Taysom Hill will be starting tonight!! The good news is it’s against a Dallas defense that isn’t great. Bad news, he’ll be without Kamara and 2 starting offensive lineman. I hope he tears it up but I’m tempering my expectations for those reasons.

A lot of lousy games today with bad teams and bad football. Even the premier game, NE vs Tenn, has been a dud. The Titans didn’t really show up and the Patriots blew them out.

I hope the Eagles are happy with their decision. Wentz has over 2700 yards and 21 passing touchdowns. The fella they replaced him with only 2400 yards and 13 passing TDs (even with an extra game played).

The Jets are using some guy named Austin Walter as their 3rd RB today. He’s 5’-8” and 200 lbs. A real specimen looking at his chubby faced photo. There are almost no White men in the entire country (world?) who can compete at this level I guess….

To be fair to Oregon, they do have two freshman centers that see some limited minutes off the bench. Isaac Johnson and Nate Bittle. They might be more palatable next year if those guys grow into an important role. Anyway, go Gaels!

A mixed bag of results today. To me the most shocking is the funk that the Bills find themselves in. I thought Buffalo would be challenging for a Super Bowl. Now they’ll be lucky to beat out NE for the division. Hopefully they can right the ship.

It’s hard for me to feel sorry for any of the players. The coaches, to some degree yes, as they were threatened with termination. Players like Rodgers, Beasley, Harrison Smith, Cousins and Hopkins all had the courage to just say no. Others could have followed their lead.
