Maybe good news will filter in late as the affletes fail to qualify. But here's some already. Josh Orsino, mentioned in the 2012 WRs thread, signed a LOI to play for Florida Atlantic. Considering how miserable the Florida schools were last year, he should've gotten looks from all of them.

    Ron Paul - POTUS 2012

Sounds like a desperation move to me. He was speaking to a hispanic political group. He has been strategically removed from the other primaries by the party establishment. Maybe he thinks he can make up the difference in the southwest. I don't like his statements, either. But the article...

I suppose Arkansas fans can't feel too bad. After all, new SEC member Texas A&M was worse. They signed ONE white player. Sumlin is getting a fast start on his afrocentric supateam. A few other SEC teams and their number of white signees: Kentucky 7 Alabama 6 Ole miss 5 Florida 4 Arkansas 3

My first look at the complete lists (here) shows that Arkansas signed 24 players, only three of them were white. I know there are lurkers from Arkansas who view these boards. How do you sheep feel about this? Still love Bobby Petrino?

So does this go down as the "worst year ever" for skill players? Was there not even one white runningback who received a FBS scholarship to actually play that position? Edit: OKSt's website lists Muncrief as a runningback. I guess that technically fulfills that requirement. However, I have...

I've been jumping around from site to site, and I'm seeing very few white skill players signing at the FBS level. Plenty of linemen and kickers. Not much else. Even QBs are about half black quarterbacks so far. Not all schools have their lists posted yet, though.

RB Ben Knauf and WR Danny Anthrop both sign with Purdue. However, Purdue lists Knauf as a WR (slot) and Anthrop as an ATH (Special Teams). It's amazing how multi-talented our white athletes always are. They can get football scholarships for positions they've never played before!

    2011 White wide receivers

The 2011 season for WRs is over, but already the 2012 season for wide receivers will be down one potential white star. Seriously talented Arkansas WR Kane Whitehurst has been moved to safety, per a post on the Arkansas forums (and they usually have program info). Whitehurst's highlight reel was...

    Wide receivers class of 2012

Springdale, Arkansas Wide Receiver Michael Fine has been exiled to committed to DII Arkansas Tech. Fine, 6'5" 4.5, has been mentioned in this thread before and has his own CF thread here. ATU, despite being a mostly white school in a mostly white town, is much like every other football program...

Just in case some ignored my warning about Facebook, you should know that Google is the same type of entity. Google announces privacy changes across products; users can’t opt out Twitter is still mostly harmless because it's so worthless (unless you're a celebrity or news outlet). But...

    2011/2012 Bowl Game Thread

Well, I'm certainly not making a new thread just for the Shrine Bowl. Anybody else watching? I don't know anything about QB Coleman for the East. He seemed effective. And he has gotten a lot of good press by the football "bloggers". Harnish looked great for the West. Devon Wylie made a...

    Newt Gingrich

Ok. He could still change his mind once he gets in office, though. Perhaps the left would give him some sugar and convince him that all that revenue could only be a good thing for him. I just don't see anything in Romney that suggests he's any more than another cog in the one party...

Unless I'm mistaken, Romney supports the individual mandate. So if he won, we'd have our second straight criminal tyrant in the White House.

Facebook is a government data mining project. Yes, yes, private company, etc. You don't think Big Brother has the key to the back door? Given to them by Zuckerberg himself? If you use Facebook independently, you should stop now. * (Or "seditious" activity that Homeland Security can use...
