That 200m time is 2nd fastest in the country (high school). Gatlin is an incredible sprinter. I wish he would continue to run track to see how far/fast he can go.

Brody Buffington has committed to Georgia. If Boling stays on there another year, we will see the two of them together on the 4x100m relay.

Brody Buffington ran a 10.15 (0.6w) in the heats at the East Coast International Showcase!!! In the finals, he ran 10.29 (1.3w), finishing 2nd to 10.28. I believe his 10.15 is 2nd all-time (white HSer) to Matthew Boling.

Mia Brahe-Pedersen runs 11.08 (0.1w) in the 100m today. That's the fastest in the country, and faster than Abby Steiner ran in Doha on Friday. She also ran 22.61 in the 200m. A new PB and also the leading HS time in the country.

Coby Hilton 10.20 (0.8w) at altitude in Colorado Springs. His few races have been at altitude, so I am not sure how fast he will run when he comes back to earth. But Mary Price Sant, a few yrs ago, also did a lot of races at high altitude, and then still performed well when coming down to...

Basically QB, TE, OL, and P/K are the only positions where whites are drafted, and a smattering at LB. All other positions are seemingly off-limits with rare exceptions here and there. And those exceptions are rarely given the opportunity to play or succeed.
