It's MIKE Wright not Matt lol. Also look for TE Kyle Brady to catch some balls for the Pats even though he was brought in for blocking. Apparently, there was a strong Brady to Brady connection in training camp.

The offensive side, except for TEs, is somewhat depressing, but its great to see a lot of defensive players, especially DBs and LBs. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the game tonight.Edited by: Colonel_Reb

Maybe this shows the tenacity of these 5 white WR's and that they really do have elite talent. Apparently coaches are comfortable dumping good white backups for upcoming black stars like Roy Hall. Also funny how the worst one to me on that list outside of Camarillo (who I know nothing about), Kevin Walter, is one of those starters. Please prove me wrong Walter.

couple of thoughts watching Colts - Saints game:

Dallas Clark is a great player, athlete. this guy can catch any ball thrown to him, blocks like a tackle and has good speed and agility for his size.
Saints need to stat Kaesviharn, their defensive backs are terrible (granted, they do play vs Manning and Wayne/Clark/Harrison, but still).
Throw a ball to Gonzalez, Peyton!
Scott Fujita is a freak of nature, big, fast and smart.

Dallas Clark had a very nice RUN showing solid speed for his size. A side note, it's absolutely unfathomable to me that an athletic freak like Kircus is not on a roster. The NFL only wants their freaks extra dark.

I agree with backrow, the real standouts in the Colts - Saints game (besides Manning/Harrison) are Clark and Fujita. Fujita seems to be all over the field and making plays. Hard to believe that he was almost demoted.

and can someone please shoot Madden already? if i hear about Bob Sanders' run defense and other abilities i will puke...

at least he gave Dallas Clark some props, naming him Colts late season's MVP.

EDIT: great FA pickup by Saints in mister Toast Jason David ... they would be better off letting Kaesviharn play CB!Edited by: backrow

yeah, this Giordano kid is real slow...

smiley36.gif

he diplayed his great speed once again, catching Bush on punt return for 2 yards (!) and then intercepting Brees and returning the ball 83 yards, simply outrunning whole Saints offense...
smiley32.gif

why the hell didn't i start Matt in CF fantasy league...

PS i will update defensive stats tomorrow, since NFL.com game stats decided to get all weird on me. Edited by: backrow

I got Fujita in my fantasy team

! Lovely jubly! I'm a huge fan of Dallas Clark, I'm sure he's going to have another great season. Giordano has the chance to raise many peoples eyebrows this season and he's made the perfect start.

I have Robison on my team. He was the only white defensive player I managed to draft because Backrow, Kaptain Poop, Col. Reband The Englishman took all the others!
