    Wallball!

In middle school, our recess yard was right up against the outside of the auditorium, so we had a massive brick wall to use. The yard itself was asphalt. We used the simple rules too. Anything too complicated just wasn't all that fun!

    Pittsburgh chases more diversity!

I think the addition of Eric Hinske was a steal, though. He's got 20 HR power out of a platoon situation and is extremely versatile. Plus, he holds a special place in my heart for striking out to end the World Series. Seriously, Hinske's a good player. I'd take him.

    Wallball!

Absolutely! Grade school to high school, wallball was the recess game of choice for me and my friends on the playground. We just used a tennis ball, but some people used the hard rubber ones.

Wow, that's nothing to spit at. These policies are too much to handle.

    Barry Bonds

Bonds' perjury trial is underway, as he pleads not-guilty. However, the judge on the case is on the verge of throwing out the positive urine tests, as there is no one to authenticate them. Hopefully the trial will continue. LINK

Marcin Gortat -- Live Body like Pau Gasol

How about Goran Dragic of the Suns? He spells Nash every once in a while and may very well be his successor.

Last white Safety in Super Bowl?

Right you are, Don. Archuleta is listed as a starter. John Lynch was actually in the Super Bowl the very next year with the Buccaneers.Edited by: PhillyBirds

Last white Safety in Super Bowl?

Er... may be one closer but I believe that Gary Fencik started for the 1985 Chicago Bears in their Super Bowl victory. Anybody else? Where's Sport Historian when you need him? Edited by: PhillyBirds

    The Offseason

Good question. Unlike Ben Sheets, Dunn doesn't really have any reason why a team wouldn't want to sign him to a multi-year deal. He is consistently 40 HR, 100 RBI. He does strike out a lot, but the production is there. Sheets has health issues, but why Dunn hasn't found a suitor is a total...

    The Offseason

Ruben Amaro Jr is making damn sure of that. Raul Ibanez is probably one of the dumbest signings of the entire offseason. Even though Ibanez is an American, born in Brooklyn, it's the ethnicity that drew Amaro to him. Coupled with Park, I'm not terribly enthused. I wish I lived in Boston. All...

    The Offseason

I know there's a few baseball gurus out there, so I guess I'll compile a list of teams and some of their important offseason acquisitions: NATIONAL LEAGUE EAST Braves: SP Derek Lowe, SP Kenshin Kawakami, OF Garrett Anderson Marlins: RP Scott Proctor Mets: CP Francisco Rodriguez, RP JJ...

Backrow, do you regularly spend time on any of the SBN blogs, like Mile High Report (the blog on which this article was written)? I post regularly on the Eagles and Phillies ones. Edit: Caution, really bad grammar at work.Edited by: PhillyBirds

    Allen Iverson Sucks!

Me too. I used to respect his loyalty when he said he stay with Minnesota, regardless of the fact that they sucked. He then immediately jumped ship to Boston. We get it Kevin, you're intense. He can stop banging his chest and grimacing. It's becoming a bit tiresome. i did, however, love how...

    James Harris resigns

I wouldn't bet against you there. Plenty of sumos to choose from in round one, and Freeman will probably still be there in round two. Don't forget about Nate Davis out of Ball State either. In Jacksonville, Shack Harris basically had control of all of the Jags draft choices and decisions. We...
