After doing a little research it appears that Welker is third on the list for career Super Bowl receptions with 26. Only Jerry Rice (33) and Andre Reed (27) have more..........and they both did it with four SB appearances. It should be noted that both Rice and Reed are in the HOF....

Trying to be positive here in the midst of a very depressing evening/game..........but didn't Welker become the leading receiver in SuperBowl history tonight? He had 11 catches in 2008 and 8 tonight and I can't remember how many in his other game. Lynn Swann had 16 total........can't think of...

If the Broncos win the SuperBowl.......and Welker wins MVP it will all have been worth the Patriots losing. If Welker can have a big game and erase memories of the 'drop' I think it will put him in the HOF.
