    2019 NFL Draft

I think Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst is one of the better media draft guys. His analyses of players seem more on the money than most. You can get a good idea of the player with his assessments. He's fairer to whites than most though he still underrates them.

Here are some RAS ratings for defensive ends and defensive tackles. The RAS measures athleticism taking into account size. As is usually the case white defensive linemen fare well in the RAS ratings. https://twitter.com/mathbomb/status/1102306281346527234

I don't know why anyone even bothers to watch modern movies. I just watch movies made before 1965. There are plenty of good movies to watch from that era.

    Ryan Nall

Jordan Howard was traded from the Bears. This may open up a spot for Ryan Nall. Unlike Howard, Nall is a good receiver. he fits the Bear's offense better. However, we all know how white running backs are treated. Maybe the Bears will surprise us. Here's a video of Nall's game against...

I always thought leagues such as the XFL should target medium sized cities rather than competing directly with the NFL in the big cities. Also, as LF suggested, they could have stocked their league with underrated white players and attracted fans that way. Instead they're gone.

    2019 NFL Draft

Lindy's draft guide does give the 40 times of players - which it gets wrong. The magazine says Chase Winovich ran a 4.82 40. Winovich ran a 4.59 at the Combine. Big difference! It says John Cominsky ran a 4.80 40. Cominsky ran a 4.69 40 at the Combine, at 286 lbs.

I don't recommend buying Lindy's draft guide. It has little by way of statistics. Statistics don't tell the whole story but they tell part of the story. Here's an example. It gives no statistics on DK Metcalf, supposedly a first round pick. The magazine claims he "enjoyed a fine 2017...

    2019 NFL Draft

I looked at Draft Tek for their ratings of edge rushers. There are 4 white men they give draftable grades. Nick Bosa they rank as the number one player in the draft. Chase Winovich at 90. Porter Gustin at 170. Maxx Crosby at 252. To me, putting Crosby as the 252nd best player in the draft...

    2019 NFL Draft

I read a couple scouting reports on Crosby and they make it sound like he's a horrible player. The Draft Network's Kyle Crabbs claims "Crosby lacks high end physical tools," which is obviously false. More scouting by race. Crosby is white therefore the DWF thinks that he's isn't athletic.

    2019 NFL Draft

There's a site called Draft Network. It's scouting reports appear to be very caste and stereotypical when it comes to white players. You'll see what I mean in their report on Andy Isabella, which never once mentions his exceptional speed. It says his 4.31 speed is "effective," not giving an...

I was surprised that Quinn lasted until the end of the 7th round last year. I thought he'd go in the 4th or 5th round. Shadowlight mentioned that Gruden wanted to take him earlier but was overruled. Every team passed on him repeatedly. I thought then and think now he can be a quality NFL...

The Combine and Pro Days -- the Caste System by the Numbers

I just had a discussion on a Bears board about Ryan Nall. I suggested Nall is a viable option for the Bears. Not surprisingly a couple of DWFs bashed Nall, one saying Nall was a slower Jordan Howard. So I looked up their times. Howard ran a 4.59 40 before the draft and Nall ran a 4.58. I...
