4th round draft pick and an outstanding white WR from UCLA. According to reports Farmer got into a fight with a black player (I guess he didn't fit in too well as a white WR). Cowher is your typical caste coach who won't do anything unorthodox by developing white talent at caste positions, he may find good black talent, but he would never find the Wes Welker or Ed McCaffrey white gems.

He'll be the lone Caucasian beacon in the dark as night Dallas Cowboy defense in 2008. He was signed to a one-year deal.

Yahoo Sports' Michael Silver and WEEI in Boston both report that Tom Brady will miss the rest of the season due to a torn ACL.

"It's bad," a Patriots team source said. "We're going to have to play without him." Other sources told Silver that Brady's injury could include more ligament and cartilage damage. Fantasy owners should not make a move with Brady until it's confirmed elsewhere, but it seems certain that Brady is done. Obviously, it's devastating news for the entire Patriots offense. Matt Cassel takes over

Was the hit clean? I didn't see it, I just read a description and saw a picture. It sounds like the kind of hit that took Carson Palmer out a couple years ago; a hit that I thought was dirty.

I saw replays of it on my computer, but the screen size was very small. It seemed to me that it could have been a helmet to the knee. Not saying it was. Either way, all that talk about taking Brady out last year became a reality. HIs leg/s were banged up during the playoffs and I would guess he was a marked man. It would be so easy to deliberately do something like that and claim it was an accident.
