    Chance Imhoff - WR

Imhoff qualified for the state track meet in the 100m by getting second in the regional meet this past weekend. His time wasn't great (10.94) but it was raining and into a -1.1 m/s headwind. The regional meet covers all of SE Texas (population of over 5 million) so this is an impressive...

    2009 NFL Draft

I agree, Casey played every offensive skill position at Rice as well as some DE and LB. If the Texans can't use his talents to get him the ball, it will be a waste.

    Luke Muncie - S - 2010

Muncie will be a linebacker in college. He has the frame to easily be 230 lbs in the next couple of years. Good luck to him at LSU.

    2009 NFL Draft Prospects

Wow!! Great acceleration out of his backpedal and tremendous break on the ball. Very impressive.

That post should go in the Caste Football Hall of Fame. Bravo!!

    Steroids and Black Athletes

I have never seen any evidence that Mennea ever used PEDs. The only thing is rumors on message boards that he admitted to it. Mennea is an attorney that has been fighting for PED legislation in Europe for the past decade. You also see rumors on blogs that Borsov used PEDs, but no evidence...

    Chance Imhoff - WR

Imhoff was a SR WR for Pasadena Memorial HS and teamed up with Bo Snelson at RB for a successful football season. Although he was a productive WR (49 rec, 826 yds, 8 TDs) in a run first offense, what really caught my attention about this kid is that he finished 6th in the 100m in the high...

    Jordan Peterson

Reports from the A&M spring practices say that Peterson has been moved back to corner and listed as a starter. Jordan Pugh couldn't get it done last year giving a 15 yd cushion to every receiver because of his lack of speed. Pugh has been moved back to Safety. Good luck to Peterson in the Fall.

    Steroids and Black Athletes

Don't forget that he won the 2001 World Championships in a time of 20.04, beating Shawn Crawford, Kim Collins, and Christopher Williams.Edited by: SteveB

    Steroids and Black Athletes

This is a good thread, but it is has been covered here many times in the past. I think if whites had been using PEDs in the numbers that blacks have been over the past 25 years, there would be just as many white sprint champions. The perfect example is Kenteris. He is the only white male...

Hyped C. Michael vs. R. Swope: Texas A&M

Good comparison. I have always thought that Michael is overrated (but don't mention that on a TAMU board or you will get criticized). Swope is an awesome athlete. When you read these analyses by the recruiting services, it makes you wonder if they actually watch tape or research the player...

    Arkansas Razorback Track

Too bad that Colt Davis didn't stick with the team. He had the potential to be a good 100m sprinter. Does anyone know what happened to him? He was at Arkansas for his freshman season then disappeared.

    Sam McGuffie

Sam finished 8th in the finals with a 7.04. He must have had a bad race. Arajs won with a 6.77. Conference USA Finals

    Sam McGuffie

Conference USA Track Results To be fair TJR, McGuffie only ran the 100m a couple of times in track meets and he did the high jump, long jump, and the hurdles. If he just focused on sprinting and trained to sprint, I have no doubts that he could be one of the best sprinters at the college...

    Sam McGuffie

Wow, a 6.82 is pretty impressive since he has done very little track training this year. Ronald Arajs of UTEP has the 3rd fastest qualifying time. 2 of the top 3 are white. Edited by: SteveB

    It has begun

I believe that the 40 yard dash was used because that is the average distance that a player would cover on a kickoff or punt coverage.

some observations of college signing day

I remember that game very well. The black Miami DBs got schooled by BYUs white and polynesian WRs. The next year, Florida State played BYU as one of the top ranked teams in the country and got schooled as well. Tyler Anderson, who was probably the fastest player to ever play for BYU, burned...

    Non-Letterman Players

Yes, typically during the football season, players take a lighter load of classwork due to the amount of time football takes from class. During the season, players take classes in the morning and do weight training, film study, and practice in the afternoon. Players that want to graduate in 4...
